"Next to Five Points, there’s Bon Boutique. The owners, Bonnie and Crystal, are the nicest mother-daughter duo (you’ll end up having a 20-minute conversation with them). They have an amazing sense of curation and stock their store full of things you wouldn’t find anywhere else."

I live far away from Bon, so discovered it online. I have made many purchases and Bon’s customer service is unmatched. My favorite thing at Bon is the tightly curated beautiful clothes. Makers I might otherwise not have heard of (eg Pipsqueak Chapeau, Une Heures, Grisal). Dreamy fabrics and fresh, chic, often unexpected designs. All packaged with care and delivered promptly. And I haven’t had to return items for ill fit because the descriptions are quite specific and the sizing info accurate. I hope to visit in person one day!

I absolutely love this boutique! The carefully curated range of handmade products is truly special, with a perfect blend of beauty, sustainability, and creativity. It's clear how much thought goes into every item, and I especially adore the clothing designs—they're stunning and so unique! Whether you're looking for a meaningful gift or a treat for yourself, this shop is a treasure trove of inspiring finds. Highly recommend stopping by—you won't be disappointed!

I just love this place. funny, interesting items are scattered throughout the store. the clothing is beautiful, and there is no finer craftsmanship out there in ready to wear clothing. who knew I needed little mushrooms on silver pipe cleaners? perfect for my Norfolk pine. thank you for such a great shop.

If a place could somehow embody the life and times of Georgia O’Keeffe, this is that place. The day I was there I purchased an irresistible Moroccan straw hat, a Tucson perfume which reminds me of long walks in the low desert and a container full of plastic cacti. Pick up a chai iced tea next door after you’re done and your afternoon is complete.

Summer 2023 is going to be hot! Temperature wise and style wise. I ordered a hand-woven Moroccan sun hat from Bon. It arrived quickly and was safely packed. Even included a lovely hand-written thank you note. Can’t wait to wear the hat. It fits perfectly! Bring it on, Summer! I’m ready.

I am offering my experience here in hopes that the owners/clerks will respond with concern, compassion, and humility. I am a woman of color and I was watched closely and followed by one of the store clerks. I was perusing the shop, touching items, and placing them back in their place. As I made my way to the back of the store, the clerk started following and fixing the things I touched. I began to test my observation by picking up items (pencil cases, shirts, stuffed animals) and placing them back as I found them. Without fail, the clerk followed closely behind and re-fixed the items I had just touched. While this was happening, another white woman began walking behind us, feeling and picking up items. However, the clerk only readjusted the things I touched. I experienced a type of racial micro-aggression, whether intentional or unintentional. It has been a couple of months since this incident, but it still bothers me. As difficult as it is to receive a criticism like this, my hope in sharing this review is that the owners/clerks reflect on their biases and strive to improve.

I have been a customer of Bon for at least 20 years and have been delighted to watch this shop emerge as a world-class, novel and completely refreshing space with items gathered locally and nationally/internationally with true style and deep love for fine design and craft. I have never found anything like Bon, it is a unique treasure amazingly in amazing Tucson and I always feel welcome here - I sing its praises!

This was such a pleasant surprise to walk into in Tucson, AZ. My girlfriend (who is writing this review) was so excited to find an aesthetic that was both sophisticated and welcoming. The selection and quality of items in this store is unsurpassed by few in the world, and each is a gem that you would want to keep forever. Well worth the visit and the purchase!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Bon is one of those places that you need to make time to shop at. It's a treasure trove of carefully selected and curated items. Bon boutique has been in business for a long time and it's run by a lovely mother and daughter team. Go there to find unique specialty items ranging from books to handmade jewelry, stationary, pillows, glassware, select clothing items, and more. I love stopping in to see their book selection. Their holiday ornaments are also very sweet. My husband recently bought me a beautiful pair of garden shears and scissors. Make a morning of it and start with breakfast at the Five Points Market and then head two doors down to Bon and peruse this gorgeous gem!

Yelp
Stunning. Inspiring. Quality. All things lovely. Beautiful gifts to give. I was in awe visiting the store and inspired to create! We walked out with a few ornaments & a pair of candles. Service was kind and personal. Store is definitely more expensive than your average gift shop / speciality house ware store but worth visiting and taking home a little treasure.

Yelp
everything about this lovely specialty shop is not for everyone!! The owners shop in Paris and New York for the most unique and hard to ever find top of the line soaps, cotton blouses, gorgeous wool rugs, dresses and cashmere coats, framed paintings, socks, super special garden whimsiez, and the most yummie candles!!! This is a short list from memory... although the sq. ft of the shop is small, you will want to give yourself under an hour to absorb everything ....and the BOOKS!!!!!! omgsh!!!!! I have never seen anything that they offer in any other shop.... unless you visit Paris!!!! oooooooo.... and the little boiled wool stuffed animals!!!! ooooooooo.... kitchen ware, and BEAUTIFUL table ware!!!! oooooooo... jewelry!!!! Respect the beauty of the shop and keep the kids inhand!!!! Thank you Bon and "the girls "for sharing your Camelot with everyone!!! Sherry Moseley Del Mar Ca.

Yelp
This is a beautiful shop. Filled with special items from New York, Paris, and other areas, these are objects/gifts you can't easily find. Owner is super friendly and personable. Wish we had this shop in my town. I would be a frequent customer. Online/web purchases are also available.

Yelp
2 Bonnie's and 2 C/Krystals at a wonderful store in Tucson. Bonnie's are on the left at a store named BON!

Yelp
Fabulous well-curated shop, we had the best visit and Genny was so helpful. We love everything we bought, which included silk dresses, dish towels from France, wooden spoons etc. We got home from vacation and it was like Christmas unpacking everything. So much fun !!!

Yelp
As a frequent patron of the five points restaurant, I've always been intrigued by the store next door; Bon. It seems like a world out of place with its surroundings. Walking into the store you'll find the first layer of defense against the casual observer. A grouping of yard ornaments & succulents may trick you into a belief that you are simply in a nice outdoor section of a chain store. But a few paces further & you will find collections of soaps, quilts, clothing, & books carefully chosen to match the French countryside ambience the store is so desperate to capture. All is well if you've made it this far; the store has drawn you in... Then it all comes crashing down once the store owner lays eyes on you. Judgement, anger, and superiority is all you will find from the staff. If you aren't sushed or critiqued, you will definitely be eye rolled. In a world of curated online market places much more unique & crafted to each persons tastes, why would I ever put up with lining the pockets of someone so utterly unwelcoming. What a poor representation of the small business culture of this city & shameful jaded picture of the French culture they so desperately want to share.

Yelp
Beautiful space and friendly service! Stop in here for an assortment of clothing, trinkets, cards and so much more!

Yelp
One of my favorite shops! At least online. I can't say that I have physically been to the Tucson brick and mortar, but I love ordering from this unique little boutique all the way from my home in Rhode Island. Every time I have received a package from them (which is always wrapped beautifully, btw), I have received a nice handwritten note which really actually is a nice treat in the digital age. The website is accessible and well-done, and their products are timeless and meant to last. It is clear the owners put a lot of care and thought into choosing their stock, and how much they seem to love Tucson and incorporate its aesthetic into their business. Makes me want to visit! I suppose it may sound silly reviewing a website on a yelp page, but hey, I suppose it may be helpful since we're unable to be out and about as much in the time of pandemic. Thanks so much, Bon!

Yelp
I stopped into Bon tonight and picked up some of these hand made glass Christmas ornaments they are super cool, just like the kind from the 1940s we used to hang on our family Christmas tree. They have a lot of other small gift ideas as well as clothing, soaps, and textiles they bring in from France and around the world they even have some custom designed clothing pieces that are white cotton and made in France as well. If you are looking for gift ideas for your girlfriend or mom this is the place to shop. Its located right next to Five points market which is another great place to stop in and get a bite to eat. Yelp
Late review, but always a must when in Tucson. Such a beautifully curated shop with many treasures to be found. The staff could be a bit more welcoming though. During each of my visits, I don't think I've ever interacted/have been greeted by with whoever was working that day.

Yelp
What a cute and eclectic place! I don't even know what to call this type of store, but it carries adorable greeting cards, soaps, trinkets, succulents, furniture, pillows, throws, clothes, and shoes. I would buy everything if I weren't a student. I appreciate a store with a good selection of gift items. Bon is a welcome addition to downtown.

Yelp
It is a shame that some people have had less than enjoyable experiences in Bon. I love this store! I have been back over and over. Sometimes just to look, other times I buy some of the most unique items which you will not see in coming and going as wearable art, beautiful jewelry, very French and fun things to bring about smiles from visitors in your home for sure. I have worked in retail so many times in my life, and it is unfortunate that some children will destroy a thing before a kind comment can even come from your mouth. Others, who are obviously trying to be well behaved get the low end of the stick sometimes, because things in this kind of shop can be so easily destroyed with a accidental knock over or touching with sticky fingers. I have found the owner and her emplyees actaully so fun and friendly and helpful, that I had to give a counter balance to what was being said in a negative way, so people would still come in. This is one of my favorite stores in Tucson AZ. Everything is unique and top notch. If I ever just need a little get away for browsing or a special gift, this is my go-to store! Juliana A.

Yelp
Okay I know this isn't going to be a popular review because Bon is an incredibly unique and cool little store in downtown Tucson (of which we need more). I went out of my way a few weeks ago to visit this store, which I follow on Insta and have heard SO much about from my friends. Unfortunately, my experience was upsetting. Let me start by saying that I brought my kids (6 and 15). They were quiet and respectful in the shop but they were treated so poorly by the saleswoman that it made us all feel VERY unwelcome. (I'm actually not sure if "saleswoman" is the best descriptor because after our experience with her, I didn't want to buy ANYTHING.) My son was actually on some of the best behavior I've seen out of him in a while (he has autism and his behavior varies depending on the situation). But he got scolded within five minutes of arriving for sitting down on a sofa in the middle of the store that didn't seem to have any signs saying that it was for display only. He didn't make any noise or act like a typical six year old. He just sat down and was immediately scolded. Then my daughter, who actually has a job and money to spend, was running her fingers over something on a shelf and was snapped at loudly that "that's for decoration only". When my son tried to ask the woman about a book he was interested in (about which he was pretty excited), she was rude to him and blew him off. It was so peculiar but my daughter left almost in tears because how rudely we were treated. At one point I asked if we were allowed to touch anything because it seemed like every time any of us laid a finger on anything, we were made to feel bad by the woman. We won't be back. And I'm sad because it was such a gorgeous little shop and I can tell some love and attention was put into this place (hence the two stars vice one). I'd love to go and spend some time and really explore without feeling unwelcome or that someone was following me and my family around watching everything we touched. We're not thieves or bad people trying to ruin the shop. We are a small family who were genuinely interested in spending some money on decorations for our new home. Oh well.

Yelp
I paid a visit to this shop while on vacation in Tucson. It is an adorable store with unique and carefully curated merchandise. I especially loved all the vintage, concrete lawn ornaments that somehow work perfectly with the other items for sale. I chatted with a lovely woman that worked there and we compared notes on the retail business in this day and age. I walked out with a few treasures to take home with me and look forward to returning to Bon very soon.

Yelp
The most magical and whimsical little shop to ever be created. I just want to live in here, is that too much to ask? I stumbled upon Bon while waiting to eat next door (get the huevos rancheros) and couldn't control myself from impulse buying. They have too many goodies to list at varying price points, and even got a shout out in the NY times (go Tucson!). I live in the Valley, but I'll be sure to visit next time I'm in town, I suggest you do too. Cheers to the beautification of Historic Tucson!

Yelp
The cutest shop with unique and beautiful findings. Crystal and her mom own Bon and have been here for 14 years. They have the most exquisite blankets/rugs from bolivia that are full of color (I'm dying to purchase one some day)

Yelp
NOT KID-FRIENDLY!! Wow, so I was really looking forward to checking out this store one morning after enjoying breakfast next door at Five Points (Excellent service, food & GREAT coffee!)) with my family. Unfortunately I never made past the first display table. Upon entering the store, my 6 year-old made a bee-line for a bowl full of beautiful, colored ornaments; his hands had just literally touched one and the owner/salesperson rushed over and interrupted me as I was reminding him that it was better to look rather than touch ornaments. She made no effort at all to be friendly or patient, but merely told him not to touch the ornaments, turned on her heel and walked away - which is what I proceeded to do after being treated so badly. Too bad, the store looks very unique and whimsical, but I will not be returning.

Adele W.

Yelp
Cute but the woman running it was flat out rude to a woman of color who came into the store asking questions about where she found some of her pieces. Definitely a cute store, but I didn't appreciate her yelling and then eventually getting fed up and telling this black woman she was "busy" when there was only three people in the store.

A J.

Yelp
Bon is a wonderful shop and always top on my list to recommend for out of town visitors. The owners are so sweet and have incredible taste. We visit the shop when ever we get a chance or need the perfect gift. The Decor inside the shop is always inspiring. Best of Tucson

Yelp
When in Tucson I always make a visit to Bon, which is one of the most singular, warm, and creatively curated stores you'll find anywhere. There is something uniquely Tucsonian about the ambiance here which celebrates the cultures, histories, and craftsmanship of this very historic town. As for the staff, I have always found the mother-daughter team that runs Bon to be welcoming and responsive and equally happy to let you browse at your leisure. Love their sense of style and flair which is also celebrated and extended in the blog on their website.
