So I recently started working around Roswell area, and I noticed how many Indian restaurants are around the area. I am assuming there is a huge demand for it. Bombay Flames was one of the new Indian places, which I got to try out around the area, and I specifically went there for Friday lunch buffett. I was told that this place gives more food and fish on Friday's.
I didn't have any issue finding this place, and I got sat pretty quickly. The waiter seemed a little off, maybe he was having an off day, but everything else was fine.
I noticed other negative reviews, and I paid attention for those things, but I didn't have the same experience. Luckily, mine was pleasant or better than the other negative experiences. Food was ok, and I was not looking for some blown away experience. For an Indian buffet, I left satisfied.
Chicken felt a little dry, but that can't be really helped when it's constantly under heat. The classic tikka masala was ok, and I went for a second helping after the first. The selection of was good, and for under 10 dollars, it is definitely worth going back.
The buffet line is split into vegetarian and non-vegetarian section, and so I got to sample both, which quite enjoyed the variety. I have had better Indian buffet or food before, but for under 10 dollars for lunch, this is a good spot to hit.
The spices were all there, but it was not delicate. The basic ingredients are present, but the level of sophistication with the spices do fall below your other Indian places. However, I keep repeating this part, this was a lunch buffet, so we can't expect high level.
If you are in the area and want to pig out with Indian food, check out Bombay Flames.
PS. The fried fish was seasoned, but it was more batter than fish.
