For that one should be intelligent for buying & quality realizing ability to recognize which product is good or bad. In case of wholesale products, some shopkeepers Bargain. Some aren’t bargain. A massive fire broke out at the Bangabazar Shopping Complex on 4th April 2023. Around six thousand stores were burnt down along with other structures damaged due to the circumstances. Unfortunately, many traders were unable to save their products, leading to significant losses. Bongobazar isn't the same as before. Prices of clothes are higher, even though all of the "export" items are defected. Probably because of the increase in number of online sellers who buy in large quantities of clothes from here. Check thoroughly before buying from here. There are very few sellers who sell good clothes at a low rate now, you have to go deep. The staircases to go to the second floor is a little bit dirty and you may see a little garbage with urine smell. A tip: If you're a lady who wants to come here and do not wear burkha/hizab then come with a man. Most of the salesmen here do not respect women and might speak disrespectfully and throw comments, specially in the men section.
