Yelp
Tuesday night last week, my partner and I tried out Bombaywala & CO for dinner when we were in the area. I'm always on the look out for vegetarian options for us, so it was nice to find Bombaywala.
We dined in. The place is too cute inside - with a vibrant and modern interior decor, with cool artwork and wall hangings (when we walked in, I was distracted by it all).
So you go in, place your order at the counter, and then find a seat and the food is brought out to you. It's a casual dining experience with street food done-UP. The food that night was really delicious, and we marveled at the flavors and spicing. My partner loves Indian food, so he was over the moon. Here's what we ordered:
- Garlic Naan
- Samosa Chaat
- Mutter Paneer
- Tikka Paneer
- a sweet mango drink
We definitely plan on coming back here to try out other items on the menu. Note though: if you are hungry and want to fill up, it will cost you here because - while the food is delicious, the portions are smaller than normal (my partner: "I could eat 5 of these!" me thinking: *gulp* $$$). It's quality-over-quantity at Bombaywala. We will come back to treat ourselves to amazing flavors and some of the best vegetarian dishes we've had, but I couldn't realistically come out here to dine in or get takeaway on a daily.
Bombaywala & CO - thumbs up and recommended!
