I was really disappointed with my experience at this club in Scala on the 23/08/25. I was denied entry simply for carrying my prescribed PrEP medication with me. As someone who prioritizes my health and safety, I shouldn’t have to feel judged or excluded for taking care of myself. It’s frustrating that a space meant to be inclusive and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community would turn someone away for having a legitimate, life-saving medication. I hope the management will review their policies and provide better training to staff so others don’t have to go through the same thing. The worse of all is the manager of security on duty was super rude and didn’t even want to allow me explain anything….
