Google
So very thankful for the hospitality received here from the staff for my son as he ordered up some of the best takeaway fish in the area. Hey also there’s this spicy king fish inside -out roll ... definitely would give it a go.

Google
Too expensive for the place and food! Sweet potatos was the best taste and seafood was ok but not great! My seafood curry for 27 was the way too pricey and taste just soso…..

Google
An elevated style of fish and chips. You might get less than what you'd be use to, but everything was executed well. Beer batter fish fillets were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside (with nice cragly bits of crunch). We also got some prawn cutlets that were done in a Japanese style. The only critique was that the fish would have benefited with abit more seasoning. The tartare sauce was tangy and obviously freshly made. The chips were also crispy and well seasoned. Overall, worth trying atleast once (even if you're usually a fan of large portion sizes)

Google
Fresh, tasty and nice fish experience. You can buy fresh fish also there so it is really good. With view down to Bondi.

In the heart of Bondi with a beautiful view. The food was fresh and excellent. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Google
Quite literally the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Normally it's soggy and/or greasy, but these were crisp and crunchy. The fish could have been seasoned a little before it was fried, but still the best I've ever had. Their drink selections are limited, and you can't BYO, so we just had the water. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall feel as if you sit inside, you'll get the heat from the grill/fryers. WILL be going again!

Fresh seafood meets sushi.... it's bound to be pretty damn good. I ordered the seared salmon salad and it was unbelievable, bursting with flavour and a very generous serving size. There was a huge selection of fresh fish and some sides that would excite anyone's taste buds. The sweet potato chips are a must order, honestly you will probably want seconds. You can just tell the locals love this place and the staff were great! So excited to have discovered this place. Will be back for sure.

Love this place! The fish is is so fresh and cooked to perfection. There are so many side options it's hard to chose just one. The specials change weekly and are all based on what is in season. It's the ultimate takeaway fish shop with about seating for about 24. Ill definitely be back here. Fast service and if you're unsure about what to order just ask the guy taking your order, he knows everything.

Yelp
It's not just a creative name folks, I truly believe this is Bondi's best seafood. And apparently so does the rest of the world as more often than not, there's a sign on the door at the end of the evening noting that certain fish (sometimes even the entire stock) is sold out. Whether you're grabbing something fresh and practically flopping to take home and prepare yourself, or planning to sit at their outward facing bar (overlooking the glamorous North Bondi bus terminal) and devour some freshly grilled, battered and fried, or sashimi'ed and sushi-rolled fish, you really can't go wrong. The menu is continually changing with whatever's fresh and they do a damn good job of preparing it with as little fuss and flash as possible to let the beautiful flavour of the fish speak for itself. My advice? Try whatever roll they have on special. Check out my photos and you'll understand why.

Yelp
Bondi's Best has become a go-to of my boyfriend and mine. Here you'll find yourself away from the grot of Bondi beach and where the locals eat. Bondi's Best cooks up a smart fish and chip. Restaurant quality meals from the sea, offered up in a casual place. There are lean and light options like grilled salmon and steamed greens, sleek looking sushi dishes, plus the classic salty battered fish and chips. The batter is gorgeously light, like a Japanese tempura. Stylings are casual and breezy, and the view of Bondi beach is bliss. Summer Sundays should be spent right here. BB has it all

Yelp
Bondi's Best is a fishmonger gone glam with bright, shiny interiors finished with white marble and giant glass display cases. Sit up at the bar inside facing North Bondi or take to their handful of outdoor tables, but beware you might have to wait a while for families to finish up at the four-seaters earlier in the night. Choose your fish or seafood from the likes of snapper, barramundi and salmon and finish it off with one of the many side dish options, including iceberg lettuce with aioli, chives and a soft-boiled egg or parmesan and rocket salads. The crispy skin ocean trout was perfectly pink in the middle, served with roast French beans and beetroot and a wedge of fresh lemon. With all sides priced at $5, you're looking at a starting point of $20 for dinner, which isn't half bad considering this place is also BYO.

Yelp
Great fish & chips, the best I have ever had. So fresh and not greasy at all. Nice little spot for some fresh fish / sushi. Very small, so don't come with big groups. They have two tables outside that seat 4 and otherwise 3 high top tables that seat 2 each and then 8 bar spots.

Yelp
So happy to have found this place. Tiny inside, but the best meal I've had in Sydney by far. If you love seafood, go!!! Had the Aburi Salmon Salad, tempura prawns and sweet potato chips along with a glass of Mr. Micks Riesling. And did I mention that you can sit at the front counter and see Bondi Beach.

Yelp
We enjoyed a nice seafood meal,at Bondi's Best tonight. The restaurant is well presented with indoor, outdoor seating. Is a little hidden from the tourist traffic, probably nice for locals. The menu is a seafood healthy choice, also offering daily fish choices, to be grilled. The staff were attentive, pleasant, service was good. The meals were well presented, small sized, tasty, well priced for Bondi Beach area. I would return to this seafood venue.

Yelp
Shit place. Been waiting for my order for 100 minutes now and the entree had been forgotten. Hungrier than a Kenyan during Ramadan

Yelp
Heard this was a 'must visit' restaurant in Bondi dishing out great seafood with a Japanese twist, so off we went. Nice decor, good ambience. The menu looked good, the wine list equally good. The woman that sat us was friendly and knew what she was talking about, but then we were passed onto other waitresses that didn't know the dishes or the wines so that was disappointing. Service from then on in went down hill. Left with no cutlery to eat with at one stage, waited ages to even ask for soy, ordered mussels and asked for a fingerbowl which never came. By the end of the meal we tried to pay but couldn't get anyone's attention so ended up walking to waitstaff. It wasn't even busy. Bit disappointing actually considering we spent over a hundred a head. The food was amazing though.

Yelp
Great spot at the bar with a view to the surf. Nice menu selection with light and fresh options. Simple and varied wine selection. Salad and soup we had was delicious. Wines were very nice. Good vibe.

Yelp
The name says it all. I'm not a huge oyster fan but after a sampling of their Sydney rock trio I was ready for seconds. Their tuna tartar was some of the freshest I've had. My date's tsunami roll was outstanding. I don't know what their secret is but who cares give them a try. Fair prices and a great friendly staff round out a really nice night. Well done, all around.

Yelp
Excellent crispy skin snapper with ratatouille, good oysters, friendly staff and fun laid back atmosphere. Thry also offer several take away sushi and seafood options at a discounted price from the eat in menu. More expensive than some other options in the neighborhood, but I thought it was worth it.

Yelp
This review is for the new location on Hall St. During our short stay in Bondi we dined at this place twice. The first time we came for the seafood and the second was for the sushi. Having a hard time finding a decent sushi joint in Bondi we opted for the same place we had been to few days earlier. This has to been one of my favorite restaurants that we eat at in Bondi. The seafood taste very fresh and expertly prepared. The sushi is phenomenal and comparable to a high end sushi restaurant. The service matches the exceptional food. No complaints. If your in the mood for seafood or sushi this place will not disappoint.

Yelp
Absolutely my favorite restaurant in New South Wales. I have been here many times and I've never been disappointed. Tonight we had the softshell crab papaya salad and it was amazing. So many different selections of fresh fish prepared perfectly and an awesome sushi bar. Worth the drive from anywhere great service and super reasonably priced. We spend two weeks a year in Bondi! I can always eat here several times while in town. I've begged the owner many times to open a location in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Best & freshest seafood in the world!!! I have just returned from New York, England & northern France & was introduced to Bondi's Best by a friend. The fish truly is the freshest & best cooked anywhere. You have to line up & there are only a few tables to sit at but its worth the wait. Maybe I should have kept it a secret!!
