Bonaba Cafe

After a (deliberately chosen) 30 minutes walk around the lake we enjoyed lunch at this nice relaxed place. Good food, beautiful view and friendly staff (owners are French and live there since more than 2 decades.

Around 3-4 km from pink lake. Food was mediocre and it changes every day I guess. Drinks were good . The hostesses were good and friendly. A nice feel of hospitality. Nice, clean and calm place for a weekend getaway. No indoor air conditioner sitting though. Just nature and its surrounding.

Went to Bonaba Cafe for lunch, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Great location right on Lac Rose with a nice view of the lake. Service staff were welcoming and very attentive. Although the restaurant closes at 5pm, the kitchen stops taking orders at 2:30, so plan accordingly! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent restaurant on lac Retba/ Rose with a great view of the lake. Spacious open area with shades and pet friendly too. The Good: Direct access to lac Rose. They have great food and service. It is a very well managed restaurant and runs smoothly. If you want to take a tour of the lake or take 4X4 to the nearby beach, they well arrange it for you for a fee. You can bring your pet with you as long as they are not aggressive to other patrons. They have an excellent fresh goat cheese salad which I think everyone should try. The fresh cheese comes from the farm right next door. Great parking area outside and no hawkers come to try sell your stuff whole you’re having a good tokes with your friends or family. The Bad: Only thing I can point out is the menu which doesn’t seem to change much. Also there’s a small open sewer nearby. which is not in the restaurants property I think, so not much they can do.

Very expensive, but the view and quality of the restaurant just about make it worth it. Not too crowded, beautiful view, well decorated and set up. Minus one star as they do not have good options for appetizers or small plates. You must order the entire menu (entree, main meal, dessert).

Decent restaurant on the edge of the lake. Food is tasty even if portions are relatively small. They have a “kids menu” meaning the kids can choose from the main menu plus a dessert ie no kid specific food options. Limited wine choice eg two rose options. Plenty of space for the kids to run around, down to the lake, check out the ostrichs etc.

Just take coffee today I will back for take lunch Next time So nice place
