Bon Bistro & Bakery

Stopped by for lunch, ended up coming back 3 times. Fantastic service and excellent food and drink. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place. Nice food. Sandwiches, omelettes, etc. Grilles cheese sandwich and fries were really good. Reasonably good coffee too. Nice place to stop on a drive to/from Eureka, CA. Very nice staff. They close by 2 PM - only breakfast and lunch. Found some old timers at the restaurant - they were talking about President Eisenhower and serving in the Korean war.

We stopped at noon, and ordered grilled ham and cheese, and Eggs O'Brien. The food was ready in 10 minutes, and was excellent. Not fast food, and big portions. Very nice workers. I would stop here again if in the area.

The bistro is cool little spot, worth a stop even if you're just passing by on the the way to someplace else, and want a good cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and a good latte. Unfortunately, it wasn't lunch when we passed through, so I can't comment on the food. Another advantage that it has, is that it's an easy stop off the the freeway - the main drag of Garberville is a straight shot starting at the freeway at one side, and ending at the freeway on the other - so it's not really out of the way like some of the other towns along 101.

We always enjoy our meals here. Outstanding and happy service with a smile. The cheesesteak sandwich is really delish. People watching in Garberville is always entertaining too. Great baked goods, coffee drinks, breakfast, and lunch. I recommend to not be in a hurry when dining here. Kitchen has one cook who hussels, and it can take awhile to get your food, but it is worth it. We all need to slow down sometimes, and Bon Bistro is a nice place to sit for a spell.

I think this place is far superior to ANY other in town. The food, the service, the atmosphere. These are super nice people who work hard and care about the quality of food and service and it shows!! Just a note to Hazel Lo, cause your review is not accurate. As an outside observer, I will tell you that I WAS in the Bistro when the lady behind the counter asked the girl "where is the rest of your shirt?" and she left in a huff. You must be low to try to use this business as a forum for petty little girl B*LLS**T. These people are the most professional I have encountered in town, and we've been here a long time. Sounds like a personal vendetta against someone specific to me. You little girls need to find something more positive to do with your time! Maybe if your parents taught you how to behave like ladies you wouldn't have people call you out when you leave home half naked. I can tell you from personal experience as a mother, NO ONE WANTS TO SEE IT and my kids certainly don't need to see it and I was glad she left so I didn't have to tell my kids to stop staring at her! And she was a tad bit overweight to be dressed like that anyhow

My girl and I love this cafe! We get the breakfast sandwich with bacon on a jalapeno and cheddar bagel! The jalapeno gives it the right amount of heat. And their coffee is excellent!
