Bonnie Doone Manor-on-the-Beach

We stayed here for two nights and had a nice time. The room was cozy with a great view, and the two beds were really comfortable. The bathroom and shower were super small and a bit outdated, though, which was the only downside. They had free coffee and muffins in the morning, which was a nice touch, and parking was included which is great since the lot across the street is $40/day. The location is amazing literally a 30-second walk to the beach and just a couple minutes to the main street. Super convenient for everything in Grand Bend. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for comfort and location, just don’t expect anything fancy.

We had a closet for a room with a beautiful view. We have had a bigger bathroom/shower in our old RV. Location is good. So many stairs! The place is old. The bed has not comfortable. The pillows were made out of cardboard. We did see a beautiful sunset but we will not be visiting there again. Much too expensive for what it is

We found this place last minute when we needed a place for a one night stop. Easy to book, friendly service, comfortable rooms, loved walking to everything we needed. My son loved the mini golf options nearby. I loved the restaurant selection nearby and the ability to walk out to the beach. Clouds kinda got in the way of the sunset but it was still a beautiful sight! It was a relaxing and fun time. Wish we had longer to stay. Hope to be back!

This is s great little place. Very comfortable, clean and so unique in that every room is different. Not a cookie cutter hotel. Staff are friendly and it is located right on the beach front with close walking distance to the Main Street, restaurants, shops etc. Beautiful views. Even gave us a card and small gift as we were here as part of an anniversary mini-trip. Stay here you will not be disappointed.

These accommodations are located in the most perfect location!||||Second year staying here and it was even better than the first. ||||Just like last year, our room was meticulously clean. The housekeeping staff do a great job.||||We travelled with our 18 year old son, who also enjoyed the visit as much as last year. ||||Our favorite activity....glass of wine on the beautiful Muskoka chairs out front, watching the beach, lake, people and sunset. Loved the morning swims in the lake before anyone else made it to the beach.||||Parking right our front is super convenient. We keep all of our beach equipment in our trunk. So we can leave our room and just grab it and go set up for a day at the beach. ||||Thank you to everyone at the Bonnie Doone.||||Look forward to seeing you and our stay next year.||:-)

This Place is fantastic! The view and location are fabulous. This was our first stay here and will definitely be back next season. Barb is an excellent host and very friendly. We had the panoramic view in our room. Very clean, comfortable beds. Watched the sunset over lake huron from the muskoka chairs out front , and watched it rise from the comfort of my bed. Awesome place!

Booked a room for two nights, at our second night all of the sudden at 3:30 am the power went out and came back on. Everything works but there were major issues. Before the outage the ac and fan were working fine and had it on max level since it was really hot. After the outage both fan and ac works very poorly, wifi went out, my dad's sleep apnea machine isn't working anymore even though it was plugged in. This is a nice hotel, it's just this one incident that happened made us very upset.

It is my second time here and still so very happy with our experience. I have not found a similar hotel experience on the beach in Ontario. Barb is so helpful and organized. Our room (#6) slept 4 of us very comfortably and allowed for my son to have the pullout to himself. Accessible parking was also made available to us to accomodate on or our party members with mobility issues. What can I say about the chairs that provide an amazing view of spectacular sunsets? Brilliant. I highly recommend this place.

The family and I could have never imagined a better place to stay here in Grand Bend. Just amazing. The staff is top notch and really believe in what they're doing. The rooms are clean and welcoming and the view from the balcony is indescribable. Right across the street from the beach and I don't know what else to say. So happy with our choice. If I could I would give it more than five stars. Thank you to the staff. Thank you thank you thank you.
