Bootlegger Green Point

Unfortunately not open at 7am as advertised on a Saturday. They were ‘still setting up’… 5 minutes is really not a big deal but staff were apathetic about it. A friendly acknowledgment and ‘good morning’ would have gone a long way. No pastries were available until 7.30am). Small observations but they make for a poor first impression. Perhaps they were having a one-off bumpy start. On a positive note - the coffee is really good here and the venue is lovely. It seems coffee is discounted before 8am here. The Barista was also super friendly as we were leaving which left a better final impression.

This coffee shop has a fantastic atmosphere with great coffee and delicious food to match. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely fun to chat with, which makes the experience even better. We were able to comfortably work on our laptops while still enjoying time together. Even when it’s busy, it never feels too loud or overwhelming. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it an easy place to settle in for a while. Highly recommend for both getting work done and relaxing.

I came in alone for dinner and was truly touched by the service I received. Khatu made me feel like I wasn’t dining alone at all — her warmth and friendly presence made all the difference. Even while attending to her other guests, she made time to check in on me with genuine care. Her product knowledge was impressive, and her recommendations were spot on. Khatu, thank you for turning a simple solo dinner into a memorable and comforting experience. Exceptional service — you truly have a gift for making people feel seen and welcome!

Good location, efficient service. If coming for work, you do need to come early as there are limited charging ports - but staff is very accommodating and helpful with this and all other issues you may have. Food is high quality (although not halal)

Really spacious, and trendy/classy looking restaurant. I had the coconut yogurt oats, shakshuka, and an apple turnover. I think they do a good job with natural ingredients and bringing out the flavor in them.

Family and I was just looking for a place to drink a wake up coffee and oh WOW,we really enjoyed ourselves,from the waitress, Charlene to the food,we had an e xtremely nice experience. Loved the relaxing atmosphere. We were on the main road,but never even felt like it. Highly recommended.

Service was a disappointment. I ordered soup and it was delivered very late yet cold. I communicated the situation so the waitress offered to sort it out but still this took more than 20 minutes so I had to follow up and the manager went to the kitchen😭😭. I complained to the Manager Chris who apparently has zero customer care and has an inability to handle customer complaints, He did not show any care. The waitress was Amy, she offered me the worst of service. I am a Bootlegger Person as I enjoy collecting points on the loyalty app but this experience was really off-putting. I told the manager how loyal I am to Bootlegger,but apparently his response shows loyalty means nothing to him. (Check my screenshot for my Coffee Coupons, each for every 10 cups of coffee)

The food was fine, but the smoothies were a let-down. They tasted like they were bulked up with too much ice, which felt like cutting corners rather than offering good value.
