BOLD Hotel Munich – Modern Comfort with a Cozy Touch The first thing that welcomed us each morning at BOLD Hotel Munich was the warm smell of toast — such a simple but comforting way to start the day. Location: The hotel is located a bit outside the city center — about 35 minutes away by tram (around 10 stops). The tram station is just 450 m from the hotel, roughly a 7-minute walk, so getting into the city is still quite convenient. Design & Atmosphere: The decoration is modern yet cozy, with a lovely living area that gives a warm, home-like feeling — even though we didn’t have the chance to use it, it added a nice vibe to the place. Room & Amenities: The room was very clean and featured a floor heater in the bathroom, which was especially nice on chilly mornings. Amenities are basic — towels, hand wash gel, and shower gel are provided, but no shampoo or body lotion, so it’s best to bring your own. I particularly liked the open hanging rack instead of a traditional wardrobe — it saves space and makes it easier to organize luggage. Parking: The hotel offers a garage on the basement floor for €15 per night. Simply pay at reception and use your room card to access it. Street parking is also free on weekends until 7 a.m. Monday, which is convenient if you rent a car. Service: The staff were very friendly and welcoming — one of them even spoke Thai, which made us feel extra at home. A great option if you don’t mind being a little outside the city center. Clean, cozy, modern, and warm — perfect for travelers who value comfort and a friendly vibe

I LOVED IT. 😍 Although it’s a bit on the outskirts, I recommend taking an Uber. If you drive: use Miles, and if not: Lime. The staff is JUST LOVELY. 🫶🏻 Super friendly, kind, and helpful. We only had breakfast one day – and we loved it. It’s vegetarian but really tasty. The coffee is AMAZING. I really appreciate that they offer gluten-free options like small rolls, and what I loved the most is how PET FRIENDLY the hotel is. Some hotels allow dogs, but this one truly welcomes them — the staff adored my little dog, and it’s great that there are green areas. If you asked me: Would you stay again? Absolutely.

Loved our time here. Staff were very helpful and the room was cozy. We had a top floor balcony room and the view of the Munich skyline was well worth it. Would definitely reccomend.

This is the bare bones. For over 300 per night the air conditioning was poor, room walls filthy, no bathroom amenities, no tissues, no tea or coffee in room, no closet. It’s just loud, walls paper thin, no trash cans in hotel. Only stay if you are desperate for a room. I rarely give reviews like this so I will say one positive- water pressure in shower was good and warm.

Design is very nice but we were not informed that breakfast is vegetarian and you have no other choice, no phone in the room for internal communication, we had to leave the room in order to contact anyone from the staff! The big big NO, is that one day before our check out suddenly there was no hot water to take a shower, we contacted the reception and they said that they will check if there is hot water in other rooms in order to move us, but we refused to be moved, she said she will inform us anyway but this never happened! The same evening we showed up at the reception but they didn’t even ask!! It’s sad to report such an incident but as soon as they got paid since day one, they should be at least helpful!

Very spacious and clean room, and a very friendly welcome with recommendations of things to do in Munich. A little bit further out from the centre but great transport links. We did not have breakfast but this did look good with lots of choice. Would stay again.

Google
Booking.com'd it. Was not in room much - out and about, slept soundly. Blackout curtains worked (bright from 5:30 to 21:00 in Munich Summer). TV as noted elsewhere useless broadcast channels, many not authorized to decrypt. But did not stay to watch TV. Breakfast, cafe, bar all looked great, did not use. -- Great Preisleistungsverhältnis. Clean, friendly*. Stayed 3 nights, room didn't get serviced, but I did not particularly mind. (*Not a given in Deutschland.) Slow EV charging end of street for overnight parking alternative to the garage. (Although it says just 1 hour.)
