Best restaurant I have been to in Ramsgate and rounded off our stay in the town nicely. We were warmly greeted and advised that there would be a wait for food as everything is made to order. Even though we were at the restaurant for over 3 hours, it was a very satisfying way to spend an evening. Bread, balsamic vinegar and tapenade was served after ordering and then a refreshing palette cleanser followed the starter. To round off the meal, we were offered a complimentary shot of dessert wine. My meal, pictured below, included French style mussels, 2-way duck with confit potatoes, poached pear and red cabbage and to finish, white chocolate and raspberry brûlée. My colleagues thoroughly enjoyed lamb kidneys, lobster cocktail, 28-day aged steak, monk fish wrapped in pancetta with a back paella, chocolate brownie and a French cheese board. We enjoyed reasonably priced red and white french wines which complimented our food choices. Our next visit to Ramsgate will definitely incorporate a trip to Bon Appetite!

This is now my favourite restaurant in Ramsgate. I couldn't recommend it enough. Welcoming place, very cosy. Waitress was lovely and the food out of this world

Had an amazing meal on Wednesday evening in Bon Appetit. The views and location are lovely, the ambiance is inviting and relaxing and the staff very helpful and polite. The meal was spectacular, the freshest produce I've had in memory, fresh mussels were cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. I had Lamb for main that was cooked just right and accompanied by the best Jus I've ever tasted and beautiful veg. I have to recommend this to others and will be making frequent visits to Bon Appetit in future! Don't miss out.

This has to be the best restaurant for miles. The food is of the highest quality and it is obvious the Chef is so talented. Menu is varied and will suit everyone. Plus the daily specials. Sit inside or out as we did and enjoy the ambience. Service is excellent. Altogether an experience you won't forget. Suggest you book as not to be disappointed. Very highly recommend.

Delicious food. Best ever lobster dish with a tarragon brandy sauce. Chef was very accommodating in creating a dish off menu for my 7 year old. Lovely wine, fair price and great location.

Booked for my wife's birthday on a Saturday. Had to book fairly late as that is all they could offer- fair enough. We arrive to find the menu on offer has none of the options she could eat ( 2 standard main and none of the 6 veg options) that the on line menu states. If you advertise online it has to be reasonably accurate! Booking was so late we couldn't get anywhere else. Staff were vaguely apologetic but considering when I booked I was told it was so limited, there was a choice of several tables. Apparently the online menu is to give an idea of what they do- not good enough from my ruined evening perspective! I don't normally post reviews etc but this is not a cheap restaurant and we weren't prepared to pay the prices for a major compromise.

I eat here quite often. The chef is prepared to go off menu if he has ingredients in to vary something for a specific taste although the menu is varied enough to suit most and will vary from season to season. The food is always freshly prepared, something that even upmarket restaurants in London often do not do, pre-preparing a lot of the dishes that they offer, and generous, none of the nouvelle cuisine here...The ambiance is also very pleasent being divided into two seperate rooms seperated by a bar area, and with fabulous views out over the marina towards the channel and France. In the summer (or winter if the diner wishes to sit under the gas heaters) pavement dining is also available, a particular delight for Sunday lunch.I highly reccommend it. As an update, in a rare visit back to Blighty, I ate here again with friends. Still as good as ever,Mark on top form, ambiance excellent. I rate it moderate price, in London you would pay three times as much for this food, inirrationality four times as much. Well worth a visit

Excellent food and service in a lovely little French restaurant. Their website us misleading as there is no fixed price menu, but we were happy to pay more once we saw the interesting foid on offer and thought it good value for money once we tasted the food. It'should very popular so you should book a table.

Yelp
I have visited this restaurant on 3 occasions within the last 6 years, and just have to say the food is superb. Totally recommend visiting this restaurant if you ever find yourself in the area.

Yelp
A lovely selection of starters, mains and desserts were accompanied by bread and olives to start and a palette cleanser inbetween our starter and main as well as a lovely bottle of wine recommended by our server. Service is great, food is absolutely delicious and location and premises is fantastic. If you are visiting Bon Appetit and eating from their everyday menu, a main will set you back about £16-18 so if you are trying it out for the first time I recommend trying one of their festive or special menus they put on which at £25 for three courses is a great bargain!
