There are no taxis cabs outside the airport. If you have to be somewhere right after you get here, I suggest not wasting your time trying to download taxi apps or calling taxi numbers that don’t work. Instead, walk out of the airport and take a bus. I had to get to the train station and I missed my train while I was trying to figure this whole thing out. It’s roughly an 8-10 minute walk from the airport entrance to the bus stop and then a 15 min bus ride to the station. I saw many people trying to get hold of a taxi cab in the blazing sun and missing their trains. So, plan in advance. You can pay your bus fee on the bus, or download yet another weird app. Your call.

Typical small regional airport with efficient operations but limited facilities. Before security there is a cafe and charging points. After security only a vending machine and no charging points.
Security staff is rather rude and hectic. Physical boarding pass required. Public transportation so-so.

Even the boarding pass qr code provided given during online check in was not accepted. Also, both flights to Bozen/Bolzano and out were delayed even when there is only one airline and two gates. Truly disappointed ...

Small but new and clean, light, modern and easy to navigate. Just one bathroom for men and women at the belt, so you better be quick or patient 🤣😎. And if you rent a car, go to Hertz, not Europcar, the latter is incredibly slow.

Good news: small airport, hardly any flights- so any luggage is quickly with you. Ditto passport control- very quick.
Bad news: no sign-posting to bus stop (bus does not stop at the airport), it is a 600m trudge with sometimes unpaved path to main road. (all without signage).
Suggestion: the airport owner (who also owns SkyAlps, the local airline) should get the city buses to loop round and stop in the airport.
Decision: Not planning to fly here again

Small, but efficient airport. Convenient location to fly into the Alps. It is about a 10min walk down the road from the closest bus stop. Friendly staff in the cafe.

Funny to see BZO Bozen/Bolzano next to MUC, VIE, BCN or even LHR. Flight BZO-IBZ-BZO in summer. For me it is very convenient to visit the family, as IBZ is well connected to the rest of Spain where I live.
I have taken it already a few times and the timing was perfect. I can only recommend it.
BZO is a tiny airport: no queues, no hassle...
There are not many flights, but the right ones for some holidays in the Alps. Let's give it a try.
