I’ve been a customer of Books-A-Million at Sawgrass Mills for years, and it’s always a pleasure to visit. They have a fantastic selection of books across all genres, plus a wide variety of magazines and collectible editions. One of my favorite things is their bargain book section, you can always find hidden gems at great prices. The store is well-organized, staff are helpful, and it’s the kind of place where book lovers can easily spend an hour just browsing. Highly recommended if you're at Sawgrass and need a good read or just want to treat yourself to something new.

You don't see too many brick and mortar book stores around anymore which is why I am glad that Books-A-Million has been able to hang in there at the Sawgrass Mills Mall. Books-A-Million has a long history going all the way back to 1917 in Florence, Alabama, when 14 year old Clyde W. Anderson began a news stand business to support his family after the death of his father. From these humble beginnings Clyde's son, Charles C. Anderson expanded the books store left to him by his father into a chain of stores. Today they are the second largest chain of book stores in the U.S. operating close to 300 stores in more than 30 state. Books-A-Million is bright and inviting. They have a large selection of books from classics to the latest bestseller and periodicals but they also sell games, greeting cards, toys, T-shirts, collectibles, candy, house hold goods, collectibles, and more. I especially love their Florida section. This is the kind of store where it is easy to find a gift for that hard to shop for person. I have purchased a lot of presents here through the years as well as the latest beach book. I always discover something unique whenever I stop in. You can order books online but there is something so satisfying about going into a bookstore and holding the books in your hands as you make your decision. That is why this is always a top stop in the mall for me.

This store has a lot of interesting books and a large collection of journals! You can spend about an hour exploring everything they have, from Harry Potter books/items to manga and fun sci-fi literature. They also have beautiful stationary for various tastes. The shop is inside the mall.

With all the online options, it was so refreshing to walk into a book store. This spot is great, even more so for children options. The store is jumping with people with nice selections. I went specifically looking for a Bible.

Google
Nostalgic bookstore with tons to offer. I saw many great deals. The place is setup nicely. I miss the days of getting coffee at these stores.

Google
Very good bookstore with a wide variety of books and merchandise that was well organized. The prices were a little high, however I am not too concerned since it’s at a tourist destination.

I was just there yesterday and I accidentally left my umbrella while paying for my items, we'll someone saw that and gave it to the cashier, and she held it just in case I came back for it. Well, I did come back, so Thank you to whoever saw me accidentally leave my umbrella, and Ithank you Books A Million for holding it for me.

Yelp
We stopped by BAM! to look for mugs and Disney items. They are located next to Neiman Marcus Last Call. They have a pretty good selection of Disney backpacks as well as Marvel Lounge Fly items. The prices are very reasonable too. There are also lots of stuffed animals, clothing, books, cards, toys. It is a large, well--laid-out store with nice decor. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It will remind you of a smaller Barnes and Noble bookstore but newer with more variety. We look forward to going back there again!

Yelp
A strong competition with Barnes and Nobles I guess. This is a smaller version but packed with books from every genre. Lots of scary and best seller books on the racks. Plenty of plush toys and books in the Kids section. Huge magazine wall too. T- shirt area to the left and a good size check out area to the right. Book prices are decent.

Yelp
This is a huge bookstore located inside the Sawgrass Mill Outlet mall. I have been to many other Books-A-Million stores since many of my friends are avid book readers. The company was founded in 1917 as a street corner newsstand in Florence, Alabama. Today, Books-A-Million has grown to become a familiar bookstore chain in the Southeastern United States, and the second largest book retailer in the nation. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, the company currently operates more than 260 stores in 32 states and the District of Columbia. Books-A-Million stores like this one in Sunrise, range from 4,000 to 30,000 square feet and provide an expansive selection of books, magazines, bargain books, collectible supplies, toys, technology and gift departments, as well as special category shops within the store. It's such a pleasure to shop here...the amount of options for gifts, books and records is amazing and the employees are always walking around to see if you need any help.

Yelp
I am in Florida every few weeks and usually wind up in Sawgrass Mills Mall for a shopping trip and a fun lunch at the food court. I really like my perusing experience through 'Books a Million.' I have been here many times and never know what new item (or book) I am going to find. This shop is big...really big and very bright. It's an inviting atmosphere. Their team members are also very friendly and helpful. They sell a lot more than books. The front of the store is filled with a plethora of plushies, knick knacks, posters, and memorabilia stuff. There are the standard tables of best sellers, but most of the books are towards the back. It is a surprisingly big store. I think of it as a Barnes and Noble on one level without the coffee cafe. Prices are pretty much same in most book stores. They have their deals if you join their club or buy multiple items. They also have quite the magaize collection. I always wonder if they have every magazine published. It's a hug display of everything about everything. The store is well maintained and there always seems to be a team member close by. Always a fun stop at this location. KUDOs to the team at Books-A-Million in the Sawgrass Mills Mall.

Yelp
Oh my how I forgot how much I love this bookstore. I used to spend all my weekends at the Sawgrass Mills Mall. Well Saturday's most of the time. When my daughter came home during college we headed to the mall and this bookstore was a must. There's nothing like holding a book in your hands and escaping into the story. If you love bookstores I suggest you visit! If you can't find a book that interests you in this store then you got a problem.

Yelp
Books-A-Million it is basically the younger version of Barnes & Noble. While both of them sell a lot of the same things Books-A-Million always seems to be more current when it comes to the items they sell. Not only do they sell books, hence the name, but they sell action figures, trinkets, comic books and vinyl records. The very front of the store is loaded with pop culture items such as Funko Pops, shirts with cool and funny designs on them, even plushies that are based around horror movie characters that are quite adorable. The layout is easy to navigate and if you need anything you can ask anything wonderful staff members here who will go out of their way to find an item you need. The variety of comic books they have here is surprisingly fast and what is cool is they are collections of a multitude of issues so you don't have to buy each issues separately you can buy one book that will come with 6 or 7 issues depending on what you were looking for! The prices here for some of the items are a little ridiculous though and that is the reason why I'm knocking off the star. For the exact same item that you can find on Amazon or a warehouse store such as Walmart the items they have here are five to six dollars more. Other than that one little issue I always love coming in here and just walking around because I always have new items that are funny and cool to look at! They also have all the new release books and a variety of candy and knickknacks to look at

Yelp
Anytime I'm at the Sawgrass mall I need to stop here so I can see all of the fun little Trinkets and goodies they have as well as pick up a new book to read! The location is very large and everything is laid out perfectly and easy to find. All of the pop culture items such as Funko Pops, t-shirts, plush items and even fun candles and candy are located in the very front of the store. They also have comics as well as vinyl records and calendars....oh yeah and books lol! The prices here are very understandable and sometimes even being a little bit cheaper than Barnes & Noble which is a good plus because it is also closer to me than Barnes & Noble. The staff here is very friendly and we'll go out of the way if you are looking for an item in particular and will even help you look for it online in case you need to order it from there. They always have all of the hot new books that have just been released and they are always having some amazing deals such as up to half off best seller books that they leave near the front of the store on a few parts for infants in the center.

Yelp
Books-a-million brings back memories when i ordered books on the internet. it was awhile ago. it wasn't from Amazon. it was from Books-A-Million. i didn't stop buying from dissatisfaction. after a few times, i just stopped buying new books. there wasn't anything i urgently wanted to read. i mostly read items from the internet, periodicals or bought used books from thrift shops. there were also libraries. it was mostly movies that got my attention. less effort, passive entertainment.

Yelp
Love the store every time at saw grass I must stop at this store. This store is across from the food court. I love the current books and all the trinkets and toys. I was able to buy a few dinosaurs for my friends kids and I also bought a hat for my cat. They have records and all kinds of stuff. You can even get a member ship called the millionaire for 25 a year and get ten percent off on purchases as well as other promotions for further savings and bigger discounts.

Yelp
All things Harry Potter and the customer service is so friendly and helpful. Lots of quality items for every level of reader. Manga and Harry Potter fans are in a great space here. Collectible Figures, Cookbooks, Board Games, Backpacks, also Magic The Gathering Cards. If you are somehow in here before a flight - pack what you can into your carry-on before you flight off.

Yelp
I was in Sawgrass Mills Mall and saw Book a Million. I have seen it a thousand times, but never had the time to go in a browse. This place reminds me of a Borden's books I used to shop at when I worked in New Jersey forever ago, so nostalgia factor was high. They sell a lot more than books. The front of the store is a cacophony of plushies, knick knacks, posters, and memorabilia stuff. There are tables with best sellers, bit most of the books are towards the back. It is a surprisingly big store. Prices are the same in pretty much every book store, they had a few percentage off books and merch, but all the stuff at front are a little pricey for my liking. Still I got me a polemon plush. The store is somewhat neat, the front is chaos, but where books are is well organized. Unfortunately we see less and less of these stores thanks to the era of digital everything, but it is still nice to hold an actual book in hand once in a while. This store is a great stop for that.

Yelp
Lots and lots of books on sale. The kids love this place. The staff is very helpful and attentive. I have had some really great experiences in this book store. I bought a membership last year and recently renewed it last month. And although I'm not buying books every week, my daughter gets enough use out of it for the both of us. My only criticism is the collectables seem kind of pricey, but I don't know enough about collectibles to know. Guest I won't be collecting.

Yelp
This store was very clean and had a good stock on books. It wasn't too crowded so you could walk easily.

Yelp

Yelp
I love books and coffee. Books-A-Million has both! Shhhh.... this is one of the cheaper coffee shops in the mall and just as good if not better then the rest. Oh... and they have books too. Besides that it's a great rest stop right in the middle of the mall if you're doing end to end shopping.

Yelp
I've never enjoy a book store as much as I did here. You can bring all family cause they have a little bit of everything, even if someone at home don't really do books. So recommended even if you want to buy a gift or talk about your last/next story.

Beth M.

Yelp
How sad. Step in for return and 1st assistant says I can't handle returns or exchanges, wait for her and points, second one says I can't handle those I'll call manager, manager then says I can't exchange let me call another. 15 minutes later she shows up to state sorry we can't help you exchange your duplicate gift for anything else. The book was clearly tagged with Books A Million on it. I imagine it's hard for book stores as a book could be read and returned but really? A children's Christmas gift. I certainly my will not recommend friends or family to ever go there.

Yelp
Why aren't there more of these closer to Miami!? I LOVE this bookstore! They have all the brand new best sellers, all the old classics, and plenty of knick knacks to keep you entertained. The customer service is phenomenal. Everyone is helpful and goes out of their way to help you find the book you're looking for! I even signed up for their membership!
google avatar

Yelp
worst place in the world. You have to walk 6 miles in before you see a book and i the won't ring you up unless you buy a discount card!
google avatar

Yelp
Books-a-million is a good place to buy books and read them at your leisure, to just see if you like them or not interested in them at all. the employees and staff are very helpful and considerate and will help you locate books you are looking for. they will also order books that you are looking for,and pre-order books that have not yet come out or do not have in stock. if you're looking for a certain book definitely go to Books A Million!

Yelp
This was a really nice bookstore ,muchbetter than most of the bookstores we have up in NJ. It was pretty big just as good as any barnes and nobles i've seen (but not quite as big as barnes and noble.) Oh and there was a display of a person who collects mustache related things. mustaches always deserve 5 stars. there was a whole section devoted to comics and other geeky stuff. so i'd say it beats the stuff i see in NJ, has mustaches, and its comics rivaled that of some of the small comic shops i've seen.

Yelp
A group of friends and I had gone to this location after my birthday dinner to purchase products last night. A male came up to us as we were holding a conversation and rudely "asked" if we needed any help while scowling at us with his face. I replied that we did not and were just waiting on our other friends to finish picking their product choices. Instead of either letting us know the store was closing or even going to other customers to see if they needed help, this (I'm assuming the manager on duty) just stood there and kept staring for about a minute before walking away and hiding in the back of the store. He was very unprofessional with his tone and body demeanor. He never once approached other customers that were walking 5 minutes till closing to ask the same question nor to let them know the store was about to lock the doors. The only person who was professional and did her job properly was the nice young lady who was at the cash register. She ended up walking around and with a pleasant attitude and letting other customers know that they had a few minutes left to finalize their purchases. I decided not to purchase any of the products that I wanted due to the rudeness and discrimination I encountered at the store. A person that holds a management position should always pay attention to their demeanor while engaging with customers as to not come off as unprofessional. Personally, I would rather pay the extra few dollars at another store or online and avoid entering that mall location ever again.

Yelp
i called yesterday 10/4/17 early afternoon around 1pm and asked them about the comic-con limited edition funko pop items and told me that the items will be available by thursday 10/5/17 as the funko pop website informed, when i came early today and now they are all sold out and telling me that they started selling the items yesterday, first you cant be selling items before the release date, second and we know the store staff bought it by themselves, retail is $15 and now when i go look online for sellers within 10miles radius around this store are selling it $80-100 a piece, this store is a crook and scammer for limited edition items, same thing happened last year too btw, if you are looking for release limited collectors items STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

Suji D.

Yelp
Wouldn't exchange books that were still in new condition and with receipt. They were also best sellers not sale books. just make sure you really want what you are buying because you cant take it back
