Bombabar

The other day, I had a delicious dinner with my friend at Bombabar. Every dish was excellent. The staff provided excellent service. One of the staff members had been to Japan before and realized I was Japanese, so they approached me in a friendly manner and started a conversation about Japan. Thanks to them, I had a wonderful time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely. Highly recommended!

Good delicious Spanish food. Worth the trip. Very convenient if you are attending a show etc nearby. Need to book to ensure you have a table. Flavors are well balanced n subtle use of herbs n spices. Service was impeccable n this is one of the few restaurants that change the plates after the tapas n montaditos. And the olive oil served for the bread was really high quality

I’ve been to Bomba a number of times now, and the last time i went, it was quite disappointing. Service and atmosphere were good, but the food was either average or under seasoned. The paella looked great, but tasted quite greasy. Hopefully it was just an off-night, because usually I’ve enjoyed my time at Bomba.

A very good Spanish style restaurant. The ambience and staff make this restaurant enjoyable. The food is good but lacked finesse with flavor, compared to other Spanish restaurants in Melbourne. The ingredient quality was also slightly lacking. All considered, we enjoyed our experience, but could be better.

We had a nice time at Bombabar! The food was good with excellent tapas. The paella was a bit on the soggy side. Our waitress was absolutely lovely but not all staff was as friendly. Altogether, I would recommend this place!

Great bottomless location. Food was delicious. Drinks were flowing. Our server Eva was fantastic. So so lovely and constantly at our service. 10/10 would come back.

We came here for a bottomless lunch, which was $75 per person. We chose a table seating rather than having it at the rooftop bar. Food was served very promptly, in fact, a bit too quick. The pork belly is to die for, so tender and well marinated. The potato croquet was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The braised beef was so tender than it just melted in my mouth. The potato bravas was well executed and tasty. My son had the lamb shoulder paella (not in the bottomless package), which was very well seasoned and delicious. The drinks were on point with the food served. We adjourned to the rooftop bar after lunch. The views were amazing and with the good weather on that day, it was very enjoyable. It is recommended to make a reservation for meals as it gets very busy. Hannah was excellent for her service and jokes. Well done!

expected the rooftop to be open, but only opens after 3pm. sat inside and was tossing up the set menu for $75 or workers lunch $30. waitress recomended the set menu but we eneded up regretting it. looking at others tables, they are pretty much the same thing so unsure why they told us to pay so much extra. the food was nothong special either. ambiance was cozy, but the waitress was a touch rude everytime they came over, also ignored us when we needed more water and napkins. patatas bravis were the best thing we were served which says something about the rest of the menu.
