Bombay Chopsticks

This was my first visit here and I wasn't disappointed. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was prompt and the food we had was delish. 😋 The mango salad, hakka noodles with beef and the crispy beef were my favorite. The mango ice cream at the end was perfect sweet finish to the meal. Give the spot a try. Your taste buds will thank you.

Ordered the gobhi manchurian, prawns, and calamari — everything was absolutely delicious! I’ve never had seafood this good. The dishes were prepared beautifully by Sukjinder, and the service from Phil was incredible. He was such a kind and sweet gentleman. Truly a wonderful dining experience!

Delicious Asian food I had after ages. Their eggplant starter ( i couldnt note the name) was delicious and so was broccoli stir fry. Loved the Thai Basil fried rice and the Hakka noodles too. I also had mix veg stir fry which was again delicious..followed by the gorgeous desserts. Banana toffee and the baked cheesecake... melted in the mouth but not too sweet or sugary. Also they serve Lava cake too...their Vanilla ice cream was yummy too.. tasted like made of original vanilla extracted from the bean ans not commercial essence. Just the right flavor with balanced sweetness... amazing food!!

I had scheduled my order for delivery for 7pm. order was not picked up by Uber when I called the restaurant to check at 7.15. Was told by staff its not the restaurants problem and I should deal with Uber. Restaurants need to understand, they are ultimately responsible because the quality of the food is no longer the same. Even if the order is picked up an hour late, Restaurants still get paid so they don't care. So to begin with the quality of the food was so terrible coz it had been sitting at the store for over an hour. The flavors were a total miss, the soup was blend and like water. The Chili chicken was loaded with salt, so could not taste anything else. Rice was raw. Beef was more sweet than spicy. Terrible food, would never order again or recommend this place to anyone. Ruined our New Years dinner. Terrible attitude during the phone conversation when called to inquire about my order.

The ambiance is great! When you walk in, the restaurant looks modern and well kept. Unfortunately, I couldn't extend the same compliment to the food or the service. The waitress barely understood what we were trying to order. The food was bland, had to add sauce to be able to eat it

Tried the Singapore rice noodles and crispy corn for appetiser.. and they were absolutely flavourful.. enjoyed the taste and ambience was very peaceful. I’d definitely recommend it.

I liked the place and the food was good. I ordered Golden Prawns, chili dry with gravy and Kung pao with white chicken. Loved Prawns, liked chili dry and the vegetable rice. Kungpao had a lot veggies in it. Another observation was Parking was full already and they were few customer inside I have to roam around to find parking. Overall good expeirence might visit again.

Amazing food, great fusion of Hakka Chinese and Indian with their chilli chicken being the best. The owners Juni and Shabaaz were very friendly and welcoming!

The atmosphere is upscale and modernized. The service was good since we were their only patrons on a weekday evening. Strangely enough. We were there for about three hours chatting away. There is a small parking area beside the restaurant. We ordered three dishes to share. The food didn't all come out hot in temperature. The taste didn't stand out, but the portion sizes are smaller than other Hakka places. I didn't realized there's a fee for sharing dishes which is a typical thing to do for these types of dishes. Didn't like to over-paid for something that it's alright to do at 99% of the restaurants out there!!

I am so glad that I found displays from Yelp event. They have been open for 2 1/2 years and I wouldn't have ventured in, but I'm so glad I did. I actually really love the inside. The ambiance gives posh restaurant bar downtown vibes. to top it off they have a bartender who is able to make drinks for you. That is not on demand but personalized to your taste. I ordered three party trays right after dining here with such as a mango salad, the chilli chicken with gravy, and the cauliflower bites. Everybody loved it and asked me where I got them. This will be stable for me whenever I need some trays. It is also a great dining option whenever I need to relax and just be in a nice place with great food. I love the dessert ice cream with fried banana.

A long time ago, my cousin took me to Bombay Chopsticks at Sandalwood Plaza and introduced me to Hakka food for the first time. Sadly, there was a fire in the plaza some years ago, and they had to close down. Recently I visited their new location in Streetsville and was happy to have their Crispy Beef and Dry Manchurian Eggplant once more! Their space is large and could host big parties! I've been twice recently and both times service and food were both wonderful. Check out this local small business in historic Streetville!

I am having food poisoning after I had a lunch on Sunday. The service was good, restaurant was empty and should have taken that as a sign.

Elevated Hakka Chinese restaurant! Nice ambiance, great food, fast service and nice staffs! Ordered a couple of their main courses. Bombay Chopsticks chicken Crispy beef with sesame seeds Paneer manchurian Priced at $20/item, but it was perfect for sharing. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! They also have lunch specials which we are looking forward to try next time. It's being offered from Monday to Friday til' 3PM. And it's only valued for $15! Steal!

We came on a Saturday around 5 pm. We were the only ones there and then 3 other tables filled up quickly. Service was friendly and nice and very quick. However they brought all our food out together....apps and mains, which felt rushed. I used to eat at this restaurant weekly when they were located on Bristol & Hurontario and I was pregnant with my first born 26 years ago. I always ordered Szechuan eggplant back then but it wasn't on the menu. Our server said she would ask the chef and they made it for me!! It was so tasty but the eggplant was breaded so it wasn't gluten free. I didn't have the sensitivity back then and I ate it this time for nostalgia sake, but did suffer for it I had the basil fried rice which was gf. My fam had the manchurian cauliflower (dry) to start which was crispy and flavourful. They enjoyed their manchurian veg balls in sauce but didn't love the chili chicken in sauce. The interior of the restaurant is the same as it was when it was Mondello....classy and upscale. Free parking beside restaurant, on the street and in the opposite plaza.

Was super good and got me full and drink were soo good as well I recommend this place and I'm super selective on Chinese cuisine this will be one of my favorites from now on. As customer service was even better making us feel special. The setting of the restaurant was amazing as we felt fancy.

Found a long black hair in our food....disgusting! They refused to refund our money because we ordered on-line and picked up in person. We even tipped 15% on a pick-up order! We'll never order from this dirty restaurant again!!! Everything went in the garbage!

Such good things to say about this restaurant. They were located at Bristol and Hurontario but have since relocated to Streetsville. The food here is so amazing and delicious! Love how inviting the staff and atmosphere here is. This is seriously some delicious Hakka Chinese food. Everything is halal and made fresh. Our favourites were the green curry, the noodles, bombay chicken and the fried corn!

If your looking for a quiet cosy place this one is a mist try. The ambience, seating and decor made dining at this place a wonderful experience. Our menu for the evening included Appetizers : Sweet corn soup - Good. Lots of chicken n corn which is good. Chicken momos - ok, the sauce made it slightly better Chicken wings (Classic)- must try. Nice crispy wings. Some of the best crispy wings in town. Crispy beef - part of the main course menu but we had it as an appetizer. A little on the sweet side but still a nice dish. Mains: Chilli Chicken gravy- Very tasty. Must have Fried rice- Veg Chow mein - Manchurian style- good noodles. Tasty!! Green tea, Nestea and Mango lassi- really good.

Good food and served hot. Friendly staff. Not too long wait time for the order to come. Beautiful ambiance and patio available.

We went as a family to this restaurant on Saturday night. The food was delicious, hot and delivered quick. The service was extraordinary. Very attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable as well.

This restaurant did an outstanding job, the service was amazing, the food was impeccable! I loved the atmosphere and highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!
