Lovely lunchspot in the city centre of Ghent (close to Gravensteen castle) with a large peaceful terrace/garden in the back and also a small terrace in the front along the street. They have a nice selection of delicious and healthy lunchdishes like the seasonal salads and the home-made desserts are also very tasty and beautifully presented. The perfect lunchspot when in Ghent!

OMG! This place is So Awesome! All food homemade on site. Its so fresh! And so Good!! First place Ive been where I actually ate all my food.... since I last cooked! The proprietor, Sarah, is such a blessing! Dont be deterred by this restaurant being vegetarian, the food is all so good you wont even notice. Something for everyone! Your tummy will thank you for having lunch here!! And when you have stoped being captivated by your meal? The views inside and out are amazing!

Amazing breakfast that makes the views even more enjoyable! You can’t go wrong with oats and fresh fruits and the croissant really hit the spot! Would definitely recommend fuelling up here before enjoying the beautiful city of Ghent!

I didn't expect such a great restaurant in a tourist spot like this. The service was nice, the food healthy and very delicious! Totally recommend it!

A friendly spot next to the castle. Good was good, service with a smile. Prices are what I would expect in a tourist location. A little over priced, but you are sitting right next to the castle. With a visit.

The soba salad may have been one of the best meals I’ve ever had. And the chocolate mousse is to die for. Incredible.

Actually the restaurant was fully booked, so make sure to reserve your spot. But we were lucky and could sit outside in the sun. This was by far the best homemade vegan meals we ever had. The stew was just fantastic. Also the desert was mindblowing. Thanks so much to the Chef.

What a lovely place. I tried the pea milk alternative was lovely. So nice for local businesses supporting young people trying to start/ make a living as this place is doing with the pea milk named Tiptoh

A great place for excellent quality, creative and healthier fare than merely meat and potatoes. The restaurant is brought contemporary, casual and nicely designed. It always seems to be busy, and with many locals. The salads look amazing and the ingredients well thought out. I had a chili sin carne which was as it sounds, with everything tidily arranged in groups. The guacamole is house made and amazing. So smooth. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Although they were quite crowded the staff and servers had a handle on it, and still kept a smile. I had a light beer that was quite refreshing with the dish, and a side order of the sourdough bread that was equally delicious. A very nice alternative to typical traditional Belgian fare.

An absolute must visit! Located between some of Gents most popular tourist spots, this restaurant is serving up delicious health focus foods. The staff were welcoming, helpful in translating things for us and even recommended the dishes we ended up getting. The interior is cozy with a good bit of seating, they're incredibly popular and i'd recommend making a reservation! The quiche of the day was so yummy I actually told my friends i needed to learn how to replicate it back home. They have a rotating seasonal menu and use foods sourced locally. After a long trip of eating out, the fresh and filling food at Boon was just what I needed.

Absolutely the best food. I had quiche, and my husband had chili. Both wonderful. Drinks were great, a nonalcoholic lemon ginger iced drink. It was busy, but they managed to fit us in. This is the best meal we have had in Ghent. Looking forward to dessert. Lemon posset.
