honestly the most depressing place i have ever been in london or possibly even england.
i don’t think anyone who works there or shops there has smiled, maybe ever.
i’ve been in here a few times for a prescription and usually am in there for 10x longer than the normal amount of time to be in a boots, simply because there’s hardly anyone working there or they just take 56 hours to move one limb to the counter.
the most used sentence at the pharmacy counter is “sorry, we don’t have this”, that is if they even have a pharmacist in the vicinity and they haven’t gone missing, on lunch break, or just not bothering to acknowledge your presence.
the point of a pharmacy is to have pharmaceutical products i fear. they also take about 10 minutes to read a prescription, which is slightly worrying.
whenever you do get served, it literally makes me want to book a holiday immediately to just experience one ounce of joy, one modicum of hope. honestly, 5 minutes in here is a lifetime of bleak depression.
i suggest having a pharmacy with medication in it, some happy staff, and more than one absent pharmacist.
