Book World Trading (Used and New Books)

4 stars for the huge selection of books & the largely consistent range of prices (20-50). They have classics, lots & lots of fiction & a good section for non fic. Not as many used books. It has a cozy feel to it & it’s quiet too. Staff was super kind & accommodating to find any authors books. Also, the bookshelf’s have a sliding mechanism which is very cool (but also means that you can’t see some of the books as easily!) A must go for anywhere near the area.

I thought I would not find much medical books here. But lo and behold, I bought a clinicopathology book for a reasonable price. It was almost brand new (but not the latest), save for the handwritten name of the doctor who owned it before (personally, I think that it’s a nice addition). There were a lot of Ob/Gyne books, including those way back 1992! If you are looking for young adult novels (there are tons of these!), books by Michael Crichton, Agatha Christie, some children books, IELTS reviews, dictionaries, Arabic books, Archie comics, some mangas and magazines, this may be your place. Music lessons for piano, clarinets, flutes, and guitars are also available. Sadly, they do not have songbooks my father was looking for. You may also negotiate prices, just ask their accommodating staff if it’s possible. Hoping to come back and find some treasure again. Thank you :)

A true Hidden gem and a diamond in the rough. It contains all sorts of books for all ages and tastes. Located in Al Satwa area, where u can get all kinds of used books in different languages. Check for the offers and returnable items.

Lady at the counter was polite. Variety of books. If prices could be lowered, it will be more affordable considering the fact that the books are not like original company copies.

Not very big but you can find great books with very good prices if you spend some time and search. New ones are not cheap but pre-loved :) ones have reasonable prices. Look what I have found!

Good adress to find books in several languages, at good prices

A jewel in the midst of the crowded Satwa in Dubai. Though the space is a bit small and it's not easy to find the book cos it's not properly arranged. the store keeper is kind and friendly.
