Bombay Palace Restaurant

My first time ever having Indian food and Bombay Palace did not disappoint! We choose to eat family style and every dish we ordered was delicious! Their service was quick and they were almost checking in on us. Would go back again in a heartbeat!

This restaurant has been a go to restaurant of me and my family for well over 5 years. It's one of the best places to eat in Blantyre. Good service, good atmosphere, good people and most importantly good food. It's a very clean restaurant and also it feels very welcoming inside there. It's a very nice place to be with your family and friends celebrating occasions or just eating, it's a good place and I think it's one of the best resteraunts in the whole of Blantyre. The prices and portions are also very respectable.

The food was delicious. Butter chicken was excellent and so were the other dishes. Onion bhaji was a little disappointing, as it was individual layers of onion in batter fried one by one. What didn’t help is that we wanted it as a starter and it came after we were half way through our mains. Service was great, efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was lacking, there was only one other table for lunch on a Thursday.

I just loved the food so much that I returned next day having the same dish. Mixed vegatables with paneer.with plain naan. My best meal in Malawi. I am considering going again in Lilongwe 😅 tonight.

Don’t miss this place while in Blantyre. The food was excellent. We were a large group and ordered all kinds of dishes. Every single one was delicious. And the sizzling chocolate lava cake - it’s a must.

Restaurant with Indian manager. Cordial and professional. Vegetarian and Non vegetarian food available. Good for vegetarians.Only go to place in Blantyre which serves alcohol along with Vegetarian food. Have a seperate kitchen for both kinds. Timing issue- 10 pm they start pushing you to go although they behave differently with foreigners.

Was quite disappointed. Food was not as good as it used to be. We ordered medium spice and there wasnt any spice in the food. Everything lacked salt. Springrolls were decent Chicken had ligaments on some pieces making it hard to eat. Mocktails were nice.

My favourite restaurant in Blantyre. The rumali basket is great, the curry is delicious. Great to go with a big group, I highly recommend.
