Bonito Paraíso Beach House

A wonderful surprise. We ended our 2 week holiday in Brazil here. The hotel location is isolated in a beautiful bay with own beach but equally has a vibrant cool atmosphere with its lighting, trendy vibe music and amazing helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. Excellent cocktails. Afternoon tea included with some amazing cakes. The dinner (we had three nights of suppers) was out of the world. Incredible how such a small kitchen and chilled staff can churn out such service. We felt thoroughly relaxed and spoilt.

Amazing. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in a lot of places around the world but Bonito Paraiso is possibly the best. That is down to the amazing tranquil location combined with the excellent, courteous staff. Pablo was able to support in arranging private transfers from Rio airport and the boat trip directly to Bonito Paraiso. Also very helpful with local recommendations and arranging excursions. We stayed in Room 3 in the main beach house. We had our own veranda space where we were served breakfast at. It was amazing falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The catering staff were fantastic at supporting with dietary conditions and always provided breakfast and afternoon cake which met those requirements. Bonito Paraiso is fantastic. If you’re visiting Ilha Grande staying here is highly recommended.

The staff (except for one) are exceptional - kind and attentive and always smiling. The bay and the available kayaks and paddle boards etc are great and the restaurant has stunning food and cocktails. The location too is unbelievable. The only downside is the quality of the rooms; for this much money I would expect a mould-free room with a kettle (although once requested I got one immediately, with cafetière and coffee and filter); a sheet that fitted the bed; more available sockets; better quality sunbeds; had to pay for drinking water in room; very old shower; very little vegan options. All my family would go back, but for this much money I'm afraid I would not.

We liked our stay at the hotel and we can recommend it. The staff is very very kind (especially Isabella and Fox). The managers could take an example from them. The restaurant is very tasty, romantic but also very pricy. The shuttle service with the boat is very handy and not too expensive. we loved being a bit away from the main village but still close enough to hike there (20’). It‘s definitely a good choise but we find that overall, the pictures overrate the quality and cleanliness of the place a little bit.

We loved our stay here! We are a family of 5 from the uk, 3 children under 10. Stunning location with delicious food, great vibe for adults, and amazing playground for kids with calm waters, skorkelling, sup and kayak options. Our room was in the main house, a great size for the 5 of us and womderful to hear the sea at night. We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights, but felt grateful we managed to book in as we almost missed out!

We had a lovely stay here, the staff are truly wonderful, and the food is of exceptional quality. The house benefits from a lovely restaurant and bar. The bay is a perfect place to relax and kick back. The hotel offers help with tours, kayaking, snorkelling, taxi's. Highly recommended

Bonito Paraíso is the most beautiful hotel, with amazing food, stunning scenery and wonderful people. I couldn’t recommend it more, we did 5 nights and wish we stayed longer. The island has great hikes, beaches, we also did a private boat tour one day which was great. Additionally, I have a gluten allergy/coeliac and they perfectly catered to this.

Bonito Paraiso Beach House is your perfect getaway if you visit Ilha Grande. A beautiful hotel on a magnificent place. Very friendly staff, good food and well maintained hotel!
