I recently had lunch at Bootlegger Coffee Company in Harrington street and it was a pleasant experience.
I had the tomato soup, which was one of three soups of the day. This tomato soup, paired with a pesto and mozzarella toasted sandwich, is my favorite from Bootlegger’s menu, and I having enjoyed it at other locations before. The staff was very accommodating, preparing a cheese-only toasted sandwich for my friend. My partner had the club sandwich, which he also enjoyed. They also have a display with ready-to-go sandwiches and pastries. A good amount of seating is available. Lovely area to sit and enjoy a coffee while looking out on the street. You do have to use a bathroom outside the restaurant. It seems like a communal bathroom for all the shops in the building that this Bootlegger branch is located in. The bathroom was not very clean.
The service was good, and the location is convenient, right near a plant store, a bike store, and an array of other cafe’s, bars, and shops. The place was decently clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was good. Overall, a nice spot for a relaxed meal or quick coffee break. Bootlegger’s prices are also fairly good in comparison to many other cafe’s and restaurants in the area.
