Lovely coffee shop in the heart of Brighton. The coffee was delicious so was the banana walnut bread. The staff was friendly. The little table by the window on the sun made my experience even better.

Friendly place with beautiful coffee and staff who are always willing to "chat coffee". If you love black coffee then you have to try the batch filter version. Even better try the pourover, there's real craft in that. Just, wow.

My girlfriend and I visited this coffee shop for the first time, hoping to have a nice experience, but unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. From the moment we mentioned it was our first time there, the barista's attitude felt rude and dismissive. When we asked about the different blends, instead of getting friendly guidance, we felt like we were being looked down on, which made us uncomfortable. It’s a shame because the coffee itself was actually really good, but the unwelcoming atmosphere and snooty attitude from the staff definitely overshadowed that. A little more warmth and friendliness would go a long way to match the quality of the coffee. Unfortunately, with so many great spots around, this experience makes it hard to recommend.

What a fantastic experience. So welcoming atmosphere and that smell.... CINNAMON all over. I couldn't see at first which cake smell so divine 😍 drinking Brazilian roast coffee I spot customers next to our table eating beautiful CINNAMON BUN 😋😍 I knew then that was the smell which welcome us and I need to try it. Freshly baked with vegan cream on the side still warm. What else do you need to start your day with cup of coffee to complete all that experience. For sure one of the places to try when you travel to BRIGHTON. I'm sure we will visit you again no doubt🥰🥰🥰🥰

Always lovely coffee. Last visit I treated myself so a slab of banana bread though and the person offered to toast it. WHY HAD I NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE?! blew my mind. So good!

Came in to try the coffee as I’d read good things. I stood waiting at the till for a while with no acknowledgment of me being stood there. One barista was chatting to someone over the bar and the other was sat at the end of the bar on their phone. I really wanted to know about their coffee but the barista was very blunt and didn’t make me feel comfortable enough to ask the questions I wanted to.

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt last time, but I can confidently say that the staff here are among the worst in Brighton. Whoever is in charge of recruitment at Bond St should seriously take a long look at themselves. I ordered a dry cappuccino, which you would expect a ‘speciality’ coffee shop to be familiar with. When I complained about the drink not being right, I was met with an annoyed look and a comment from the barista along the lines of ‘I’ll try, but it’s hard to see in the dark.’ Frankly, their lighting problems aren’t my concern. When the drink was returned, it was essentially the same, with a token bit of extra froth. I couldn’t even be bothered to complain again. Overall, a terrible experience. The staff are absolutely dreadful.

Two women serving & making drinks had the sourest faces I’ve ever seen. Had proper attitude when I was ordering & made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by ordering coffee. Thank goodness the coffee was good! 😏

Yelp
I spent a couple of days in Brighton while on vacation from the US. I have always struggled to find a cup of coffee like I enjoy it in the US when traveling abroad. I love a good pour over coffee or drip coffee made with flavorful specialty beans. This place has just that! One of the best cups of coffee I've had abroad hands down! The service was fine (I walked in as soon as it opened, so no crowd to fight). The vibe is rustic and eclectic -- I enjoyed it. Highly recommend, especially for coffee snobs who enjoy a good black cup of coffee with flavor!

Yelp
I love strong coffee and this place does it right! Why I am a Bond St Coffee Addict +'s: + Coffee is strong. I can taste it. Even through a latte, I can taste those strong coffee beans. Wow. + Flat White. It's not a latte bit similar. I had to get schooled and ended up ordering these when I needed something less milky. + Service is great! They are nice and let me sit there for hours using their free wi-fi while I worked. + Great vibe. I love the feel of the place. Corner tables and sofa occupy the limited seating. There is prime window seating to people watch. There is a bench outside the window to rendezvous with others. + Great music. I can't remember what was being played but I remember it was good and not loud. Why I am a Bond St Coffee Nonaddict -'s: - This place can get filled quickly so I have to hoof it somewhere else to park my ass and laptop. - Bathroom is sketch. Down a stairwell and not the cleanest. Toilet does flush.

Yelp
Really quirky little coffee shop in Brighton. Always walked past here and it looked very busy. First time visit today. I can see why it's busy that's for sure! Standard coffee shop in terms of decor. Mix matched furniture, rustic feel, wire light bulbs and food served on slates and wrapped in brown paper tied with string kinda thing! The coffee is REALLY good, very tasty. Very strong, made well. They don't so syrups which is a bit weird, but You ask for a latte, you get a latte. Not a splash of coffee and FOAM. That really winds me up you know. A latte which is just forth and foam. If I wanted a froth and foam, I'd go to a foam party - I nearly suffocated at one of those once, they are dangerous! Anyway, they serve amazing looking food. Very organic and good looking! I especially liked the look of the savoury muffin. Feta and pesto, with sundries tomatoes! Wooowwzzzzer I'm going to have a go at making them , and I'll try one for sure next time I'm there.

Yelp
I've walked past this place a few times and thought about going in there. I'm glad I finally did today! Coffee was superb, really smooth and there was a lot of choice as to which type of coffee/origin you could have. I opted for a latte to go. At £3 it was a little pricey, but the quality of the coffee reflects that. However it was the smallest latter I have EVER had! There wasn't any option to have it in a slightly larger cup. Like I said, the coffee really was delicious, but I would have preferred a slightly larger offering.

Yelp
Really nice coffee, tea and cakes in a very central location. We've walked past loads of time and meant to stop in, when we finally did it was very nice and chilled inside. It's great to know that the coffee is locally produced (in Horsham). The shop has free wifi and the drinks are great value.

Yelp
The Brighton coffee scene is already pretty big and offers a lot of choice for artisan coffee. So when I saw a new place had popped up near my workplace, I honestly didn't go in for a while due to being a regular elsewhere. However, I'm really glad I went in and checked it out! They offer a daily selection of two single source bean varieties to choose from, as well as having a really tasty decaf option too. They get most of their food from the guys at Silo, which is soo tasty! Both the drinks and the food is quite well priced too in my opinion. I love how they really care about their beans, the quality of the extraction as well as having some superb latte art. The cup size for me is perfect, as I never really got the whole idea of having a massive cup of foamed/ steamed milk with really tiny ratio of espresso in there. The design is super simple, nice hanging industrial bulbs, comfy seating and a pretty decent selection of music. All together, I'm really into Bond St Coffee and am now a regular. Coffee done as coffee should be!
