I'm not sure of the quality of the food and service at this restaurant typically, my review is only for a Murder Mystery dinner held here and served buffet style. I'm not a picky eater, however I must say the food was awful. Buffet consisted of salad, roll/butter, cheese/crackers, green bean casserole (all ok, but far from good and definitely cold) a corn dish (can't comment on cause was gone before our table was called), potatoes (best item served, but average at best) chicken (seasoned with something that had a very odd flavor to it and void of any juice--extremely dry and chewy) and some type of meat that was discolored in spots and looked like leather, roast beef maybe? I was too afraid to try it. For dessert; a white cake drizzled with chocolate topped with a strawberry, good concept but also dry, like it was cut and left sitting for several hours before serving. The show was amateur, but cute and entertaining. The cost was over $50.00 a person advanced/$65.00 at the door. WAY over what should have been charged. I felt bad, this was their first event of this type, the caterer/chef spoke at the end and said they will be having another since the attendance was so good, however.....feedback I overheard from guests is that those there will not be returning as food quality wasn't up to what was expected for the cost and they ran out of some items before all were served.
