On a chilly winter day, nothing beats the comfort of a steaming bowl of porridge. We order both abalone and crab varieties. My 86-year-old mother finds the abalone porridge a bit bland, but she enjoys the sweeter taste of the crab version. I love adding condiments, which enhance the flavors and make the experience more delightful.
