Great burgers! Fresh and made of good quality ingredients, taste like real food. The burgers are pretty big, and their suggestion to take a double patty to get the perfect bread to burger ratio is accurate. The biggest choice of flavors for milkshakes we've ever seen. Happy we were in the area and in need of food.

Sujud Charanek

Google
Delicious burgers with perfectly balanced flavors! The sauce and seasoning are just right, simple and not too much. Fresh ingredients and soft freshly baked burger bun. Reasonable prices, and great customer service. The staff is friendly and service is fast. You can enjoy a dine in meal or take it to go, and the ambiance is lovely. Recommended 10/10!

In a world where “retro” is currently in, this place is the real deal. I swear even the people who work here walked out of the seventies or 80’s. It’s very much a diner style, order your food at the counter and sit down and they’ll bring it to you. The service reminded me a bit of “Alice” and the diner therein. (If you’re under 45, you most likely won’t get that reference.) While I didn’t actually hear the gal at the counter say “Kiss my grits!”, it wouldn’t be a big stretch, lol. But she was friendly. The burgs are huge. Too much bun for me, but they’re certainly making sure no one walks out of there hungry. The fries are large portions too. Several milkshake flavors - I had licorice, it was great. If you’re in the area and you’re hungry, it’s a great place to pop in for a satisfying bite and a step back into childhood. (For those of us of a certain age, lol). There are also a few cool pinball machines to enjoy while you wait.

Love the pics on the walls.. food was awesome i had a Don't Fear the Reaper burger. See pics. Staff was super friendly and food was fast. Definitely will be back.

Google
Terrific meal tonight! Super friendly and responsive service and delicious burgers and onions rings and amazing milkshakes. Love the PB and also the mint chocolate chip. Very unique and quirky interior which was very entertaining. Bring quarters for the arcade games at the table!

Google
Great burger joint, one of the best in Calgary. I love that they minimize sauce and rely on the juicy-ness of their patties for the flavor. Tater tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. The servers were wonderful and friendly. While I personally prefer a crispy smashed burger, this place almost convinced me otherwise. Free street parking can be found a block north if the small parking lot is full.

Google
I've lived in Calgary my whole life, and have never been to Boogie's? What's wrong with me? What a great place. There was seven of us, and they cranked out our food super fast, and it was amazingly tasty, and an endless availability of creative burger options. We will definitely be back!

Google
I've always meant to stop by here for a burger, and I'm glad I finally did. Immediately the interior has such a great retro vibe, with arcade games and all sorts of memorabilia on the walls. I had the BoogMak and added a grilled pineapple on there because why not, you can do that sort of à la carte stuff here. It was delicious and exactly what I love in a burger. The blazin' saddles was also delicious, nothing like good mushrooms. The milkshakes were quite good and on the thinner side. Oreo was great, and there's a whole menu of "weird" flavours to try like maple syrup and bacon bits. I also really liked the fries and the plum sauce they have. Definitely worth a visit if you love burgers!

Yelp
I had not been to Boogies Burgers in quite a while. I went there in the last week of July.. Boogies still has the best burgers in all of Calgary.. Good service and good prices.. A++++++

Yelp
We ordered mushrooms burger and the " don't fear the reaper" burger. They were Delicious, well priced. This is an eatery with character! Definitely recommend it. Cheers.

Yelp
Decent quality burgers at a tolerable price. Unfortunately not a lot of flavour. The fries are sad and desperate to end their strongly fry lives. The poutine is a Travesty, an insult to all the proud people of the east who afire poutine as if it was their own child- which means cannibalism but that's weird and I digress. Coke machine was well maintained. Customer service was great. Ambience was A-, and the place was chilly for a 10c day.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Very good, friendly service and tasty food! A unique place to visit with a large menu. We would return!

Loiree J.

Yelp
A sodium bomb!! Everything tasted so salty that it was literally inedible. A shame, because the folks here seem pretty cool! Make sure that you're getting the hottest and freshest if you want to try here, to help with the saltiness. Takeout is NOT recommended!
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and servers were very welcoming and upbeat. We had the two-patty burger, Deb's Doggie burger, fries and tater tots. We also had a chocolate and Oreo shakes. Food was really good, fries were fresh cut and hot. The only negative for me was the shakes. They were really runny. They were good, I've just had better.

Ian M.

Yelp
One of the outstanding burgers in Calgary. Their spin on a cheeseburger is unconventional but amazing! Tater tots and spicy dip are the ideal sides. A hand spin shake with deliciously unusual flavour combinations is a great accompaniments. My favourites are the Angry Aztec (coffee, chocolate and cayenne) with hot hot heat for dipping the tots! Try the Don't Fear the Reaper burger if you enjoy a meat orgy! As satisfying as it gets!

Tim K.

Yelp
Terrific neighborhood type place with the best "retro-burger" (like back in the 50s/60s) we've enjoyed! Generous portions and excellent meat!

Yelp
Small establishment with great atmosphere and even better music. The are located in a small shopping plaza with limited parking but totally worth it. We got the Shwan burger and the poutine and both of them were a generous size and very tasty. Overall, The food was amazing and the service was even better. I will be back to eat here again.

Yelp
Just came here to see what the hype was all about since a few of our friends said boogies burger had the best burgers and my husband and I love burgers. The parking is terribly small and tight and very limited to 8 stalls. I ordered the mushroom burger for my husband and the Mac and cheese burger for myself and some onion rings it was a 20 min wait because it was quite busy when I was there at 2:00pm on a Friday. My husband thought the mushroom burger was the worse mushroom burger he ever tried even Anw and Wendy's mushroom melt was better and the menu said fried mushrooms none of the mushrooms were fried unless he saw it wrong. Then his mistake. The Mac and cheese burger was a 6/10 definitely not ordering that again the bun ratio to patty is off. The buns are way more thicker and dense than the beef patty and that's important to me when it comes to a juicy burger. The burger was not juicy and you can't really taste the beef when there's 70% bun and then 20% Mac and cheese and only 10% beef. The Mac and cheese wedges were thicker than the patty. I also didn't think mustard complimented this Mac and cheese burger well. I just had fat burger and smash burger the week before and both of those were 10x better than this place. I gave this place 2 stars for the friendly staff

Yelp
Great burgers and fries, will definitely be back. The atmosphere is casual and retro. Not fussy at all. Great for a satisfying meal with good service and friendly staff.

Yelp
I think the burgers here are incredible I'm actually really surprised at the negative reviews...... Every time I've been in there and the food is fabulous and very very cheap, great prices, great organization, everything runs like clockwork because the staff are fabulous.

Yelp
I loved this place! The menus are near the counter and an employee let us know so we can look at it. We decided to grab a table since it was busy before ordering. Our table was a converted donkey Kong video game machine. They had funny signs and photos around. Very cool place. And they only had Weezer playing! Love it. Once we knew what we wanted - we went back up and ordered. I got the Mac and cheese burger and onion rings. My friend got a regular burger, fries Mac and cheese bits, and spicy fries. We grabbed a seat and when our food was ready - our name was called and food ran to us. The burger was delicious! I loved the fried Mac and cheese bits inside! The onion rings also crispy and delicious. Spicy fries were no joke - def had a kick to them. We had a lot of food and were stuffed but still decided to get milkshakes! I asked if they can mix two flavors - and they did. I got chocolate banana! Yummmmm!! I would def be here all the time if I lived in the area. Food was great and every employee was genuinely nice and was personable when talking with us. Only downfall is the parking lot is tiny! We were from out of town so we weren't sure where to park and we came back around after 10 min and got lucky to grab a spot. Otherwise, we may not have enjoyed this place. Not sure if there are other places to park nearby.

Jonessa B.

Yelp
Staff are super nice and friendly. Was offered free hot tots because they made a mistake, which was really nice! ambiance of the place is cute and retro

Yelp
Amazing burgers here - and friendly staff. If you are hungry and love hamburgers, please check out this place. It is a serve-at-the-counter place for either take-out or dine-in. They have a large selection of hamburgers, local craft beer, or the familiar beers you would see at burger joints. It is kid-friendly, and so there are other beverages to choose from. Portions are great; the sides are extra because the burgers are that big. It is a busy place with many people coming in through the doors. I would give this place a 5 out of 5, but my only hang-up is the parking. Because so many people are coming in to eat, you must be patient and careful when you back-up because of the limited and odd-shaped parking lot. Amazing place overall - you have to try this place!

Yelp
Defiantly a place you want to come back to again and again! I ordered the Boog-Mak, Milkshake, and some french fries a few months ago ( just now got around to getting a Yelp account) WORTH YOUR MONEY! Not only is everything tasty you get your money worth! That burger was MASSIVE ( a little messy could have been I ordered from Doordash and it just got a little stressed on the ride) but who cares. I love this place so much! This Georgia girl gives it a 9/10!

Yelp
Vegan burgers galore...and of course hamburgers/cheeseburgers/milkshakes. You're in luck because this spot has been deemed Best Hamburger spot by Star Metro Calgary. Definitely an awesome local place with the friendliest folks working here. Will come back to visit every time I'm in Calgary. For the vegans - vegan cheese, Beyond burger, and great add-ons liked fried mushrooms or pineapples. See the menu and enjoy

Yelp
Holy Cow! I either just ate you, or the best burger ever! I've never been to this place and didn't know anything about it till today. The burger I had was the best burger I've ever had! I loved the atmosphere and the pictures and paintings on the wall. The prices were awesome, and the quality of the food was really good. Very helpful and funny and polite staff. I had Keith's burger and I finished my experience with mint chocolate chips milkshake! I think I consumed a lot of calories for lunch but I don't even care!!!!! I'll definitely go back there and this place is already one of my favourite places!

Yelp
Worth the pilgrimage! Hubs has been asking to try Boogies for some time now after it has been both regularly and highly recommended by some friends and colleagues. When we actually venture into the 'city' we always want to try something new (to us) and this time Boogies was on the slate. And sooooo glad we did! (So sorry it took this long, eh!) ;-p Service on all fronts was amazing! Thank you for the food recommendations and packing our to go bag with all the accoutrements we could possibly need! There are no 'sit in' tables right now (COVID), but a few picnic tables are available outside and/ or take out. The wait for food isn't long considering everything is made to order. I ordered a basic cheeseburger (keeping it simple) and Hubs got the Keith's burger based on a (delicious) recommendation by a front staff member. In hindsight we should have shared an order of fries because the portions are massive. They are also licensed as a foot note. Thank you for the fabulous lunch and we will be back sooner than later!

Yelp
I would 100% classify this gem as a dive! It was old school and delicious! The staff is super friendly and the food was spectacular! Great tasting beef, toppings, and buns. If you like spicy, get the spicy fries! Don't let the exterior fool you, go in and enjoy!

Elliott W.

Yelp
Really delicious burgers, friendly staff, quick service! I got the Pepperoni Burger and it was outstanding, I can't wait to bring my family!

Yelp
I found this place through a couple of websites as they said it was one of the good burgers for over 50 years. There's only street parking or parking lot further away. The service was nice. Many tables and places to seat. Clean. Well decorated, fitting to the atmosphere. There were bunch of arcade games I assume is usually allowed but closed at the moment because of the pandemic. The shakes were good. Many options to choose from and depending on the season they had their specials. For example, mini donut shake when I went. I liked how they had four different sizes. Kids, S,M and L. They weren't too sweet or sugary either which I personally prefer. The burgers were good. We tried four different kinds. Each with its own unique flavour and taste but all good. We got the original fries. I liked how they weren't too greasy and not overly salted. As Marda Loop is a trendy place, it's a nice place to stop buy and grab a bite.

Yelp
Great burger joint! Don't come in here with your dainty salad-eating, I-may-or-may-not-have-an-eating-disorder friend. Their burgers are big, filling and will leave you thinking you should skip dinner because you said, "yes" to the milkshake. I had the "boog-mac" which is their take on the McDonald's Big Mac. Because of my previous statement, I ordered the single patty! It was not exactly a "Mac Jr" more like a backyard grilled quarter pounder with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and thousand island dressing. It was really filling. The fried mac and cheese bites were okay. It looks like it was made with Kraft Dinner Mac and Cheese because of the tiny macaroni noodles. It's yummy if you like Kraft Mac & Cheese. As for the milkshakes, They're great! Mostly because they give you those thick bubble tea straws to drink out of. Awesome!!!!

Yelp
This review is based off my recent vacation to Banff/Calgary. Location/Service: The restaurant is relatively close to the airport, so it was a good grab before boarding the plane. Parking is very limited as it was in a very small plaza. It may look a little sketchy on the outside, but inside is very retro with a 1990s theme. Staff were all nice, attentive and friendly/easy to talk to. Food: Ordered the mushroom burger - they make the burgers fresh so the patty was well done and juicy. The mushroom sauce also added a kick to the burger along with fried onions. Portion was also enough for a quick meal - if you want to add fries/milkshake to that, would make a perfect lunch/dinner. There are a few burger joints around town and this unexpectedly was above my expectations - would definitely come back again if I'm in Calgary.

Yelp
Boogies has a classic and retro feel all the way from the lighting fixtures, yellow chairs, blue tables, to the arcade games(Ms. PacMan, Robocop, Burger Time and Street Fighter). The boys and I were wanting to give this place a try for a while now but haven't gotten around to doing so until today. Though there was a steady stream of customers, our friendly server Angela took the time to fill us in on the family history of Boogies (established in 1969). I ordered a Fay's Burger and it was super juicy and packed with flavour. The combination of the single beef patty with fried mushrooms with sauce, bacon, fried (not raw) onions, lettuce and tomato was a match made in heaven (and I'm crazy about mushrooms!). Hubby seemed impressed with Sam's Burger (single patty, Cheddar, fried egg, Boogies' signature red sauce, added bacon, lettuce, tomato). Don't be fooled by the thin burger patty, folks--it's so moist and juicy that you can see steam coming out of it after one bite! Our teenage son ordered Doug's "Don't Fear the Reaper" burger (four beef patties, four bacon slices, butterflied beef wieners, Cheddar, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, onion, and topped off with a mini corn dog). There was steam rising from the remnants of his beef patties even when he was down to his last four bites. Be warned, this burger is not for the faint of heart... Our side of yam fries were delightfully crispy and seasoned perfectly. There was not a single soggy fry in our order. My coconut milkshake was thick, rich, and topped generously with toasted coconut. I only wish that I had a wider straw. Boogies is definitely our favourite burger joint from now on!

Yelp
Staff were accommodating to our needs. The food was good. The atmosphere is fun. Overall a good burger joint.

Yelp
Very inviting. And food was worth it! Staff was friendly. Will return when we go back on a second alberta trip!! From ya'll buddies from winnipeg!

Yelp
1st time at Boogies burgers and very good! This is the Fays burger, fried mushrooms and bacon! I added some sprouts from home. Walked up and received order in 10 minutes at lunch hour. Will definately go back!

Yelp
Incredible incredible incredible, a burger lovers dream, plus shakes plus onion rings(by far the best in the city) plus poutine and deep fried KD triangles?! The food is fresh, very well made and will make you eat until you fall asleep. Prices are great for the amazing quality, they are probably underpriced to be honest. Bottom line this place will not disappoint. Only thing I would not pick on is remember to ask for your utensils and side sauces they were left out by mistake. Also the poutine sauce is bland, coming from Quebec the sauce is key to making a great flavour. The cheese is good and the fries are nice, just need to tweak the sauce. Other than that keep it up guys it's really really good!
google avatar

Allie W.

Yelp
This burger place is YUM. Is it the best burger restaurant in Calgary? Some people think so, I think it's one of the better ones but maybe not the best. The onion rings are so on point though. Definitely recommend this everyone to give it a try

Christopher H.

Yelp
Went there for the first time in over a decade. Really disappointed in the whole experience, the buns were triple the size of the burgers, the fries were over salted to the point where we could barely eat them and the shakes were made with powder rather than real fruit. Add in a really long wait for the food and I just don't get why this place is so highly recommended.
google avatar

Jai E.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. When I crave a burger, I need it to be amazing.... Or else? Anyway. This place is amazing. The burger was fresh and flavourful. I opted for the deep fried mac and cheese burger. The mac and cheese bits were the perfect crunch outside and good mac inside. We ordered the spicy fries for 3 of us to share. They were spicy. Not overbearing but a good amount of heat. The dining area is clean. A good selection of tables. You counter order and they bring you your food. Every one is friendly and welcoming. I felt like a regular even though it was my first visit. They have videos games!!! I wish I had more time to spend there. Next time, milkshakes.
google avatar

Yelp
Every burger I've had from here has been top notch. I've had the Boog-Mak, Deep Fried Mac-n-Cheese Burger, Blazin' Saddles, Regular Burger, Buffalo Chicken Burger, and Junes Jerk Chicken Burger. Hard to pick a winner out of those but for the beef burger I'd say the Boog-Mak and for the chicken I'd go with Junes Jerk Chicken Burger. I doubt you could go wrong with anything on the menu though. I've also had the onion rings and fries which good but the star of the show are their burgers...as they should be.

Ryley M.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place as it has gotten great reviews, but was only okay. The staff were nice, but burgers fell flat in flavour. I had the jerk chicken burger, and it did not have a lot of spice to it. Onion rings were okay, the jalapeño fries were pretty good. Overall, the time it takes you to find a parking spot and quality of food makes it not worth going back.

Jack L.

Yelp
Best burgers and milkshakes in town old-school, homey atmosphere with friendly service
google avatar

Kathy L.

Yelp
This classic diner style burgers and milkshakes are better than expected! We saddled up the infinity and beyond burger and the Jebb's doggie burger. The beyond burger was smoky and was a bit crumbly. As a meat lover, I don't think I will venture to into the infinity and beyond again. However, do not let me stop you from choosing your adventure! The doggie burger is something else. By butterflying the wiener, it really adds to the burger and takes it up another notch! We also had the Easter special, mini eggs milkshake and the young Elvis (pb+banana) milkshake. Overall the milkshakes had the right amount of sweetness and thickness.

Yelp
In my family, Boogies was a legend my dad would talk about from "before I was born". However, Boogies is different (much to his lamenting) and I assume it's because it's now a place for funky toppings and my dad is very much meat in bun when it comes to such things. I hadn't given Boogies much pause because I'm a vegetarian but I was eventually curious to check out the menu and discovered veggie patties (woot) and upon visiting I discovered I could make any burger with a veggie pattie which is just awesome to me. I've tried the mac and cheese burger this time, the spicy fries and a milk shake. I have to say I'm not a fan of the mac and cheese burger - the burger is good and the mac and cheese wedges are good but I don't really taste the wedges on the burger. Next time I'll have a burger and maybe wedges on the side. The fries are ok, but I didn't need a large as that was way too much of a good thing. The star of the trip was the milkshakes. Way better than a nearby iconic milk shake place - I made chocolate mango oreo and there were real bits of fruit and oreo in there that needed some chewing (this might be weird but I was pro chewing delicious shake bits). All and all I would go back.

Yelp
best burgers always come here for birthdays boog mac is the best burger i have ever had

Yelp
I wouldn't be surprised if someone said their milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard. Apparently this has been a long-time fixture in the Calgary area and it really seems that way. Their retro diner decor and menu appears like a good ol' time. I loved all the arcade games and pinball machines (and it works!) set up in this joint. Their menu may seem long but it's very simple with burgers, milkshakes, and a sprinkling of a few other things. Their burgers are cooked up and fresh. A very nice balance of toppings and meat. I got the deep fried Mac n' cheese burger - an excellent choice! The spicy fries are so so worth it. If you get a milkshake you'll be struggling to finish, but you might as well! I got the one that was a liquid PB&J sandwich.

Kelly J.

Yelp
Love this old school burger joint! My family has been enjoying their food and milkshakes for years and we keep coming back for the excellent quality and great service.

Yelp
Bright colours, retro show posters, Ms. Pacman and that satisfying feeling you get when they clip your receipt to the line and zing it into the kitchen, make this one of my favourite burger spots in town! Wait, even if you forget about all that awesome, the fan-freakin-tastic burgers make this one of my favourite burger spots in town! They don't aim to give you the thickest fattest burger you've ever had. They're actually kind of thin but they go on forever! Instead of serving a giant meatball, a Boogies burger is all about circumference and they dwarf the plate they arrive on. You will make a mess and you will have a good time doing it. By having a thinner , wider burger, they nail the bun to topping to meat ratio with every bite! Well, almost. Doing this perfectly is an impossibility. This ratio is the pi of burger building, but Boogies has it accurate to approximately 3261 digits. I've been working my way through the menu the last couple years and I haven't really found an absolute favourite. Jebb's Doggy Burger is a crafty concoction, with a filleted and fried hot dog adorning the top. A fantastic choice. I'd also be pretty quick to recommend the Deep Fried Mac 'n' Cheese Burger. Instead of a cheese slice, this monster has deep fried mac 'n' cheese wedges keeping your burger hot and gooey in the best kind of way. I guess what I'm really trying to say is: Go here for much yum!!!
google avatar

Wendy P.

Yelp
Every time I pop into Boogies, the sign outside makes me giggle. Go and have a looksee, you'll get what I'm talking about. The menu doesn't change daily, there's no current trend of biodegradable plates and cups or fries cooked up in duck fat. It's just good, giant burgers done up the way they've always been done... Served with a big steak knife sticking out of it because its too big to eat whole! There are no combos here either. You order your burger, add a side if you want. Milkshakes come in more than one size (the maple bacon one comes with real chunks of bacon in it) with is helpful when you just don't have the inner capacity to down a large one AND polish off that burger! My go to burger choices: Fay's burger Mushroom burger Buffalo chicken burger Last visit I tried the pizza burger. While the idea was novel, I'd enjoy it more if it used a spicy pepperoni or had a Hawaiian twist to it or something. No matter. Boogies still rocks my burger world! And vintage video games in the decor never get old either :).

Yelp
I can't say I have ever been to a restaurant in Calgary that evokes such deep nostalgic feelings within me. It's the embodiment of the retro-style burger place. In fact, sitting inside eating my Blazing Saddles burger with Yam Fries on top of a Donkey Kong table arcade game made me pause and think about how I was doing this exact same thing over 20 years ago. I had to smile because in those days it was just a single burger hold the onions (my mouth wasn't near as big as it is now) and I smashed buttons to 1942 rather than DK. A number of quarters were lost in the process! The burgers were stellar. Not just from a taste perspective, but I found them lighter and cleaner than say a Peter's burger. The yam fries had a really deep flavour. I was almost shocked at how much I enjoyed them because you just don't expect too much from burger joints these days. To top it all off, the service is amazing. The staff actually checked up on us twice to see if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was ok. It isn't cheap. $8 for a Blazing Saddles burger, $4.75 for a single, $2.50 for yam fries which puts it on par with Burger Inn territory. Given the choice of the two, I'd take Boogies over the Inn even though it's farther away for me. It's worth the ride! I love it here! One of my favourites in Calgary!
google avatar

Geoff B.

Yelp
Those familiar with Calgary know about Peter's Drive-in. It has become an icon of Calgary. Until recently, it was the only "burger and shake" type of place I knew about. A friend told me a few months ago about Boogie's Burger. We decided to go there one night for dinner. Good thing we were hungry! The burgers are massive! I decided on the "Boog Mac," their take on the Big Mac. It was amazing! In fact, we went back two weeks later and I ordered the same thing. One of these days I'll have to try on of the many other unique burgers they offer. The fries were good, too. Although my shake was made fresh, it wasn't as "chunky" with fruit as I would have liked (Peter's still wins in that category). The atmosphere was very nostalgic. It was littered with old posters and archaic video games. Unlike many other places that sell burgers and fries, it didn't smell greasy. I still have to try Rocky's Burger Bus, but until then, Boogie's is my favorite burger joint in the city.

Yelp
Boogies have been around since the 70s; in fact they still have their original menu posted on their very blue walls. Can you imagine paying $1.10 for a burger, $1.25 for a banana split, 40 cents and 60 cents for an ice cream cone and one dollar for a milkshake? So here we are forty years later and inflation didn't really take much of its toll on Boogies. Assorted burgers for fewer than 8 bucks and a great selection of milkshakes at $3.75. I personally have problems with the name Boogies but for the sake of my review and for your appetites I will keep this problem to myself. The interior is so fun, there are vintage gaming machines spread around the store, there is a tacky kitschy mural of a beach on its one wall and of course we can't forget the "Employee of the Month wall". Man these dudes are handsome, David Hasselhoff, Beef Supreme, a mug shot of James Brown, Forest Gump. Dammnn...Some really good looking hunks up there (see photos) The waitress was also an added decoration to Boogies with her great tattoos and purple hair, she was really attentive and totally laid back. And just like the scene the Menu was totally laid back as well; in fact your can add anything to your burger, mozza or cheddar, a fried egg, wieners, an extra chicken breast, pickles, or banana peppers. You can add any of these fixings to their plus 20 burger selections. What I found most interesting however were the shake flavours, bubblegum, creamsicle, banana tiger, root beer, macaroon, peanut butter and banana which is the young Elvis and the Fat Elvis which is peanut butter, banana, and bacon. Hilarious! I myself indulged in a mushroom burger with mozzarella cheese and a butterscotch milkshake and my total bill came to a whopping $11. This is a 100% grade A burger folks with a big bun, I digress by saying it would be great if they had a whole wheat bun option, I am not really a white bread fan. At first I started eating it with a fork and knife and later dove into it with my hands, and l don't know what it is about a burger but it tastes so much better when you eat it in your hands. It was definitely tasty, not the best burgers I have ever had mind you but nonetheless good. All around 4 stars from the reviewer, I promise to come back Boogies to try out your yam fries and to gaze lovingly at your Employee of the Month wall once again.

Yelp
Yum!!! This place always has a line! It can be drafty inside during winter months from the door being opened. The staff are amazing! The tater tots... well They're delicious AF! Gotta love them little tasty taters. Burgers are incredible but only if you order in. Take out their quality decreases substantially. The gluten free bun was dry!! Don't go there for gluten free.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Boogies' for several years but as I was in the neighborhood, right at opening time, I decided to give them a try. After waiting for 40 minutes, for a simple burger and fries, I finally had to ask for my money back. The staff agreed to refund me my money only after I got insistent. To add insult to injury, I received excuses but no apology and was offered a buy a burger, get the second one free coupon. BOGO does not compensate for a 40 minute wait to not get food. I will not be returning. #boycottboogiesburgers

Yelp
This place will become a staple of my visits to Calgary. Push up your sleeves, make sure you get extra napkins and open wide. Our burger cravings were satisfied after a long day and it came with a side of sweet video games, and milk shakes so good your eyes will bug outta your head.
