Bologna nel Cuore

With the recommendation of friends we booked 5 nights in Apartment Ruby in the Bologna Nel Cuore Suites. From Australia we delt with Maria who arranged everything for our stay in the apartment. We had reminders about location to give to the taxi as the narrow one way streets are difficult to navigate.|Maria contacted us as soon as our flight arrived in Bologna and arranged for her assistant to greet us at the door to let us in and to familiarise us with everything in the apartment. She also arranged a taxi for our departure.|All was as shown on the web site with everything we needed. We were shown location of small supermarket around the corner where we could stock up with food needed. Most other consumables were already in the apartment.|The location was brilliant only a short walk to Piazza Maggiore and all the other areas for shopping and restaurants.|Fantastic 5 days stay. Would definitely stay when we go to Bologna again.

If you are planning a trip to Bologna, then look no further than Bologna Nel Cuore for your stay!! - we stayed in the Rubino apartment which is beautifully appointed, spacious and yet cosy at the same time - it has everything you need for your stay, with a superbly comfortable bed, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, fridge/freezer, washing machine and an excellent lounge/dining area - it’s location strikes the perfect balance of being in a quiet street with no traffic disturbance but is only a five minute walk from Piazza Maggiore at the heart of this beautiful city - furthermore, it is only a ten minute taxi ride to Bologna Centrale railway station and a mere twenty minutes by taxi to the airport.|The quality of the apartment, its quiet location, yet minutes from the heart of this wonderful city, provide the perfect accommodation choice if you plan to visit Bologna.

We stayed in the Rubino apartment. It was central, compact and comfortable - perfect for 2 people. The flat is in a very elegant building and beautifully laid out to maximise space, comfort and amenities. These include a washing machine, coffee machine, very good WiFi, lots of guidebooks and everything else you’d need. The location is a 20 minute walk to Bologna Centrale but it’s very central and there are plenty of trattoria options close to the flat or just a bit further in Piazza Maggiore. There is a Co-Op about 2 minutes from the flat for any food and drink requirements. Bologna is a great place to visit and the only tip I would offer is to recommend a visit to the wonderful Cinema Modernissimo located underground in a corner of P. Maggiore. Maria is a great host - clear and helpful with her comms and advice. I look forward to going back.

This was the PERFECT apartment for our stay in Bologna. The apartment was so charming and comfortable. Kitchenette very well-equipped. The large windows in living room opened onto a lovely courtyard below - a lovely view. We appreciated the orientation and helpfulness of Maria and Sabrina very much. Location is perfect for sightseeing in the historic center of the city. A very good value as well.

Absolutely superb accommodation in a quiet area only 5 minutes from the centre of Bologna. We stayed in Suite Rubino which has very well thought out accommodation. Everything you could possibly want is catered for including numerous travel guides of Bologna and the surrounding area. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.

This Bologna apartment is superb. It is nice and quiet and in a good location, not too far from the main tourist area around Piazza Maggiore and close enough to some local cafes, supermarkets and pasticceria. The apartment is nicely decorated and furnished and feels quite "homey". The layout and use of the available space has been very intelligently designed. The kitchenette is very well-equipped with crockery, cutlery and utensils. Monogrammed linen is a nice touch. The host, Maria Ketty, is friendly and helpful.

Bologna nel Cuore was the perfect place for my trip to Bologna. I stayed solo in the Toledo B & B room while my son stayed in the Rubino apartment, as he was working and the self contained apartment afforded him more space. ||The B & B is gorgeous and comfortable. The Toledo room was quiet and large, with more than enough closet and drawer space, a very comfy bed, plenty of extra bedding, nice light, a desk and an amazing bathroom and deluxe tub and shower. The cleanliness was exceptional and the furnishings were beautiful. The internet was fast too.||Maria was charming and welcoming, plus she was super helpful in recommending restaurants and specialty shops, as I needed some specific gifts. My favorite restaurant in Bologna was a lovely family restaurant that Maria recommended. She was also helpful in booking the taxi to the airport and making restaurant reservations.||The location was perfect and the area was lovely, with cafes, pharmacy and a grocery nearby. It seemed everything we needed was a 5 - 15 minute walk from the B & B. I did not eat breakfast while I was there, as I was going to an Italian language school and we had a coffee break as a group, but it sounds delicious from reading the reviews, and I know it would be presented beautifully. My school was a lovely 12 minute walk through Piazza Maggiore. The train station was a 20 minute walk or an easy taxi ride. ||All communication was easy with Maria, through WhatsApp.||I can't wait to return to Bologna and I hope to stay again at Bologna nel Cuore.

A beautiful well designed appartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent situation. During our stay we had some cold weather but the appartment was very cosy. Maria is an excellent host, very friendly and she shared lots of useful information about visiting the city, including restaurant recommendations
