Truly one of the best Indian places around. The murals are beautiful and they have such an efficient and unique way of serving the tables. This place is always busy and I've never been disappointed. It is with it to splurge on a lassi because it complements the flavors so well. The mild is extremely mild with no spice at all. The naan is supreme. My favorite dish is lamb saag, but everything is good.

Google
Hands down best Indian food in Utah county, perhaps in all of Utah. I have experienced many other places and this is by far the best. The food is cooked to PERFECTION, the menu is clear and has beautiful detailed descriptions of each dish, this is a gluten free friendly and allergy friendly restaurant. 🙌🏼 The staff are friendly, efficient, respectful and personable. This restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. The decor and murals are gorgeous, the atmosphere is impeccable. Always impressed every time I come! 10/10! 5 star experience.

The other reviews here already speak to the excellent quality. It tends to be a little busy and hectic whenever you go but it’s still an excellent spot.

Google
One of the absolute best. A must stop every time we come to Provo. The food is unrivaled in its richness and flavor.

My wife and I enjoyed dining here while we were dating 18 years ago. We just came back with our kids nearly two decades later. The place has only improved with age. They were quick to get us seated, despite it being a Friday night and a popular place and busy. They gave us a 15 minute wait time estimate but had us seated in less than ten. The food and service was excellent. The wait staff all seem friendly and personable, and clearly enjoy their jobs. My daughter had the shrimp masala, and said it was the best shrimp she has ever had. We all left full and happy and with a bag of leftovers.

I’ve been going here ever since I’ve been a little kid. At most other places, you eat and when you’re stuffed you feel gross. But at Bombay House, no matter how much you eat, you feel very satisfied. The food is always delicious. I’ve been to many different Indian places, and this one has always been the best. The employees are always very helpful and nice. The paintings are very cool, and everything is always clean. I would highly recommend.

This was our first experience with Indian Cuisine and it surpassed our expectations. Our server Carlos was attentive and helpful when making decisions on what dishes to try. The food was 10/10 and the atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. Overall - a delicious and pleasant experience :)

Though it was just the two of us, so it'd be easier for this to happen, we were able to be seated straightaway, and were given a very pleasant greeting by the staff. The food, as always, was heavenly. We both tried something different today, and let me tell you, we have never been disappointed with the food at Bombay House, and we were delighted with our choices tonight. Orlando, our waiter, provided excellent service, and ensured we had a wonderful evening. Thank you for your tremendous service, Bombay House!

Yelp
I LOVE Bombay House so much! I used to live closer and haven't been for a while. I need to make my way to Provo more and would just for Bombay House!! We walked in on a busy Saturday night at 6:15 as a party of two. They told us 30 minutes and they were pretty dang close to exact in having our table ready. (No reservations--walk ins only) The entire staff is SO FRIENDLY and nice! Makes for even a better experience. Our server was Tavo, and he was incredible. I ordered the coconut tofu and garlic naan bread. I ate the entire thing--SO GOOD!!! When I ordered it Tavo made a comment (without me asking) that that dish was a good one. I wish I would've ordered an additional dish to take home with me, it was that good!! I need to make more visits to Provo for Bombay House!!! 100% worth 40 minute drive each way for me. Thank you for an amazing dinner and time with your team!!

Yelp
I'm in town bringing my daughter out to college and after a full day of moving and no food, we were famished. We are from Connecticut and enjoy fantastic Indian food regularly. This place got great reviews so we ordered a meal to go of chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, vegetable korma and garlic naan. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be given the rave reviews, but maybe there's not much good Indian food in Provo to compare it to. Good size portions though, and they prepped our to go order quickly.

Yelp
This is now my second time going there! Just as good as the first time. This really is a great restaurant with fresh authentic food. The service is amazing and everyone there is so friendly. Cute place inside i like the decor! It's so good I could go back tomorrow night. Highly recommend the lamb here. Very tender and juicy (best lamb i've had).

Yelp
If there was a map of the best Indian food the world possesses this would be a shining star- the chicken tikka masala is so flavorful that anytime I have ordered it anywhere else it pales in comparison to the robust and deep flavors that Bombay house offers. The unique ambiance brings you to another place where you feel the Provo scene melt away behind you and share intimate moments with your loved one's.

Yelp
Bombay House is the best of the best. The service is great and the food is exceptional. The vegetable samosas were crispy and had a lot of veggies in them. The tikka masala was just so tasty and delicious! The garlic naan is great too. I had a taste of the Bollywood chicken curry and wow, it was delicious too. I can't wait to come back!

Jessica F.

Yelp
Very good. I loved the curry. The tikka was delicious and the naan bread was amazing. Service was very punctual and we loved our waiter.

Yelp
Bombay House continues to put itself at the top. Food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Ambience and environment are also great. You won't go wrong here.

Yelp
I love Indian food and Bombay House checked all the boxes for me! The service was exceptional and the restaurant appeared to be clean and beautifully decorated. We ordered the vegetable pakora and chicken pakora for an appetizer and for the entrees we ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken tandoori, chettinad kolee, Bollywood chicken, shrimp tandoori, and naan bread. My favorite items were the chicken tandoori and tikka masala.

Yelp
I was so excited when my wife suggested Bombay House for our dinner date tonight. I had takeout from here during the pandemic, so I can safely say I did not have the full experience back then. For starters, I ordered the mango lemonade and the vegetable samosas. The mango lemonade tasted fresh and not too sweet. Neither of us had ever tried samosas and were positively surprised by how good they were. For a fried appetizer, it didn't feel greasy, the dough was flaky, crunchy, and the feeling was delicious. The mint chutney was delicious and our favorite. The tamarind chutney was also delicious. For our main course, we ordered chicken tandoori and chicken tikka masala. They were both so delicious. The chicken tasted amazing in both dishes. The sauce on the Tikka Masala was one of the best parts of this meal. It had just the right amount of spiciness. The Tandoori chicken had that tandoori oven char flavor you want from a Tandoori dish. I almost forgot, but we also ordered their delicious garlic naan. Two orders were just the right amount for the two of us. Bombay's menu is so exciting and I can't wait to come back here to try so many of their dishes. One piece of feedback: Music was a bit too loud, making it difficult to talk to my wife during dinner.

Yelp
I got the saag paneer with some garlic naan. It was pretty good! I asked for it medium but it wasn't super spicy. I've heard lots of great things about Bombay house and I was expecting a lot and it was still good but not insanely amazing. But I'd go back and try something else sometime for sure! Nice guys who work there.

Yelp
I haven't been here in over 20 years, since we moved out of state. I forgot how amazing the food is! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Makhani, Vegetable Coconut Kurma, and lots of Garlic Naan. I was honestly sooo into the food that I forgot to take pics, until we were halfway through the meal. The Vegetable Coconut Kurma was my favorite!! The multiple waiters helping us were all very attentive. We were never out of water or rice, anytime we got close to being low, another one magical appeared. Hopefully it's not another 20 years until I get back here again.

Yelp
This is the best Indian food I've found in Utah. Love the atmosphere and inlimited rice.

Yelp
This is not a Bombay House, this is a Bombay Home. I hope Downtown Provo realizes how lucky they are to have such an amazing establishment in the heart of their city. Bombay House has been serving up delicious Italian Cuisine to the greater Provo community for decades, and I hope they continue to do so for decades to come. There are a few competing Indian food restaurants in the area. However, there is something that makes Bombay House special. They have one of my absolute favorite dishes; something I have not been able to find anywhere else. Next time you go, you NEED to order their Onion Bhaji. When I first tried it, I wasn't even the biggest fan of onions. Now, I am obsessed with this dish. Basically, it is onions that are coated with a chickpea batter and then fried. It comes with two delicious sauces--I especially like the brown sauce it comes with. I have found something I like and I stick to it--so I always order the chicken tikka masala and pair it with some naan. It also comes with rice on the side. This has always been a delicious choice. You choose the spice level and this is typically the one thing I will switch up. I usually go with either mild or medium, depending on how I am feeling. I tend to get the strawberry lassi, which has always been delicious and pairs well with the rest of the food at Bombay House. Within the lobby, AJ is always so nice to everyone walking in. The servers have always been so quick and accommodating. They are really good about making sure that everything is good and refills are always timely. I would assume parking can be a little tricky since it is downtown, but I personally have always had great luck with a front row spot. There is very limited parking right out front but there are a few side streets with parking. The overall vibe of the restaurant is perfect. They always have fitting music that is great with the atmosphere. The lights are dimmed enough that you can still see the menu but it's not blinding either. The tables are perfect for an date night. I have loved everything about Bombay House and it has always been an amazing experience. I will definitely be coming back for many years to come.

Yelp
We walked in without a reservation during dinner time on Tuesday and was seated within 5 minutes. We were quite hungry and other restaurants were too busy at this time so we were super pleased. The food was so good! We ordered a lot since we were hungry. We got the aloo gobi, Bollywood chicken, and garlic naan. The server recommended mango lassi and the Bombay lime so we ordered those two drinks as well. The drinks were delicious. I find that sometimes mango lassi is too thick to drink through a straw but this one didn't have that problem. It was sweet, flavorful, and easy to drink. The Bombay lime was fizzy, sweet and tangy. Both very good reccs. The Bollywood chicken was so creamy and pleasant. Id order this again in a heartbeat. It was lighter than the typical curries I usually get at Indian restaurants but still creamy and full of flavor. The aloo gobi had perfectly cooked potatoes and cauliflower. Neither was too crunchy nor too soft. We also had a pleasant experience w the server. Would definitely visit again :)

Yelp
We love coming to Bombay House for special occasions and groups! Delicious food, and dishes are clearing marked if they contain dairy, gluten, nuts or are vegan. There are also some new menu items that looked delicious. Carlos was a fun and helpful server. It's always a good time at Bombay!
google avatar

Madison G.

Yelp
We love Bombay House! I have been coming here for two years now and it is the best Indian food I've ever had!! I recommend the Chicken Makhani and Lamb Masala :)
google avatar

Susannah H.

Yelp
Unfortunately no pictures from this place. I have gone here a couple times with my friends from them recommending it and the atmosphere is so fun. If you love Indian food you will love this place. A little small and definitely busy in the heart of Provo so make reservations but it's my favorite Indian around utah county!! Great for dates or with friends.
google avatar

Lindsey K.

Yelp
Indian food is SO hit or miss and this is definitely a HIT! I came here yesterday and tried the Butter Chicken and the Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and all were delish! I ordered mild and wish I had gotten medium for just a little more spice but it was still so tasty! Service was wonderful and our waited kept the rice coming! The ambiance is perfect and the booths are all pretty secluded so it's not too loud in there. Totally recommend!
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
Bombay House is my favorite restaurant in Provo. I just can't ever get enough! I went for my birthday and everything was perfect. The service is always friendly and quick and the food always hits the spot. You can't go wrong with the chicken tikka masala and when I'm really feeling it I like to grab a Mango Lassi. Such a great place that everyone should definitely try out!
google avatar

Gina G.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Don't expect spicy items even if you order it hot. We didn't detect any spiciness but it was all delicious! It was busy on Saturday night and we waited an hour for a table for 8. WORTH IT!
google avatar

Trent M.

Yelp
Delicious! It's been several years since I've been here and I forgot how good this place is. The sampler appetizer was a great start. We got the garlic and the peshawari naan alongside the chicken makhani and the dhaba lamb. I can't wait to come back
google avatar

Tanner W.

Yelp
I got the Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, & a Mango Lassi. 5 stars is an understatement, it had the best flavor and amazing portion size. Great vibe in there as well. I recommend this to anyone considering you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Bombay House is absolutely one of our favorite go to's for date night! We love the ambiance and the staff is always very friendly, attentive, and professional. It definitely gets busy on the weekends, so expect to wait but during the weekdays typically you can get seated within 10 minutes if not right away. The only downside would be the onsite parking. If it is the weekend, expect parking to be hit or miss. You may have to walk a block or two, but with it being near city center, there is plenty of other parking in the area. The food. I cannot talk enough about the quality of the food and food service. Carlos helped us out tonight and he was very friendly and frequently made sure that everything was tasting good and if we needed anything else. Our go to's are the chicken tikka marsala and the dhaba lamb. The meat is very tender and the sauce is perfect to be able to mix in with the rice and enjoy an all around wonderful dish. The heat level of the sauce I would say is just a notch above what may be considered normalcy at each level. I would suggest going a level down from what you would normally order elsewhere and then work your way up from there, so you are not caught by surprise (unless you are feeling adventurous).

Yelp
Really solid Indian food here. I've had a lot of Indian food in LA and NY and some great places, Bombay House holds its own. I wasn't expecting much as Utah is known for its culinary prowess, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The chicken tikka masala and the shrimp with pineapple and cream sauce was heavenly. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return! Oh, and I forgot the mango yogurt drink. Wow, that was an amazing complement to dinner.
google avatar

Marco B.

Yelp
Really enjoy the food here, they also serve my favorite German beer. Went back multiple times to date

Kurt R.

Yelp
This was the best Indian food I have ever had! This place was recommended to me by one of my friends who attend BYU a few years ago!
google avatar

JoAnne R.

Yelp
The wait wasn't bad (15-20 minutes). The food was fantastic! The service was quick and the servers were friendly. The owner stopped by several times. It was a bit noisy, but I think it was because of some rowdy college kids sitting in the next table.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Gave Bombay house a second try today, and it went much better than last time. The rice was cooked perfectly, and both the Chicken Tikka Masala (hot) and the Lamb Vindaloo (extra hot) tasted good. The Saag Paneer was still not quite right, a bit bland for me, but the texture was much better than last time and still had lots of cheese. The Naan portions were still pretty small, and flat, but the food was better than the last time I ordered for sure.
google avatar

Anthony B.

Yelp
Thoroughly disappointed. The food is overpriced and not even cooked properly. We ordered a Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh, regular naan, and garlic naan for delivery to try a wide range of dishes. The Saag was spiced ok, but the vegetables were puréed to the point where there was no texture anymore. The butter chicken was decent and probably the best dish of the three. The Rogan Josh was odd. Very heavy on the tomato and closer to a vindaloo. It was lacking that savoriness that this dish is known for. The naan we received was also a bit pathetic. it was the smallest, flattest portion of naan i have ever gotten, and for $4 I felt throughly ripped-off. Each dish also came with rice and as a fellow Asian, I am judging their worth as an Asian by how well they cook their rice and they have failed. The rice was undercooked-lots of rice with a hard/crunchy centers. I don't know if their rice cooker is broken, but the rice was worthless and disappointing. For the prices that they charge, it's going to take a miracle for me to order again.

Yelp
Bombay House (aka Mumbai House) in SLC was one of my first loves when I moved to Utah 22 years ago, but this is the first time I've been to the Provo location. The recipes were precisely what is served in SLC. I would give my right arm to know what gives their chicken tikka masala that stand out flavor that only Bombay/Mumbai House serves. Ceasar indugled my friendly interrogation for the secret to the sauce (no luck). But Raj made my night when he teased a potential cooking class in the future. I hope he doesn't break my heart. Raj, call me! *Bombay is the British colonial name. Mumbai is the rename under the government of Maharashtra.
google avatar

Sandra R.

Yelp
Terrific food in a fun, bustling atmosphere! Decent amount of vegan offerings and the three I ordered were yummy. Weekends you'll wait for a table as they are usually packed. Wait staff said Tuesdays you can usually get seated right away. It's worth the wait though!
google avatar

Pete J.

Yelp
My son lives in Provo and I was visiting this week. He had been looking forward to getting dinner here all week. We arrived for dinner early to beat the crowds. Provo is a college town so dinner can be very busy. His plan was for both to get his favorite dish MUSHROOM RAJPUTANA and 3 orders of Garlic Naan. The dish was really fantastic and not something I have ever seen at another Indian restaurant. The Naan was prepared perfectly thin with crispy and soft textures. When our rice ran low they refilled it. We were surprised when the owner came from the kitchen and walked through the dining room asking diners about their meal. This is a fantastic restaurant and not one to miss when you are in the Provo UT area.
google avatar

Jon T.

Yelp
Who would have thought you could get such good Indian food in Utah? Certainly not me, but Bombay house won't disappoint! I had Bombay once several years ago as takeaway and then again more recently at the restaurant itself. Despite the time that had elapsed it was equally good both times. The restaurant itself is quite large, but even still, gets very busy and there can be a wait. But once you're seated with a feast in front of you know it's worth it. There are plenty of vegan options on the menu and we shared several amongst our table. Aloo gobi is always a staple for me and theirs was excellent. But there coconut tofu and vegetable coconut kurma were also amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was attentive and speedy. What more can you ask for? Definitely a must try if you are in Provo.

Lilly W.

Yelp
Delicious food, excellent service, generous portions, beautiful interior, no wonder it was so crowded but wait was only 15 minutes on a Friday night.

Dave L.

Yelp
Food was good but great. The butter chicken and Tila Masala just seemed to lack something. Perhaps not as sweet as I'm used to. The garlic naan was very good.
google avatar

Bethany W.

Yelp
Always the most reliable Indian restaurant in Provo. Probably the best restaurant in Provo actually. The staff is great and somehow the manager always trolls my husband when we're there haha. We go for the lamb saag and shrimp tikka masala, so good.

Kristan T.

Yelp
Such a great restaurant!! Food is amazing and all the workers/ owners are SO KIND. The culture is built into the building, the serving plates and the amazing treatment.

Presley M.

Yelp
Bombay House is ALWAYS so delicious. Their tikka masala, of course, is superb and I also highly recommend a mango lassi and garlic naan. The service is excellent-- my water glass has never been dry! Get there early if you don't want a long wait.
google avatar

Neha P.

Yelp
The pakoras and the tandoori chiken was really good. Wasn't a fan of the samosas. The service was fast.
google avatar

Riley R.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I just went there for the second time for my wife's birthday! She and I loved it so much. The food is savorous. It has a blast of flavor I haven't found elsewhere. The chicken tikka masala and makhani are amazing. The chicken was tender and quality. The workers were kind and attentive. I appreciated their quick work, attention, and respect. They brought a second helping of rice without us asking. I loved that. No need to look around waiting for a waiter, they had one ready to help out.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
I always love coming to this place for food! Everything I have gotten here has always been absolutely amazing and the staff is always extremely friendly and attentive. Cesaer is always super helpful and fun to have as a server and I always look forward to taking my friends here to have the full Bombay experience!
google avatar

Clint D.

Yelp
It was great, the chicken Chettinad Kolee was amazing! The one issue was my mom couldn't eat a lot there and the waiter suggested that she can get a side of vegetables which we got. We later found out we were charged $14 for vegetables, which I understand it's not a usual item on the menu, but it should've been as much as either naan-or appetizer. Chicken Tandoori had an almost negatively interesting taste so I'd recommend trying another chicken dish instead. Don't let them suggest custom dishes without asking a price for them first .
google avatar

Raena L.

Yelp
I always love coming here because the food is amazing!! Some of the best Indian food around the area. Every dish was delicious and the portions were perfect for us. Service is wonderful, waiters were very kind and gave good recommendations. I love the ambiance of the place, it's a fun place to go try with friends! Only down side is that you can reserve beforehand so the wait can be long sometimes.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
If you like Indian food this place is a must! I wouldn't call myself an expert in this area as I've only gotten the chicken tikka masala and naan bread because quite honestly I'm a little afraid to branch out more as I don't know if I'd like it or not but the chicken tikka masala never disappoints and the naan bread is great! We were concerned at how little rice we got but they made sure to continue feeling up the rice bowl for us and even filled up our to go box with rice. Reasonably priced as well! We paid about $45 for 2 of us (before tax). We've been multiple times and will continue to go back.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to eat. The meat is always tender and flavorful. The service is outstanding. The owner always has great food recommendations. I like to order based on the recommendations. But I like to try new foods. The ambiance is lacking a little due to the close proximity to others. Judging by the conversations around me most are on dates. Not that I was eavesdropping you just can't help but hear other's conversations. I highly recommend Bombay House if you find yourself in the Provo area. I promise you will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Ramdas S.

Yelp
Well love eating at Bombay House! We only go a coupe of times a year because the prices are a little more than we can afford more regularly. BUT, and it's a big BIG but, we have NEVER had a bad meal at Bombay House. In fact, the food has always,, always, ALWAYS beg absolutely the best! Friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere. It's our favorite please to eat. If you want an amazing taste of authentic Indian food, go to Bombay House today!

Kathy H.

Yelp
We had two of our favorites-lamb saag and coconut korma. The korma was very tasty, but the saag was probably the best I ever had. It was nicely spicy. Service is good and pretty fast considering how busy the restaurant was.
google avatar

Jill K.

Yelp
Run, don't walk. Literally. Get there early or you'll be waiting a while especially on weekends. Worth the wait though. Delicious, full of flavor, and friendly staff. Tikka Masala is where it's at
google avatar

Neal H.

Yelp
