Greeted with a warm welcome from Jane, who has a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding area and beyond. |The guesthouse is situated perfectly away from the city of Wellington, but it is near enough to walk to. At the back of it, a quiet & and beautiful park leading up to Mt Victoria. The guesthouse was quirky and comfortable and interesting. The bed & shower were fantastic. |The breakfasts are plentiful & delicious. Jane was a fabulous host. Thank you||

Jane is an excellent hostess and went out of her way to help us weary travellers. The rooms were spotless cosy and comfortable. Perfect location as the main bus stops outside the B&B. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our NZ trip in September. We had a fabulous stay at Booklovers BnB and really enjoyed the view from the bedroom window, as well as the overall fabulous location of the place. The accommodation was quiet and comfortable but also within walking distance to great food and bars. We also loved hiking at Mount Victoria, which was right next door. The lovely breakfasts were most welcome too! We highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Wellington!

What a lovely place with a lovely host. The house is exceptional with lovely, large rooms and air-con. Bus stop right outside the door is handy for the city and Jane is so helpful and obliging. We changed our schedule two days before, turned up early to check in, and had a very early breakfast to meet the ferry on check out day - not one problem for Jane who is also a mine of information on where to go and where to eat. Very enjoyable.

Great location. Walkable to most places, but bus stop right outside if prefer to use. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast provided. Free parking. Jane was delightful, helpful in educating us the many highlights of Wellington. If you enjoy hiking, trail to Mount Victoria is right next to her home.

We were lucky enough to stay at the Booklovers B & B in Wellington and hosted by Jane. She is a wonderful host and welcomed us to her city with such happiness and enthusiasm. We had a lovely downstairs room and the accommodations were great - a comfortable bed, hot shower and plenty of books to look over. Jane gave us great information about how to make the most of our time in Wellington and her home is so perfectly located - close to the city center and yet close enough to walk to Mount Victoria. A perfect gem of a place.

Booklovers Bed & Breakfast is a very unique Wellington experience. This older accommodation had a comfortable and welcoming feel, and we were able to walk to everything in Wellington. Breakfast was excellent and a fun experience with an interesting mix of travelers. Jane was a friendly host and quite fascinating to engage. Jane made us feel welcome in a way that made us feel like guests in her own home. We would recommend Booklovers for a great Wellington experience. This was a memorable stay.

Eclectic, homely, welcoming. Jane has set up a comfortable haven where conversation is natural and the accommodation ticks all the right boxes.|My room was all I expected, no corporate styling but a feeling of actually being invited into someone’s home to be looked after.
