Google
One of my favorite Indian restaurants in New Jersey! The flora sandwich is a must everything is so flavorful and we always enjoy our dishes here!

Google
This place is authentic and service is excellent .. ambiance is fun like has a Mumbai kinda theme..service was excellent .. they explained the menu . BUT food was very very spicy for my palate and also too much butter perhaps 🤔 I felt they should ask the spice level may be We ordered cheese Pav bhaji and masala cheese sandwich. This is worth a visit with customization of spice level

Google
Very tasty chats, Misal pav was tasty and spicy - almost mumbai-made authentic, The ambience is really clean, well-lit, has custom interiors with an auto, bangle wall and decorations. Price is a bit on the higher side but aligns to the clean and custom decorations.

Google
Aesthetic effort but underwhelming experience overall. The place tries hard to recreate the Bombay street food vibe, and to its credit, the ambience is certainly unique. The walls, music, and overall layout do give off a “Bombay nostalgia” feel—but the tables are placed extremely close together, which means you’ll likely end up hearing every word of the conversations around you. Expect a loud, crowded environment. The food presentation is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve scrolled through one too many Instagram reels—an overload of mayo, cheese, and sauces that feels more show than substance. If you enjoy over-the-top plating and fusion chaos, this will be your scene. If not, it may come off as excessive or gimmicky. Pricing is definitely on the higher side, especially considering the portion sizes and ingredients. Not great value for money, but the uniqueness makes it worth trying at least once, just for the novelty factor. The server was friendly and attentive, which helped the experience. However, the cashier or owner came off a bit rude and unwelcoming, which left a sour note at the end of the meal.

Google
Decor is interesting and fun. Food tasted good. Chai not recommended. They should not put the pink syrup on top of kulfi, it completely masked the real taste of kulfi. We asked for a side of cut onions to go with chole as usually they are served with it. We were charged more than $3 for like a half cut onion.

Google
Great option for vegetarian Indian food. Cozy place but they have decorated so well with aesthetic Indian culture and handicraft. Service is excellent and food is great too I definitely recommend this place to go and for repeated visits.

Google
We had ordered Chinese bhel, Chole Chatur and Pahadi sandwich. All the dishes were really good! Specially the Pahadi sandwich was yummy and huge in portion. Overall worth the visit. PC- they also have a paan

Yelp
After 3 years, I still give them 5 stars. - The food is still excellent. obviously, taste preferences vary from person to person, but this is still my go to Indian restaurant in the NY/NJ area. Very clean and welcoming staff helps the overall experience as well. For pure vegetarians, this place, as far as I am concerned is a must.

Yelp
The decor and all is good but we didn't like the veggie schezwan cheese frankie that we got from there.. tasted bit artificial and salty.. may go there to try rajkachori once

Yelp
We finally tried out this place after wanting to go here for a while. It turns out that they serve Indian street food, all vegetarian. Since we weren't too familiar with the names of the foods and were willing to try new things, Smith (one of the staff members there) was very helpful in making recommendations, all of which we enjoyed. The establishment was very clean, well lit, spacious, and smelled savory with a mixture of spices. The staff was also very friendly, too. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed the food, and will come back to try the other items on the menu.

Yelp
I enjoyed my experience at Bombaywala. The food came out fairly quickly in which I was impressed. I ordered dahi puri, Hariyali paneer tikka, and Dahl with naan. All dishes had a lot of flavor and tasted fresh. I would state however everything is a bit on the pricier side $15+ for appetizers and entrees. The interior is small but nicely decorated. I would return, thank you.
google avatar

Nidhi S.

Yelp
Our pav bhaji was loaded with raw garlic which made whole experience awful. Instead of two medium or large or regular samosas, it was three mini samosa. Dahi puri was only good. Paan was five dollar. Here everything is pricey and low quality. So here the customer is paying for ambience, decor, painting, table and chair. These miscellaneous things are added on the price list. After that one has to pay gratuity which is 18% on 3 or 3 plus. This place is a complete joke.

Yelp
Came for grocery shopping in the neighborhood and thought to give this one a try. We knew we would like to try some kind of chaat and when we asked for suggestions, the guy at the counter suggested this one but mentioned it might be too much for two people. Well we rolled our sleeves up and were ready to dig into it!! If you are foodies like me and Mr, then you'll be able to finish it up easily tasted great!!! The hot chhole tikki, the cool yogurt, spicy chutneys and crispy paapdi made our evening! Will be be back to try other items on the menu

Yelp
Very few tables available for dine in. Food was good. I've tried their frankies and cheese mayo vadapav. It was a good visit for desi Indian snack cravings.

Yelp
Tuesday night last week, my partner and I tried out Bombaywala & CO for dinner when we were in the area. I'm always on the look out for vegetarian options for us, so it was nice to find Bombaywala. We dined in. The place is too cute inside - with a vibrant and modern interior decor, with cool artwork and wall hangings (when we walked in, I was distracted by it all). So you go in, place your order at the counter, and then find a seat and the food is brought out to you. It's a casual dining experience with street food done-UP. The food that night was really delicious, and we marveled at the flavors and spicing. My partner loves Indian food, so he was over the moon. Here's what we ordered: - Garlic Naan - Samosa Chaat - Mutter Paneer - Tikka Paneer - a sweet mango drink We definitely plan on coming back here to try out other items on the menu. Note though: if you are hungry and want to fill up, it will cost you here because - while the food is delicious, the portions are smaller than normal (my partner: "I could eat 5 of these!" me thinking: *gulp* $$$). It's quality-over-quantity at Bombaywala. We will come back to treat ourselves to amazing flavors and some of the best vegetarian dishes we've had, but I couldn't realistically come out here to dine in or get takeaway on a daily. Bombaywala & CO - thumbs up and recommended!

Yelp
Went back to Bombaywala after a while to give it another try. But it was disappointing again. This time I tried the dahi Puri and Schezwan Paneer Cheese Frankie. Both items were over powered with onions. Every bite, onion would take over the taste. Also, dahi puri had too much of dahi (yogurt), it almost became a hassle to eat the puri properly. Was sad to see things haven't improved much. Probably not going to stop by again anytime soon.

Yelp
This is a very good spot for some delicious chats and lot of North Indian dishes. Love their pav bhaji, it's the best I have had around here. Pahadi grill sandwich is another favorite. We also tried the dahi puri which was good and I liked the grated ginger strands on it. Chole bature was good but I wasn't very happy with the chole. For the dessert we liked the royal faloda, it wasn't too sweet which was perfect. Jamoon with rabdi was also good. It is definitely pricey but food is really tasty and service is great. I would definitely recommend this spot if you want some good chats.

Yelp
Very disappointing food! Very bland and not authentic. Place is cramped . Good for non Indians trying Indian food

Yelp
Food- disgusting , stale, stingy, server Sumit or sounds like Sumeet was a noxious and entitled. Ambiance was "all reserved seating" on a Tuesday night at 7p with 2 people eating and 40 empty seats. Gave us a table next to the trash. Asked why and his words" you can leave if you want". Horrible experience all around. No respect for woman, kids or anyone tbh. I can't write enough bad things about this place- I truly wish bad for it for insulting my wife and my 3 year old daughter. The guy behind counter had a ton of bad reviews for rudeness and he beats them - he is a monster and the owner is ok with this? Wow just wow! My longest review and I see this guy again - only one will come out of that place

Pallavi S.

Yelp
Pallavi Sheth Very very delicious food Highly recommend.. Must visit and enjoy amazing food and great service and staff.

Yelp
During our visit to NJ over the long weekend, we decided to do carry out from this place. My brother warned me that the prices are insanely high, but the food is good. Let me start with the prices. It's crazy high. The dabeli cost $15. The kulcha/channa was $21. A Frankie or Kati Roll is $15. I'm from VA and there is an authentic Gujarati restaurant there that serves amazing Dabeli for $9 (two in an order). In general, the price is really high for each dish. So be aware before you order. Now to the food. Here is what we ordered: - Dabeli: each order has 2 dabelis. This was delicious. - Frankie with schezwan noodles: this was ok. I liked the idea of having noodles in a wrap rather than just channa or paneer. But the paratha wrap was too oily for me. - Amratsari chola kulcha: loved the chola...very much like the one you get in Delhi. But the kulcha was not a kulcha but more like a paratha. I've had authentic kulchas in other restaurants. This was not a kulcha. But delicious regardless. - Misal Paav: my hubby liked it (he is from Nasik where this dish originates). I found it extremely spicy. Overall, the food is good and I wanted to give it a try. Do I feel the food is worth the high prices? Not really. The area is filled with amazing Indian restaurants with normal dish prices. So I'll probably try other places. But I do recommend trying it out for sure.

Yelp
Food is pretty good but why is it so expensive. Dinner for a small family of 4 was 203 dollars with a 20 percent gratuity included. A sandwich is 23 dollars. Food was good otherwise
google avatar

Anjani K.

Yelp
Food is good, but service is not up to the level you are paying for. They are charging so much money to serve you on paper plate.

Yelp
We almost didn't go to this place based on some of the low-rating reviews. But thank god we did! This is why we don't make decisions solely based on reviews. I like to have a hands-on experience of each place prior to building any notions. Everyone's experience is different and ours was amazing!! I am not very wordy but I will say this - we loved everything we ordered! The food was so good, we had to go twice (Lunch and Dinner)! The only thing I would make a note of is the Bombay Style Pav Bhaji. We did not like it very much ONLY because we were not from that region. So, I would suggest ordering any other items except for this IF you are NOT familiar with the taste of Mumbai's Pav Bhaji. Everything else we ordered was extremely delicious and super mouth-watering! We also had a chance to speak with the Owners and the Chef. They were also so nice and amazing! Thank you very much guys for making our day! We would love to keep coming to your place as many times as we can!

Rushabh S.

Yelp
This place is not worth the salt. Very pricey and customer service isn't basically non existent. You have to go up to order, clear your own table, and food is sub par. No way I'm going back to this place

Yelp
Our quest for the ultimate indian street food ended here! The interior is nicely lit up and quirky. Their standout is the Frankie and we have never had such a great frankie in india too! We had 1. Paneer cheese schezwan frankie - delicious with a numerous paneer chunks, amul cheese and schezwan sauce filling, the frankie was flaky and crispy. 2. Veg. Triple schezwan - combination of schezwan rice, noodles and spicy sauce - it wasn't as spicy as we expected it to be but overall nice flavor 3. Manchow soup - the soup tasted okay, a good combination of sour and spicy 4. Dahi Puri - OMG the pani puris were so soft and crispy, the filling contains dahi, potato, onions and chutneys. One suggestion to them would be to extend their hours to be open after 9 PM so that more people can enjoy the street food later in the night.

Yelp
My favourite place in NJ!!! Love everything there. The items and the vibe is exceptional. I have been there a couple of times now and would recommend this to everyone.

Yelp
We have been coming to Bombay wala since the restaurant opened. Over the last few years the service has gone down the drain and the rudeness has increased to next level and that comes from the owner himself. Today we ordered Schezwan paneer frankie for pick up. When we picked up we assumed order was correct and went to our car. When we opened it in the car I started to take a bite and realized that there was no paneer in it. We noticed they had given us soggy Aloo Frankie instead that did not taste good. I took one of them to show him and told them we clearly said paneer. The owner instead of accepting his mistake denied the fact that he mis heard. I asked him to replace it and he said since you took a bite I can't take it back. So if I had not taken a bite, would he have taken it and sold it to someone else ? He rudely said he can't do anything and it is your problem. I was shocked to see how do they run a place where customer service means nothing. The food is expensive and not consistent so overall I would say don't waste your money and they have lost us as their customer

Yelp
As someone who is born and raised in Mumbai, there aren't a lot of Mumbai style food spots around. I came across this place accidentally about a year ago and I'm so grateful that I did! Walking in, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and all the Knick-knacks made me really nostalgic. Chaat is one my favorite food to indulge in and this place nails it with every single dish. I've been a regular here and stop by at least once a week for my chaat and pav bhaji fix. The quantity is amazing and the food is delicious... Not sure why this place doesn't have many more stars. It's five star all around! Kudos

Mashal M.

Yelp
Pros: 1. Very clean 2. Beautiful interior, seemed to be inspired by the city it's named after 3. Service was nice enough 4. Dahi poori: delicious and for that reason alone I'd definitely go back again 5. Samosa chaat: standard, mango lassi: standard, tea: standard, fries: good Cons: 1. Pricier$$$ for street food type of cuisine, especially for the quantity they serve isn't entree size. Perhaps, they need to increase the portion size. 2. Amritsari cholay bhaturay: not worth the steep $22 for two bhaturay and not so appetizing choolay. I've had better at other places. 3. Rabri falooda: underwhelming Overall: its a cute and trendy place close to home that I won't mind going every once in a while. Perhaps, next time I'll explore more stuff on the menu to give it another shot.

Yelp
We decided to go to this place just by looking at above avg reviews on yelp. But I am super glad we did. The food, especially the chat was really good. Samosa Chole Chaat was very authentic. We also really liked the Pav bhaji. The misal was a spicy treat. Super delicious!

Yelp
I am super disappointed from my first visit to this restaurant While the food did taste pretty good, not top notch but was up there, the vibe, the service, the prices, the attitude of the guy behind the counter, the mandatory insanely high tip (take into consideration that we have to order at the counter & lift & shift the used dishes/plastic ware to the garage can), make this place so un- Bombay!!! For some one who grew up in the heart of Amchi Mumbai & always so proud of the city I grew up in, this place does little justice to the wonderful city of Bombay! Seriously, we have to pay for water bottles cos the restaurant refuses to serve free water nor let us bring in our own water bottles!!!! To top it off the attitude of the owner who constantly wore an unfriendly disposition & raised his voice at my wife because she happened to bring in a water bottle!!! All of the above is so unlike the Bombay vibe. The essence of the Bombay culture is to have a good time & more importantly ensure others around you have a good time! Whatever happened to "time pass" the Bombay way?! I am even more disheartened cos my wife now is shocked & disappointed cos she was like this is so unlike you & the way you always sang happy tunes of Bombay! God willing, the owners will take this feedback in a positive light and address the issues ...for in true Bombay spirit there are always multiple chances we give ourselves until we get it right Love & good spirits Anil
google avatar

Andalib S.

Yelp
Interesting menu but quality of food is very average. Decor and ambiance is commendable, that's where the positives end. Almost non-existent service and prices are thru the roof. I can go to any other restaurants at towns around in Bergen county and have better quality food for less.
google avatar

J J.

Yelp
Food was delicious, server was friendly, and the chef was attentive to our questions. If you're expecting someone to wait on you constantly, this ain't the place. However, I'd totally go back. Loved our experience. Naan - light and crispy Dry veg manchurian - my favorite Veg. Schezwan hakka noodles - tastes like delicious lo mein Masala chai - tastes straight out of india Mango Lassi - not overly sweet, with a nice tang
google avatar

Nikhil P.

Yelp
An age old craving for chaat was unexpectedly fulfilled by this spacious place. Dabeli was great. dahi chaat up to the mark. Amritsari batoore was special. And to top it a very well decorated and mouth watering falooda. All in all a great place to quench your thirst for CHAAT

Sergio A.

Yelp
Food was tasty and experience interesting. The one disappointing thing was the lack of a descriptive menu! You are invited to scan a QR code to view the menu, but the link is to a third-party online ordering site with just dish names and no descriptions. Unless you know all of the dishes, you are left to repeatedly ask the staff "what is this?" which is awkward. Owners please make this improvement!

Vaibhav P.

Yelp
When we tried this place for the first time, it was really good, over the last several times the quality of the food has degraded heavily. Most the food is overly salted and heavy on oils or butter, a few bites and you barely feel like eating the rest. The prices of each item here is ridiculously high. $25 for a soggy sandwich is outrageous. We found a stapler pin in one of the item while eating, the owner asked to replace the item but since we ate most of it we asked no but the bare minimum expectation is they don't charge us for that item. They charged us and we had to ask explicitly to take out. The service has been okay lately but it had been horrible past few times, done with this place once and for all.
google avatar

Binal T.

Yelp
This place is way overpriced and the only reason it does have customers is because of less Indian street food places in the area. The next nearest Indian street food place would be either Jersey city or Edison or Ridgewood. We have ordered takeout from here on multiple occasions and have mostly tried all their items on the menu. I wouldn't deny that their indo Chinese is better than the rest of the items on the menu. We have tried their schezwan rice, usal misal, vada pav, pav bhaji, Frankie. The only thing which was good of all the items ordered was schezwan rice which had noodles, Manchurian and rice combo in it. Vada pav was too dry for my taste along with the vada being too spicy with just green chilies in it, pav bhaji was ok not the greatest, usal misal was mostly floating in pool of oil and was super spicy. I might order if I have terrible indo Chinese craving and all other stores near me are closed.

Anna A.

Yelp
The place is clean and the decorations are nice. Those are the 2 stars this place receives - that's it and that's all. The food is small portions, overpriced and there's no service at all -- you order at a front desk get food on paper plates and clean it up yourself. For the price ($8 naan, $14 for an order of samosas...which is 2 samosas -- that's $7 for ONE samosa, $8 for a half filled, tiny sizes lassi) -- at the very least the service should be impeccable - and it is definitely not. With places like Benares in Wyckoff or Downtown Dhaba in Westwood - there's no reason at all to stop in here.
google avatar

Deepthi S.

Yelp
Expensive. Small portion size. Food tastes ok. I ordered schezwan paneer Frankie and sev puri. Chai tasted like latte. I would not recommend!!

Lakshmi B.

Yelp
Terrible food! We came in the second time when we were in the Paramas area and were craving for something indian! Wrong decision yet again! Leaving the restaurant now paying an unreasonable price and sad food. The chole bature was so bad, the half cooked chole was in a thick black bitter gravy edible only because of the bature. To pay 20 bucks for it , served on paper plates is beyond ridiculous. The schezwan Frankie was tomato ketchup and generous amul cheese was not even worth 2 dollars in my opinion. We are the kind of people like many who will pay anything for good quality and tasty food. This place sucks overall and stays only to attract people who don't have another Indian place to go to! We have decided, we will not come here again. Our option would be a fast food if hunger strikes again when we are in the Paramas area.

Akanksha C.

Yelp
Really a very good restaurant. Me and my friends drove 40 mints to try out this restaurant and it was worth every mile :) Definitely 5 stars for the interiors and food. Hara bhara kebab and Dahi puri is a must try. We also tried Kulcha Chole, Pav Bhaji and Aloo paratha. Being a Mumbaikar I can definitely say it met all my street food cravings. Rabdi gulab jamun was delicious too PS. Do ask the owner about his cute little love story

Assaf L.

Yelp
Very very disappointing experience. To start I'll say that the food is good but that's where it ends. There is no service whatsoever food is served with disposable dishes and price is on a whole different level we were 4 people and paid $220 for 2 starters 3 main courses and rice. On top they add 20% service for.......you guessed it right no service whatsoever you even need to get up and place your order in the front desk.
google avatar

Ankur A.

Yelp
Loved the place, well decorated and it gives you mumbai feel. I liked the food as well. Prices are on higher side but I don't mind paying extra for that pure Indian taste . 1 thing I didn't like was, We went there with our 2yr old, and the lady there asked us to keep the baby quiet and seated as other guests might not like it, to which i said but didn't like it, there was only 1 more guest at that time. So less stars for that.
google avatar

Sona K.

Yelp
You might be wondering why I gave only two stars. So let's get into it, for see the place is very pricey for Bombay Street food. It taste nothing like Bombay straight food and the flavors are very bland. I feel like they are charging their customers for the expensive Decour that they have put through a underwhelming menu. There is no customer service, you just have to walk up and get your food and sit down. Asking for anything afterwards is inconvenient. We got to food items from the menu, the bill was not good at all. The sandwich was OK but it's kind of hard to mess up a sandwich. I hope some of these reviews that people are leaving will be inspiring for the staff to change up some of their policies and procedures. I feel like this place has a great potential if they get some of these pain points corrected. FYI this restaurant is located at a weird location. It was very hard to find.

Bijal P.

Yelp
Great food. Worst owner. That man is a complete disaster. I have done a lot of take outs there. Food has been great but the guy in the front is absolutely horrible. He has no manners at all. He has no clue on how to treat customers. It would be advisable if he removes himself from the front desk and puts someone else who knows how to treat customers. I had ordered just 1 order of dabeli and I called to request if he could expedite. His ridiculous answer was No. A tiny watered down container of green chutney costs 2 bucks which is down right pathetic. It's about time someone opens a competition here in the Paramus area and throws him out. If you're the owner and reading it please become more human and customer friendly. Please take clear feedback that the sun won't shine too long if you keep up with your behaviors
google avatar

Wei H.

Yelp
Love the decorations inside. Very pop and contemporary design. Food is good, strong flavor! Self service to order and they will bring the food to you. A little pricey but overall great place.

Ruchi M.

Yelp
Food is good but I felt that that the staff is not polite especially the one front who takes orders. Over priced for a street food place and take out sort of place. They sneaked in 18% gratuity for a party of 5 when they don't take orders at the table ( only at the counter), then serve in disposable plates and don't even clear the table. This kind of behaviors should be reported as it just damages Indian reputation.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
I'm not a huge fan of Indian vegetarian food; in fact I tend to stray away from it. I was hungry, and I wanted to try something new, so I chose Bombaywala for its close proximity to me. I ordered samosas and a vada pav. The samosas were 3 for $6, and on the small side. Nothing amazing to report flavor wise. The vada pav was great. It was my first time trying it, and I have absolutely nothing to compare it to. It was 2 for $12, and I shared it with a family member. The potato patty was flavorful and meshed well with the chutneys. Im glad the sandwich wasn't dripping with chutney, or else it would have been too heavy and overwhelming. I thought it was supposed to come with cheese, but I guess not. What stops me from going back is the pricing. It's a common theme from other Yelp/Google reviews, but everything is really pricey for the portion sizes. I read a comment from the owner (in response to the pricing) that they only use unprocessed, fresh ingredients and cook everything right when it's ordered. That's lovely, but you're eating street food which isn't really the healthiest thing in the first place. The prices or the portion sizes definitely have to be looked at in order for a strong customer base.

Yelp
Must say I am a fan! Loved everything about this place starting with the food, the cleanliness, the decor, the people and last but not least the front desk girl who recommended the food. I ordered the cheese and garlic naan which was so amazing I placed another order. The cheese in the naan is an exclusive Indian cheese which is imported. The Hará Bhara Kabab was definitely one of my favorites, crunchy with spinach, garlic and cheese filling with some spice on it. Also ordered the Vegetable Schezwan Hakka Noddles which was also very tasteful and filled with spices that swirled all over your mouth. Totally Amazing! Oh and not to mention, their home made sodas, the Galabo soda which was Rose infused with small flowers in it. Yes real flowers in the soda. That, I ended ordering 3. Became my absolute fav right away. My kid ordered a Raw Mango which was made from a Mango candy from India. Oh and don't forget to try their coffee, very creamy with a hint of cinnamon. Bottom line, they have won a customer and will definitely be coming back. Too bad we had two phones and they were both dead. But will def take pics the next time we go back

Yelp
A must visit place for any one looking for authentic indian street food I must say. We tried their dahi puri, Schezwan Paneer Cheese Frankie, Vada Pav, manchow soup. Everything was made in an authentic indian way. I liked their quirky interiors as well.

Yelp
I usually have to drive about 30 minutes to get Bombay street food, so I decided to try this restaurant that opened up about 8 months back. I rarely give less than 3 stars for a review but here are my reasons. Extremely high priced for the quality and the quantity of food. I decided to order a Veg Manchow soup $6 to get a taste of the indo Chinese side of the menu and a Pav Bhaji $14 to get a taste of the Bombay street food side. The soup was tasty but the vegetables were kinda half cooked. It was a small bowl of soup for the price. The Pav Bhaji was more like a tomato paste with no frills like cilantro etc, had half a lime and 2 teaspoons of raw onion. It came with 2 bread bun's. The taste of the bhaji was was overtaken by the taste of the preservatives in the bread. (At least serve fresh bread) I requested another 2 buns and was charged $3 for that. Food better than this is available at half the price, granted one has to drive another 20 minutes for that. The restaurant decor is great and it is clean. Self service except that there is someone that delivers food to the table. I had hoped the food would have been worth it since it is a 15 minute drive from where I live. But the decision to overprice the food and serve average food will eventually lead to its closing down. I know that the rents in Bergen county for restaurant space is not cheap, so I have nothing against charging a high price, but at least improve the quality of the food so one feels its worth it to go back. My review is based on ordering 2 Items and I hope the other items on the menu won't disappoint if I ever eat here again......

Yelp
We were in a mood to have some chaat and heard about this newly opened Indian street food place. Vibrant interiors, lovely touch with the local train station themed tables. The menu is quite interesting and we would have ordered more things if it was a bigger group. We ordered Masala pav - really good Schezwan paneer cheese frankie - slightly oily but tastewise excellent. Sev puri - Decent. Could be spicier. Love that they put kacha aam. Chutneys were fresh, felt homemade. Shahi rabdi - Saffron rabdi was the perfect amount of sweetness and richness. Cons - As other reviews mention, it is a bit on a pricier side. Definitely coming back to try out more items off the menu.

Yelp
I am so happy to have this place open very close to my home. The decor brings back some great memories of Bombay - the place I grew up. We tried a crispy crunch grill sandwich, a schezuan paneer cheese frankie and a missal pav. All very generous proportions and very tasty. Chetan said he will be adding dosas to his already comprehensive menu and I am really looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu in the coming weeks. A must visit place for any one craving Bombay street food!!

Yelp
This is the third time that my wife and I have gone to this small restaurant in small shopping center in Paramus. I am certainly no expert in Indian street food, but I love Indian food in general and this place is unique and offers all kinds of foods not seen in the typical North Indian restaurant that is found in the suburbs of New York City. We enjoyed the Frankies especially. The Manchurian Gobi dry was terrific. Prices tend to be a little on the high side thus the four stars. This is kind of a self-service restaurant where you bring your order to the front counter and then the food is brought to you by a waiter. Silverware is all plastic and the plates are made of compressed paper so this is hardly a fancy place, but the food is absolutely delicious!
