Super friendly staff. Very welcoming. Lovely view of the stream from our table.
We ordered bannocks and haggis and were not disappointed.
Would definitely return.

Well worth a visit if you’re here in Shetland. The lunches in the cafe are great value and freshly prepared - delicious! After lunch take a stroll around the charming gallery of local artist exhibitions. An excellent afternoon spent in a scenically beautiful location 😊

Interesting though small gallery on the upper floor of a converted water mill in remote Weisdale. The ground floor houses a supporting arts and craft shop whilst the lower ground floor is a cafe with conservatory overlooking the burn behind the mill.

The cafe is amazing. Simple but great food and delicious cakes and cream teas. It's best to book a table in advance as it's popular at lunch time. You can book online or over the phone.
The gallery displays work of wonderful local artists and most of it you can buy.

Small but well worth a visit. Lovely gift shop staff managed to squeeze us in for the free exhibition upstairs which was a very sweet video made by a local artist. The gift shop has some nice bits in it, and the café downstairs does a wonderful soup and even better local cakes. Parking is a little restricted here but I've never had any trouble getting a space.

Love the cafe, excellent food and nice cakes. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. And the atmosphere seems to have an unnatural calming effect on my kids, who usually can't sit still in a cafe for longer than it takes them to drink their juice. So whatever 'special ingredients' they put into their juice to make that happen... Keep it up!

Small, cosy gallery featuring local artists. Nice café downstairs with coffee, cakes, scones, soup, and more. The shop has a good range of nice crafts, not cheap but original. Some beautiful knitwear stuff, plus the obligatory range of puffin themed products 😉

On our way to catch the ferry to Yell, we decided to stop at this gallery. I am so glad that we did. The scenery was beautiful, and the cafe was fantastic. The featured artist wove baskets out of discarded materials. I especially appreciated the interactive pieces of the exhibit.
At the cafe, we had tea and cakes, and we sat on the beautiful patio alongside the stream.

Yelp
The Bonhoga Gallery is well worth a visit, albeit only a short one!
The gallery is fairly small so the exhibits are limited. However, due to the fact that the exhibits regularly change - it's worth visiting over and over again.
The coffee shop is especially good and the gift shop always has a great selection of unusual gfts and kitsch items.
