5 Best Day Trips from Hong Kong

"Outfitted with bright green furniture, a wall of bookshelves, and lots of wood accents all around, Bookworm Cafe has the kind of eclectic-cool vibe that makes you want to return again and again. The vegan-friendly café is set on Yung Shue Wan's main street, so local Lamma residents regularly show up for weekend brunch (plan accordingly if you're there on Saturday or Sunday). The menu, meanwhile, revolves around locally grown organic fruit and vegetables. In addition to the delicious lunch options—homemade soups, curries, burgers, pizza, veggie calamari—there’s also an enticing brunch menu and gluten-free baked goods." - Kate Springer

Nice place to have lunch with salmon salad and pizza You need to wait a little bit longer in waiting the delicious food

It was the right choice for spending a quiet afternoon in the weekdays reading. Seats were comfortable and we stayed for more than 2 hours. The pasta could be better as there was still sand in the clam The coffee costed over $40 and was made by machine.

Lovely cafe along the main street in Yung Shue Wan. The dishes were very generous as well as being reasonably priced and very tasty. A very eclectic selection of books can be found on the book shelves. I highly recommend it and look forward to next time.

Fresh ingredients. We tried fresh shrimp pasta and French fries. Cold brewed coffee is good. Spent an hour for lunch in Lamma island during COVID-19

Pizza and fries were amazing. The truffle mayo fries were fried well and the sauce was delicious! Nice atmosphere and staff, def recommend.

We waited litteraly 1 hour and a half for a pizza. We were a group of 8 people, the first person was served 15min after ordering, and the last person about 1 hour and a half after ordering. Service was so poor, no explanations regarding the late service and not a even an apology for the wait.. They make you pay when you order so we could not even leave. Food is ok, the location is great and the vibe/decoration of the cafe is really cool, but unfortunately service really needs to be improved

Open 10 minutes late. First, she got my order of pasta vongole. Later said no vongole. So I changed order to quinoa salad. Salad was fresh & good. The staff kept talking each other very loud. Not comfortable.
