Bonochi Italian Restaurant

What an outstanding restaurant! I visited on the 19th of November for my sister’s birthday meal, and from the moment we stepped through the door, we were met with such a warm and genuine welcome. The atmosphere was inviting, comfortable, and full of positive energy, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a place where every course exceeds expectations, but this restaurant truly delivered. I also want to give a special mention to our lovely waitress, Balhor. She was incredible! So friendly, attentive, and always smiling. She made us feel completely taken care of throughout the night and added such a personal touch to the entire experience. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making my sister’s birthday memorable. What stood out the most was how the staff went above and beyond to make the celebration feel extra special. From the thoughtful gestures to the exceptional level of service, they turned an already lovely evening into something truly unforgettable. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, wonderful service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I will absolutely be returning. Well this little restaraunt was a surprise. Was looking for a evening out for dinner. Tried to get into a few other places and there were either a policy of a minimum spend per person or fully booked no ad hoc tables. Searched google and found Bonochi. Took a chance drove the short distance to the restaraunt. After checking out the menu in the window went in. was immediately impressed by the decor and the welcome. Ordered a starter, a carbonara, a beer and a pudding. The food was excellent, the service attentive. Ok so not cheap but reasonable prices for great food and good service pleasant atmosphere. Highly reccomend trying this little italian restaraunt out

Had a superb meal here for a friend's 80th birthday. Food was well presented and hot. Served by a lovely lady ( name began with a B) very authentic Italian feel . Lovely atmosphere,very clean. Definitely recommend the penne Salmon ,lasagne,veggie spaghetti . When we left,they presented my friend with a bottle of red wine for her birthday. How kind. Easy parking right outside. 5⭐

The food here reminded me of a hug from my mom- warm, comforting and from the heart. I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Bonochi. When I arrived, it was almost closing time and I was the only one there but they still welcomed me and offered me the 5 star experience. The server was so friendly,sweet and attentive. The foood??!? OMG! Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and one of my favorite culinary experiences in the UK to date. Like I mentioned, I was the only person in the restaurant at minutes to 10 (closing time) but the chef took his time. The meals didn’t look nor taste rushed. Everything was fresh, hot and flavorful! I absolutely loved it. 10/10 highly recommend

Great food. What can I say. Only had the ribs this time with the Bonochi Garlic Bread and it was fantastic. Definitely be back on Mother's Day. I just wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try everything on the menu all in one night........oh and the food is probably half eaten in the pics because it just had to be dived into and eaten. This was, without question, one of the best Italian meals we have had the pleasure to enjoy. We had wanted to try this small, local restaurant for some time, and tonight, we were only left wondering, why we had waited so long. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. When we arrived, there was a large party leaving, who went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the food was and that they had brought visiting family there especially. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to return. A real hidden gem!

Good overall, the mixed salad, calamari, arancini were good, although my partner was disappointed the latter were covered with sauce, so lost their outside crispiness. I quite enjoyed the salmon main with the sauce and shrimp combination. I mean, the sauce could have less salt (as also could the calamari), but unfortunately it common for restaurant food. The chicken cacciatore was nice but spicy, which should probably be specified in the menu (the dish is usually very mild) - I had to finish it for my partner who does not enjoy that level of spiciness.

The food here is delicious, I particularly enjoyed the bruschetta. Staff are so friendly and thoughtful, went to extra effort for the birthday we were celebrating. Definitely deserves a visit!
