Yelp
The best Indian restaurant on Oak Tree Road, Iselin/Edison area. There are numerous restaurants on this street, but Bombay Blue Indian Bistro exceptionally surpasses them all. Initially, I thought the menu was limited, but after visiting the restaurant several times per month, I realized this is more than perfect. I ordered the veg Manchurian (dry) and chili paneer (dry) as my appetizer. Both of the dishes were delicious. The Manchurian and paneer were crispy and tossed in the spicy sauce. The bell peppers and onions are also nice and tasty. For the main course, I ordered the paneer bhurji and shahi paneer with butter naan. The rice is complimentary. The shahi paneer gravy is creamy and thick. As soon as I dip the naan, the curry instantly coats the naan, instead of dripping down. The paneer bhurji is my personal favorite and I usually order it extra spicy.
In the past, I ordered the Manchurian sizzler that comes with an assortment of vegetables, paneer, and gobi (cauliflower). It is served on a hot metal plate and comes to your table sizzling, spraying all its juices on the table. It is best eaten off the plate with their chili garlic noodles.
Forget Rasoi and other typical restaurants you usually visit. Instead, come here and taste the authentic flavors of India. The restaurant is Bollywood themed and encompasses some unique decorations.
