"Named after the Spanish word for “pretty,” this beachfront park lives up to its moniker. Located just south of Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Beach tends to be quieter, drawing a laidback crowd and lots of families. Rather than hotels or resorts, actual homes line the shores. When you visit, head straight to the park, which functions as an undeveloped oasis on the southern tip of the beach. There are grills and tables so pack a picnic, then spend some time on the playground or sand volleyball court."

Nice small beach area next to a restaurant. Limited paid parking so get there EARLY! Loved the shelly beach. Men came to play volleyball. Chill people mostly at the beach.

Could be really nice beach but there appears to be some construction going on at this access point via Beach access #9. There we also a lot of dead fish washed up along the shore line but that didn't stop others from getting in the water.. no thanks

Absolutely beautiful beach!! My husband and I loved it here❤️😍!! Parking is cheap. $2 an hour! There are shells everywhere🐚

This was our first time at Bonita Beach, but we will definitely be back. I usually wait til May to swim, but it was warm the 1st week of Feb, braved it and had a ball!

Large paid parking lot near by. You need an app or access to the internet to register your vehicle in the parking lot. Beach is very clean and not overly busy. There is a pathway for pedestrians, You can rent a beach chair for $10. Blue/ Turquoise water and white sands.

This is a great beach. Sadly, southwest Florida had 3 hurricanes in 2 years. The facilities, including bathrooms and showers, have been damaged. However, there are temporary facilities. Parking is available.

Crab stuffed into Grouper with the Mango marinade was awesome. Service was good if a little rushed. Restaurant looks out over a nice pond. I would go back again
