Bonvivant

Was craving steak frites and ended up ordering a wagyu steak to share (2 ppl). The meat was amazing, decent frites and sauces too. Was exactly what we were craving and we left very happy with our choice. The restaurant was very busy but the staff was nice and handled it well. Almost no waiting time for the food.

Every time we go to Bonvivant, it honestly just keeps getting better. It’s a really special place for my wife and me, and it never disappoints. You have to try the côte de cochon panée, it’s always perfectly cooked, super juicy and tender, with that crispy outside that makes it irresistible. The entrecôte de bœuf Simmental is consistently excellent, and the massive L Bone steak is spectacular. To start, we always go for the planche mixte, great cheeses, delicious charcuterie, homemade sourdough bread, and a good IPA to go with it. It never fails. And for dessert, the brioche perdue and the chocolate brownie are a must, especially with a great espresso and a glass of Chartreuse to finish. The service is excellent, the music is great, and the lighting makes every dish look even more delicious. It’s one of those places that just feels right. I seriously can’t wait to go back.

Warm welcome by the waiter. Had duck hearts & mushrooms followed by the Quail cordon blu, recommend by our waiter. The quail was the best we ever had. Breaded pork chop was cooked perfectly. Great place.

The service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. However, the food fell short of expectations, ranging from average to disappointing. Overall, I had hoped for a better experience.

Great experience at Bonvivant! Lovely atmosphere and an excellent selection of wine. We arrived just a few minutes before the kitchen closed, but the staff still welcomed us warmly. The food was exquisite—especially the breaded pork chop, which was a standout. The menu has plenty of tempting options, so I’m definitely planning to come back. We were a group of three, each had a starter and a main, along with a bottle of wine for all of us, and the total came to about €55 per person—well worth it!

We ate the côte de simmental. It was perfect. There is a crazy amount of drinks to choose from from Evert region in the world. I sincerly recommend! The people are very friendly!
