Bonanza Coffee Roasters

The coffee was absolutely delicious. But they served me the last of what was left in the thermos and it was barely drinking temperature. I’m not the one to argue so I just drank it anyway but I would like it if they had a system in place to see whether the coffee is serve-able or not. Having said that, the taste of the coffee was still quite good. And so was the salmon croissant. I will definitely visit again but a little disappointed with the serving from this particular visit

Honestly one of the best coffees in Berlin 👌. The smell inside instantly reminded me of my country’s famous Cafés BONDIN ❤️ so rich and tasty, a REAL coffee experience 🤞. The employees are incredibly cute, cheerful, and welcoming, and the service is surprisingly fast 😳 without losing quality. Even though we said we’d take the coffee to go, the latte art and overall presentation were still sweet. My Italian friend called this place a hidden secret in Berlin, and I totally agree. It’s not expensive at all, and my cappuccino with milk was perfect. Just try to come early because it was hard to find a seat inside, especially now in winter. The vibe inside is so worth it. Even though it’s far from where I live, they genuinely made me smile, and I’m definitely coming back soon.

We tried two different filtered coffees, Indian and Guatemala. Sadly, both were not good. Maybe the other assortment is better. Had higher expectations given that they roast on their own. I always like to support independent coffee makers, but it didn't meet our standards.

The location is wonderful! I really appreciated the "no WiFi" signs. It is a great way to keep the space relaxed and free from people working on laptops. The music was thoughtfully chosen, and I loved the large window wall offering a peek into the roastery. It adds a unique and engaging touch to the atmosphere. I visited in the morning when the shop was relatively empty, yet I still waited 15 minutes for a simple cappuccino. During that time, the only barista on duty was also taking orders, while other staff members were rushing around but not assisting at the bar. It's hard to understand how this setup is seen as acceptable by the owners. Overall, it's a beautiful place and worth a visit for the ambiance — but if you're just looking for a quick coffee, the wait may not be worth it.

The back area offers a calm atmosphere where you can comfortably work on your laptop. Despite the spacious layout, there aren’t that many seats. There’s also outdoor seating, but personally, the chairs aren’t ideal for sitting over long periods. The overall interior is well-designed, with red brick walls, a green door, and plants that tie it all together beautifully. As for the coffee—need I say more? It’s excellent, almost making me feel like being at Bonanza Café in Seoul. I couldn’t help but smile when I noticed the restroom sign written in Korean right by the door!

I like Bonanza so much! Great chain of coffee spots in the city. Specifically this place is a very cozy with a great vibe. What’s special about it - there are horse farm nearby, located in a courtyard with historical buildings, lots of space. During weekdays there are lots of office workers going on morning coffee or spending their lunch time. That’s mostly it! Pastry 🥐 is always good, fresh and crunchy

Exactly what a new-wave independent roastery café should be. Set slightly off the main streets in a beautifully restored industrial building—minimalist but warm, with thoughtful design and a real sense of purpose. The space feels open yet intimate, with high ceilings, natural light, and serious coffee equipment and beans on display. I usually come for the filter coffee, which they consistently get right—clean, balanced, well-extracted. The espresso is solid too, even though I normally steer clear of beans that fresh. They know what they’re doing. The crowd is mostly locals and regulars, people who come here because they care about coffee. Tourists are rare, which helps keep the vibe calm and focused. It’s lively but never hectic. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s still one of the few spots I go out of my way for.

As a coffee fan, I came to try this place. The coffee and service were good. The place is nice, with lots of families and children, so you have to be more careful if you are a smoker. I tried a slice of pumpkin pie, which I found bland. The price was €13 including tip, and the coffee is filtered. I found it expensive in terms of value for money. Would I go back? No.
