Book Nook - Toys Games and More

This place is a Caymanian institution. I grew up coming here every weekend as a kid to spend my allowance money on books... the owner Ms. Barbara and her team played a huge role in my love of reading (which informed my academic focus, and, ultimately, my career). I'm in my late 30s now and living off-island, but we're back multiple times a year. I'm happy to say that Book Nook still rules - I buy most of my books here on island, and my young son loves spending time here as much as I did when I was a kid. The selection and vibe are great, but that's honestly secondary to what makes Book Nook so special. It's a wonderful, high-integrity local business that's fostered a love of reading for generations of Caymanians and visitors.

This was a cute little store with a nice selection of books and toys. It had a large children’s section too with some toys for kids to play with while you browse. Not a tourist trap.

Incredible business!! Long story short: I called about a book my sister wanted, not only did they immediately know which book I was referring to, but they even stayed open an extra few minutes for us to run in and grab the book! AND they allowed us to buy more, off of their recommendation! This company is a small business and an incredible example of how businesses should be run! Exceptional customer service and kindness!!

I've been coming here since I was a child, though I have returned more recently. There is something about this store that makes you feel at home. They have great prices and will special order for you (a service I have used several times, with no complaints). On top of that, they have the coolest collection of toys, trinkets, board games, craft items, you name it. I love this store and highly recommend it.

BookNook is great. I have been using them for over 10 years for ordering books and children’s gifts. I order some pretty obscure books and only a handful of times over the years they haven’t been able to source them. The staff is always very pleasant which makes shopping there and ordering with them such a pleasure. Thanks BookNook for your awesome service over the years!

Book Nook is waaay more than books! I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the store to see so many things other than books! As a tourist, there were souvenirs I liked, but my biggest regret was not having enough room in my luggage for all I WISHED I could buy! Book Nook is a GREAT store for both tourists and the lucky locals.

i ordered a book through them and was called and told the book was ready, when i came to collect i was told that it was an error and no one had called me prior to to let me know of the error, so i wasted my time coming in there. Finally when the book arrived and i came in to collect it, the price more than 50% of what i was quoted when i initially ordered the book through them, very disorganized.
