Bombabar

Had an exceptional time here last week. Booked for a group of 20, started off with rooftop drinks which was just gorgeous. They have windows which can enclose if it's cold outside, and then we went downstairs for dinner. Food was abundant, delicious, and dietaries all met with ease. Huge shout out to Kelly who was just wonderful in helping me organise the event with ease. And to Joe the bartender who was also very lovely! Drinks were delicious and the sangria was dangerously smooth haha. Service, food and venue were all exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to host another event here. Very good value for money when compared to other venues too. Thanks for a lovely evening!!

Everything about this place was just perfect! Me and my friends dined in on a Sunday night, the restaurant itself is super cosy and made us feel comfy and welcomed. Food, 10 out of 10, we had to gasp on every single dish! Also our server Em was THE SUPERSTAR!! She was hands-on, gave us some amazing recommendations, suuuper friendly and helpful 🥰 We chose the wine she recommended us, which paired perfectly to what we ordered and we had to order a second bottle cuz it was unreal. Me and my friends found our new favourite wine now🍷 We really appreciated everything and definitely would go back ❤️

Good delicious Spanish food. Worth the trip. Very convenient if you are attending a show etc nearby. Need to book to ensure you have a table. Flavors are well balanced n subtle use of herbs n spices. Service was impeccable n this is one of the few restaurants that change the plates after the tapas n montaditos. And the olive oil served for the bread was really high quality

The other day, I had a delicious dinner with my friend at Bombabar. Every dish was excellent. The staff provided excellent service. One of the staff members had been to Japan before and realized I was Japanese, so they approached me in a friendly manner and started a conversation about Japan. Thanks to them, I had a wonderful time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to Bomba a number of times now, and the last time i went, it was quite disappointing. Service and atmosphere were good, but the food was either average or under seasoned. The paella looked great, but tasted quite greasy. Hopefully it was just an off-night, because usually I’ve enjoyed my time at Bomba.

A very good Spanish style restaurant. The ambience and staff make this restaurant enjoyable. The food is good but lacked finesse with flavor, compared to other Spanish restaurants in Melbourne. The ingredient quality was also slightly lacking. All considered, we enjoyed our experience, but could be better.

We had a nice time at Bombabar! The food was good with excellent tapas. The paella was a bit on the soggy side. Our waitress was absolutely lovely but not all staff was as friendly. Altogether, I would recommend this place!

Great bottomless location. Food was delicious. Drinks were flowing. Our server Eva was fantastic. So so lovely and constantly at our service. 10/10 would come back.
