Booyah!

1st time visiting. Place definitely has potential. Great bar area with many TVs. They have live music and a decent menu. Burgers are flame grilled and they have some pretty good specials. The salmon in coconut cream sauce was delicious. Pretty good wings as well. We also learned they are open for breakfast so will stop by and try that and update.

My boyfriend and I were staying at the hotel on a work visit and this was our go-to spot for all things food and drink! The place is wide open, plenty of seats, easy exit doors and plenty of parking in the back. Huge bar counter and great staff. The outdoor seating is very nice too—it has seats in the sun and a bar-top to sit at in the shade. It was perfect for grabbing a quick lunch on a hot day. All week we visited the staff and were greeted with nothing but kindness and great conversation. I cannot thank Scott and Jovan enough for being such great waiters. It’s not everyday that you feel comfortable at the bar! Food came out quickly every time and it was nothing short of great. Our drinks were made to perfection and they know how to keep them coming! Just ask for the remote if you want to watch something, there are plenty of tvs to choose from and the playlists are always a throwback. The vibe overall was chill and quiet, and I felt just as comfortable there as I did in my hotel room. Half of the time I just stayed downstairs and hung out. The lobby or the gym is a nice place to hang out too. If you wanna feel comfortable while you dine, make sure you stop by this place. You’ll leave with a satiated hunger and a sigh of relief for sure. Maybe you’ll leave making a couple friends too! Thanks for everything! I would definitely stop by again on my next trip to Mahwah. 🍹

The food, service, drinks, and prices are amazing! They also have cards at the table so you can play trivia games at the table as you wait for foods. This allows everyone to get off the phones. Very 90s vibes. Our waiter BRENDAN WITH THE JERSY was AMAZING very personable, gave suggestions. I'm from NY and I would definitely travel to jersey just for BOOYAH again

We had a great time listening to a gentleman sing acoustic covers and chatting with Tina and Brendan on a Saturday night. There were open seats at the bar and the windows were open for a great open air feel. Our 2 dishes were both pub style and seafood and both were very good. Great food and great service with a fun, diner, 80s- 90s themed atmosphere.

We enjoyed our dinner here! The fresh seafood salad appetizer was worth coming for … next time I will order it as a meal 😅 so so delicious!!!! My husband ordered the lamb chops, and he really enjoyed them. The chimichurri sauce was a nice touch and he said the potatoes were outstanding! My seafood pasta was also fantastic.

Well, the live music is great, the 90s/00s trivia and nostalgia is fun, and the food is fine. But the tables are sticky (like those trivia cards) and I felt like sanitizing every two minute. Hard for me to get past that. Maybe I'll try them again and have drinks only at the bar?

The restaurant was absolutely lovely! We ordered the delicious truffle mac and cheese for appetizer. For dinner I had the honey salmon which was perfectly cooked and those potatoes were to die for. Hubby ordered the cherry chicken which he absolutely enjoyed. We finished the night with milkshakes which were perfectly creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes. The servers were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy with live music. It was was a great date night.

Our server, Adriana, was awesome, kind and sweet. Food was delicious. We went on Valentine’s Day.

Spiders and fly's oh my! There were gnats that immediately flew out of my salad once placed in front of me and my hubby had a spider the size of a dime crawl up his sleeve!! Service was meh at best. Nice open room and big bar but I wouldn't go back.

Excellent service by Scott. We went for Saturday afternoon Happy Hour. We had loaded nachos(not part of the happy hour) as recommended by Scott, sweet red chili wings, pizza, and truffle Mac and cheese. All excellent!! We will be back

We went on St Patrick's day around 5pm with a baby, they have high chairs and boosters. There weren't many customers there, which I preferred. There was good nostalgic music but not too loud, cute 90s trivia cards, and MTV and sports on the many tv's. We had burgers, the Clint Eastwood and truffle Mac and cheese, they were exactly what we wanted. Not a gourmet burger, but a solid bar burger. Fries were very crispy and good, vanilla milkshake was nice and thick too. Staff was very friendly, place was clean. I'm not sure if I would try all the menu items, like the salmon. But any bar food item I'm sure they will knock it out of the park

Hubby and I went out for a date night and were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Definitely would return. We dined outside and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with some music.

The meal was amazing. I sat down the server came to me took my drink order and disappeared. About a half hour later, another waiter came. And asked if I was being helped. My waitress came back and took my food order. NY strip and onion rings.... She repeated back NY strip and French Fries, I said no onion rings. She came back 5 minutes later and said oops we are out of your beer and the bar didn't tell me. Next my order came out with French Fries . I mentioned it she said the kitchen got it wrong, I didn't bother to mention they brought filet mignon. Again the food was amazing just not what I ordered. To my server own your mistakes and yes the steak was entered wrong! You can't blame that on the kitchen.

I absolutely loved this place the first few times I tried it. The last few times I went, the food was way over salted and over garlic-ed! But the food is the reason I kept going back. Unfortunately something should be said about the service. The servers don't seem familiar with the menu or the bar options. They're very friendly but it's frustrating to ask a question about the menu or a drink and your waiter doesn't know the answer. Also hire another one!! Clearly these poor guys are struggling. He barely came back to the table, didn't bring bread, didn't refill our waters, didn't check if we wanted another drink, didn't ask how the food was, took forever to get our check after multiple requests and took a long time to bring our to go boxes. Ayayayay I'm not sure it's worth another visit!

Not quite sure how I missed it but Yelp let me down this time - it's my own fault for not checking the review count more thoroughly - can't win them all. Food was mid at best - service was also just okay, had to ask several times for certain items. This is an odd one but the water was horrible!! Music and atmosphere were cool enough though, the 90's trivia cards kept us entertained while we waited for our food - definitely won't be back but I guess the experience otherwise was somewhat redeeming.

I enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich and fries. Very large portions, I wasn't expecting that. My server, Scott, was kind and friendly and made a good drink recommendation with a unique yuzu addition. I ended up going in on a chill sunday night so it was quiet but it looks like there is a place for live music and trivia - I heard the server mention I missed a murder mystery event as well. would come again!

Service was great! Got grilled octopus which was ok. Nothing bad just ok. Wings were same. A little too much breading for me but ok. For a hotel restaurant and bar not bad at all.

This place has been opened for a bit now and we finally came by to try it. We were not disappointed. The staff was so polite and knew the menu well and made great recommendations. We came back for the second time and have now had a few different meals and we're happy with them all. Would definitely recommend you come by and check them out!

Food was so salty you couldn't taste anything else. Drinks took forever to arrive and the restaurant was empty. They forgot to serve one of the guest at our table. Another guest at our table got food poisoning that night from the stuffed shrimp. Also they don't serve bottled water only tap...what kind of bar restaurant doesn't have bottled water??? Only thing good was the live band they had that night, too bad their sound system is so horrible you could hardly hear them across the restaurant.

Weird experience. Three of us sat at the bar. The place is really big, so, although it looked like there weren't many people there, the crowd was ok. Ordered two beers. Asked for a taste of the Sauvignon Blanc, but the bartender brought a whole glass. Not normally an issue, but girlfriend didn't like it. Got another glass of wine, which the bartender dropped and it spilled all over two of us. They *did* take our drinks off the bill. Ordered app. plate of onion rings, jalapeño poppers, and fries(?) All were straight out of the Costco frozen section. Also ordered the 'Truffled Mac & Cheese.' Bartender and waiter BOTH asked if we were "ok with truffle." Why else would we order, if we weren't. Dish came soupy with NO discernsble taste of truffle. My friend ordered a panini (or wrap) for his main course and said it was good. GF had the Greek Salad, which she liked. It was really big, and if salad travelled well, she'd have had a few more meals. I ordered the Veggie Burger. Speaking with the owner, I asked if it was made in-house. It is. Asked if he liked it, he kinda hemmed & hawed, before saying No. Then, he said "Our chef is a vegetarian... and he doesn't really like it either" Isn't *he* making it?!? Arrived with very good, frozen, fries. Was mediocre at best. All of the servers were very nice, and helpful. We were invited to come back for a Saturday night dance party. Booyah needs to work on getting fewer frozen / reheated items on the menu. Add some truffle oil to that Macaroni. Afterward, we each wondered how, with all that went wrong, we still didn't hate the place. They must be doing *something* right. 2-1/2 Stars

Absolutely delicious! We were a party 4 and got the truffle and bacon Mac and cheese for the appetizer as well as onion rings. Both were delicious, especially the Mac and cheese. For our entrees, we got the honey garlic salmon, steaks and the seafood pasta. Everything came out perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was hot and fresh and our waitress was so attentive and very sweet. I'm looking forward to going back and trying several other things on the menu!

Scott was great! The food was yum and they have such a variety of activities and events for different nights of the week.

I went to Booyah with friends and had the unreleased new cocktail called "my big fat Greek mojito"! Best drink ever! Scott was incredible! The Greek salad was amazing!

With a table of 5, service was excellent and calamari and wings and burgers were insane. Great place.Will be back soon!

Burger was tasty and cooked the way I ordered it. It's amazing how many places don't pay attention to the requested temperature and over cook it. This place cooked it to the temperature I requested and it was perfect.

Service and food were very good and our server Scott was fantastic. Live music was a nice addition
