Tucked away at the corner of Winston Churchill Blvd and Dundas in Mississauga (3015 Winston Churchill Blvd), BON Korean Restaurant is the kind of cozy, family-run spot that feels like a warm hug from Korean home cooking. From the moment you step in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. It’s laid-back, quiet, and perfect for a relaxed meal without the hustle of busier spots.
We started with the classics: a generous spread of banchan (those delightful little side dishes) that kept getting refilled—crisp kimchi, seasoned beansprouts, and pickled veggies that were fresh and punchy. The seafood pancake (haemul pajeon) was a standout appetizer: crispy on the edges, loaded with squid and veggies, and perfectly savory.
For mains, the JAJANGMYEON warms you from the inside out—pure comfort on a chilly day. The Dolsot Bibimbap sizzled dramatically in its stone bowl, with perfectly crispy rice at the bottom, vibrant veggies, bulgogi beef, and a fried egg on top. Mix it all with the gochujang sauce, and it’s an explosion of flavors and textures!
We couldn’t resist the Yangnyeom Chicken—crispy fried chicken glazed in that addictive sweet-spicy sauce. It was juicy, flavorful, and generously portioned. Portions overall are huge, and everything tasted fresh and authentic, like it was made with care.
