I came in alone for dinner and was truly touched by the service I received. Khatu made me feel like I wasn’t dining alone at all — her warmth and friendly presence made all the difference. Even while attending to her other guests, she made time to check in on me with genuine care. Her product knowledge was impressive, and her recommendations were spot on. Khatu, thank you for turning a simple solo dinner into a memorable and comforting experience. Exceptional service — you truly have a gift for making people feel seen and welcome!

I really love Bootlegger and go there for coffee almost every day, but this visit on a Sunday afternoon was unfortunately disappointing :( We came for a relaxed lunch, hoping to read and get a bit of work done, but the service didn’t meet the usual standard. We had to remind the staff about most of our order: No cutlery was brought to the table; The food came cold; We got regular fries instead of sweet potato; The grilled cheese wasn’t grilled, and the cheese was barely melted. The food itself was still tasty, but the overall service and energy from our waitress made us feel pretty unwelcome. She avoided eye contact, was hard to get hold of, and seemed uninterested the whole time. As much as I love Bootlegger and appreciate the quality and consistency at other branches, I left this one feeling a bit disappointed. I know everyone can have an off day, and I hope it was just that. Still, it would be nice to see more warmth and attention at this location — because the space and the food really do deserve it.

The cafe in the area is beautiful and worth trying.

Family and I was just looking for a place to drink a wake up coffee and oh WOW,we really enjoyed ourselves,from the waitress, Charlene to the food,we had an e xtremely nice experience. Loved the relaxing atmosphere. We were on the main road,but never even felt like it. Highly recommended.

As always you can trust that a Bootleggers always has good coffee. The service was good too. The only issue (not their fault) is that the suped-up cars & especially motorbikes driving past were extremely noisy & disruptive to our meeting. I understand this is NOT Bootleggers fault at all, but as a heads-up to other customers to have meetings INSIDE instead of on the patio if you don't want the traffic noise to bother you. Perhaps the staff should make it a point to let guests know to aid their seating choice.

Overall not a great experience here. Went for lunch on a Thursday. The service was very slow. The wrong food was delivered and the wait for the original food(a club sandwich) was about 25 minutes extra. Seems like something was going wrong in the kitchen or something but nothing was explained. Spent almost 2 hours here due to slow service. Gave us a free banana bread but can't say that made the experience worthwhile. Plenty of other great cafes in the area

The flapjacks were dense and tough. The rosti was alright. Able to swap bacon with baby spinach 👍🏻 Peanut butter smoothie was nice 👍🏻

Absolutely loved this café! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the coffee is excellent, and the pastries are fresh and delicious. What made the experience even better was the amazing service — Rati was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!
