I first came here because this coffee shop kept showing up on TikTok, but the service impressed me even more. The staff kindly explained the menu in English, and I really appreciated that. I was lucky there wasn’t a long line when I visited. They accept both cash and cashless payments, and although the drinks are on the pricier side, I feel the quality and service really justify it. Just a heads up for anyone planning to visit: since you never really know when it gets crowded, it’s better to set aside a bit of extra time. The ordering process can take longer because the staff asks for your preferences,like which coffee blend you want and your sweetness level to make sure the drink matches your taste. It’s a great experience, but it can take a moment. I ordered the Matcha Espresso with the Bongen original blend and tried both the sweet and less-sweet versions, but surprisingly the sweet version was my favorite 😂 The espresso was bold, the matcha tasted high-quality. For coffee or matcha lovers, this place might be nice to try at least once 🍵☕✨

This new branch is bigger than the first one. The lighting and decoration is really nice. The Matcha latte is really good. Onigiri is good too The rice is sticky rice with is really nice. Despite the rice being very tasty just felt that it doesn’t go well with drink with milk. Went on a weekday at 9.40 and Q up for 20 mins

Espresso based coffee shop with modern Japanese aesthetics - I believe their Bongen latte contains 3 shots. The vibe inside is amazing and it’s fun to customize your coffee based on the roast and bean preference. Service is also very good as they helped answer any questions while ordering and also organizing the tables to accommodate our party size. I will say while it is good coffee, it wasn’t overly special and I don’t know if I’ll come back given the hype and the wait time. We were lucky to be front of the line but you can easily wait in line for 30+ mins. Either way, a solid coffee spot.

- This is new branch at Nihonbashi area. - The store has less table for dine in (up to 10 for sitting). I were recommend to enroll the queue before opening hour at lease 30-45 minutes. - I have made an order "BONGEN Coffee Latte Hot". The taste and smell of coffee is good and make me fresh in the late morning. - You are able to select additional bean with little extra cost. - The staff in the store able to speak English and native language. - Inside the store also have a toilet for you convenience.

The staff provide excellent services the coffee is excellent. Had 3 different drinks with different beans. Bongen latte has 2.5 shots expresso. Taste changed with just a half teaspoon of sugar syrup. Wow! Roasted green tea latte (hojicha) + expresso. The tea is very good. Over powered the Uganda beans . beans .best with sugar. Match latte + expresso The matcha was over powering the expresso. Maybe because we had all hotel drinks. Perhaps the tea combination should be an iced version. Overall, i would recommend this place
