Bonjuk Bay is pure magic — and people out here are wild for calling it expensive. Let me be clear: I don’t know where else in the world you’re getting this — private beach, stunning nature, amazing energy, and a full board of fresh, delicious food — at these prices: • €70 per night if you bring your own tent — that’s with three meals a day. • €100 per night if you want a tent provided for you — again, with three full meals. • €200 per night for a room with A/C for two people — meals included. The food was very good. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Not some half-ass buffet. Real, nourishing meals, every day. The staff? Super professional, warm, and everyone spoke English. The service was solid across the board — respectful, helpful, and never pushy. As for the vibe — it’s next-level. Peaceful, grounding, and somehow still social without being overwhelming. You’re literally sleeping by the sea, surrounded by nature, with access to paddle boards, hiking trails, community, music, and creative workshops. It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s an experience. A retreat. A reset. Whatever you want to call it — it’s worth it. So to the people leaving reviews complaining about the cost: I don’t know what planet you’re on, but you’re clearly not understanding the value of what’s being offered here. This place is not overpriced. Bonjuk Bay is special. It’s not for everyone — and honestly, that’s part of what makes it so damn good.

At Bonjuk last week, I had the best three days in my life thanks to Bonjuk staff and community. Every detail was tailored for Art Week where we had solo cello performans during sunset and a piano performance, which is specifically brought from Istanbul just for one night. At Bonjuk, every detail matters and they are absolutely perfectionists to maximize Bonjuk experience of their guests. I had the best cocktails and coffee, along with amazing food and top-class DJ performance. Another special thanks to front desk staff for their kindness and ability to solve any problems in case it happens. And the best news comes last, the value you are getting is by far above the quality of the service and the experience. I’ll be back soon!

We went to Bonjuk as musicians with their artist residency program. Wasn't sure what to expect as the only reviews I could find online were from a couple who clearly didn't enjoy their stay. It's a great place - run by two musician DJs who are passionate and have a vision. The food was absolutely first class. They've set the place up well - there's a bar that does coffees and smoothies, and a shower and toilet block, and then the camping area with canvas tents close together. Some are in shade, some aren't. It looks like they've bought new tents for guests. We were in one of the artist tents which must be the old tents as it was mouldy (that happens with canvas tents left out over winter) and one zipper was broken, but as someone with allergies and asthma I didn't have any reaction being in there. They had painted over the mould. But like I said, guest tents appeared to be new. The bedding was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the tent had a fan, it was cool at night so we slept well and you can nap during the day on the cushions and day beds in the shade near the beach. The original owners were a Dutch couple who planted the whole place out 40 years ago with grape vines and fruit trees, so it's quite beautiful, and Bonjuk does value recycling and composting in a country where that stuff is pretty cutting edge. They did have a water filter out the back - if you ask them you can fill up your water bottle there. We were there for one of their weekend festivals, this one with a yoga theme so there were mostly Turkish influencer-type guests. The next group were families who came for the week, that was fun. The staff are mostly seasonal workers who speak some English, and were very friendly. The other thing worth mentioning is it was almost 40 degrees in Bodrum all week but at Bonjuk it was the perfect temperature - not too hot. sunsets on the beach are stunning. The team here were very generous to us - they paid for a taxi to take us the 3 hours to Bodrum after our stay, and they even took us to the pharmacy with no questions asked, a two hour round trip. They're good people running a business with a difference and I'd recommend it for a vacation or as an artist in residence.

It was an amazing experience — perfect if you want to chill, relax, and connect with nature. The food was delicious, the people were incredibly friendly and supportive, and I truly felt at home. I really enjoyed the vibes and the place. It’s a great spot to visit when you want to escape the stress of everyday life.

Bonjuk was stunning for my friend’s birthday in June, but the staff? Let’s just say the service came with a complimentary side of attitude. Especially, there was this girl at the bar—Eda—who acted like every drink we ordered personally offended her. Honestly, we started to feel guilty just for being thirsty 😂 Her vibe was less “How can I help you?” and more “Why are you still here?” It was almost impressive how consistently annoyed she looked. 10/10 for commitment!

I could describe this experience as a magic! I stayed at maxi glampimg tent and it was really comfy, especially I loved the shower! Staff was really friendly and the food was absolutely great. The nature and sea was another level. Overall it was an experience that I will not forget! Thanks for all!

We’ve traveled the world—literally. As a travel agency, it’s our job to explore the best of the best. But Bonjuk Bay isn’t just a destination. It’s a soul reset. There are very few places left in the world where you can fully disconnect from the noise and reconnect with yourself. This is one of them. The energy here is sacred. You wake up to the sound of the sea, spend your day reading by the water, taking a canoe out into the calm, or just lying in a hammock under the trees doing absolutely nothing—and feeling absolutely full. The staff are incredible. Warm, grounded, and deeply intentional. They hold this place down with love and care, and it shows in everything—from the way they remember your name to the way each meal is made. And the food? All fresh, all natural, all delicious. Every plate feels like it came straight from the earth. This place is worth every cent. It’s not just beautiful—it’s transformative. For us, this is where we come when we need to remember what matters. No hotel in the world can touch this kind of magic❤️

Bayramfest's vibe? Smoothies over shots. Giggles over garnishes. And the funny part-time bartender girls? Let’s just say… they clocked in for the playlist, not the pour. 😅💅 Eda the girl “Please don’t drink anymore, I’m tired of making smoothies,” she said — as if that was the peak of mixology. Smiled only for the boys, served cold shoulders to the girls — and smoothies, reluctantly, to everyone else. Clearly hired for “ambiance”… not service. 😂 Drinks optional. Vibes mandatory. 🍸✨
