I have mixed feeling about this place. The visit itself was amazing! This is a very prestigious place with beautiful rooms. My favorite was the oriental room. It was majestic! However the staff could use a bit of training and be more professional. The queue to enter was very long and we waited 30 minutes to have tickets. I was wondering why I took so long but then I heard that you have to take a guided tour to enter inside. Otherwise you can’t visit. Thankfully they have tours in several languages like Portuguese, French, English or Spanish. Each have a nominated time for the visit. The issue is that the lady who sells the tickets are sometimes making mistakes. For example she sold one visit for 4pm in French then another for 3pm because she forgot that there was a visit earlier. When it was our turn we asked about the French tour as we heard it was the earliest one and we had a plane to catch later. She then asked if we were living in France. We told her that we were living in England. She then told us in a rude way "so why don’t you do the English tour". We told her that we speak both languages and chose the first one that was available. She found that it was weird… The staff should be a bit more professional and respectful to guests. The guided tour was a bit quick and to be honest we didn’t have the time to listen because we were busy admiring and taking pictures. In total it lasted less than an hour. But we don’t regret our visit because the place was beautiful.

Very informative tour. Tour guide gave a very in-depth description throughout the palace tour, explaining 🤔 every mural or carving throughout. Otherwise, it would just have been an Ooh So Pretty Look At That Thing type of tour. Get to learn more about royalty 👑 and the significance of various points of significant Portuguese history and visit cool places like the Arabic room. 😎

This is a very Interesting building to visit. You can only do pre guided tours so head to the ticket office early to get your space in your required language tour. A former convent which has then been used by authorities for various purposes. The guide takes you through varying rooms explaining the history and use over the years. It was a very interesting tour to learn the history of the building and Portugal and our tour guide was fantastic. Well worth a visit.

I was blown away by this magnificent architectural gem. The tour guide gave us a great tour, explaining everything about the rooms, paintings and so on. There’s a discount for a student so I definitely recommend going here! I came there and they told me a tour in English will be in 40 mins, so I went for a coffee and came back.

Our tour guide was fantastic. She was funny and knowledgeable, and made the tour ten times better than I would’ve expected. The place itself is small, but it is certainly beautiful. If you’re in Porto, then it is must visit.

Build in 1830s..shows the splendour of Portugal which they gained through trade with different countries. Use till this day for Heads of Countriea visitation, and you can rent for wedding ets. They are doing a guided tour show and you can book one for your preferred language.

Extremely beautiful and decorated palace which must be on everyone's list while visiting Porto. Preferred language guided tour is available which will take you through the rooms and the histories. Don't forget to visit the souvenir room and to take memories with you.

We visited Palacio da Bolsa on a Sunday, but we were careful enough to buy the tickets the previous day so we wouldn't wait in line the following day. The Palace is an outstanding testament to the history of Porto. The walls, rooms and corridors exhibit an intricate and beautiful decoration. This place deserves a visit and it is totally worth discovering.
