BONOBO Bar & Canteen

Called in with my wife while having a day out in Chester in February 2026, as first time visitors. On arrival it was near empty (as expected for 2pm on a Thursday) and we were greeted with a lovely smile and welcome from the waitress, who talked is through the offers they had on and made some excellent recommendations. The venue was clean and very nicely laid out, with a quirky but pleasant décor/ vibe, and we chose a table in the corner with a view of the large screen TV and watched some of the Olympics. We went for the free ‘pizza with a drink’ offer and were really pleased with the quality of the pizza, drinks were also good. The waitress was attentive and friendly throughout. Would highly recommend and will certainly visit again when next in the area.

We came for bottomless brunch with a party of 18, service was excellent and quick! Drinks were incredible and so was the food, especially the duck pizza! Great value and everyone had a great time! Thank you so much!

I was recommended Bonobo when searching for a venue to host our Launch Night into the industry for a University end of year project. After multiple meetings with Cam and Will we decided this was the place for us. They allowed us to transform the space into how we desired it to look, supplied unreal food to our guests and overall made the night unforgettable. The team are incredibly talented and professional, just down to earth people.

Recently had my 30th birthday party here and it all went so perfectly. Team were amazing, food was great, accommodated for everything I needed and all guests had a great time. Thank you so much to Will for all the help and to the team behind the scenes ❤️

Came here for a Galentines with the girls. Had such a good time. We had the best waiter Cat! She was absolutely amazing could not have asked for better service. Drinks and food were absolutely astounding!! The vibe was just what we wanted. Definitely recommend!!!!

We had our wedding after-party upstairs at Bonobos and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were all so lovely and helpful, and Will made sure everything ran perfectly on the night. We also ordered pizzas for everyone on the night, and they were such a hit! I was also able to pop in early that morning to set up my decorations, which was super handy. The welcome drinks on arrival were the perfect touch too😊 Our DJ, Sydney, was incredible! She played all the songs I’d sent her beforehand and kept the dance floor packed all night. Honestly, I’d 100% book another party here again. We loved every minute, thank you so much! 💕
