"From beginner terrain to the technically insane, Bootleg Canyon offers mountain biking trails that make it a destination for those in the scene. Hidden in the periphery of Boulder City, it was originally a secret shortcut to deliver booze to the then dry Hoover Dam site. The only lawbreakers you'll find now are those defying gravity on two wheels, and it's great fun to watch." - jmagsgraphics

This is one of the best trailheads in the greater Las Vegas area and I highly recommend checking it out with your mountain bike! It is pretty rocky but some of the trails are not bad compared to other areas. The free ride park is definitely a highlight and has lots of choose your own adventure style trails.

This place has some of the gnarliest trails for mountain biking. Don't trust the online map/stats - a "descent" can be quite a workout, and a "modest" 500' climb can have plenty of uneven rock along the way! Trails are very well marked, and the rating system (blue/black/d-black) is pretty accurate IMO. Shuttle service exists on weekends, but it's not a long pedal up

Gateway to a variety of awesome mountain bike and paved bike trails. Trails range from awesome downhill double black diamond super gnar to more mild. Also a great spot for hiking, off roading etc.

This place is amazing for mountain biking and hiking, we even got to see some grass on the valley. Pretty views of Lake Mead too!

It's a beautiful place for those who enjoy nature and wildlife. It is not trashed with litter. The people who come here to ride bikes, or hike take great care in preserving it.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! Wish there was camping nearby, but there isn't. They have showers, bike parking, lots of vehicle parking, a shaded picnic area, a grill, and all the trails you'd ever want to ride. Shuttle options available at All Mountain Cyclery.

I enjoy coming here. Lots of bike action. Good views. Hiking trail on the other side of the mountain. Close to a cool town

First time at bootleg canyon. Blues are doable but areas of challenge. Blacks and double blacks are mountain climbing! Two days and I'm wiped. Bring armor!
