Delicious late night ice cream treat!! I got the mint chip ice cream. Flavour was perfect!! Chips were more of a flake which was easier to eat with the ice cream. Perfect combination. Cookies for my kids the next day. They loved them!! Such friendly efficient staff. I’ll definitely stop again thanks for the treat.

Google
I tried their ice cream at our office ice cream party, and it was one of the lightest, melt-in-your-mouth experiences I’ve had! These ice creams are served between two half cookies of your choice, which makes it even more fun. I went for Strawberry Cheesecake and Coffee Toffee Chips with a chocolate cookie, and they were fantastic. We also had Nutella, Vanilla, and Chocolate flavors, with cookie options like Rainbow and Gingerbread—plenty of choices for everyone! If I’m ever in the area, I would definitely visit this outlet again.

Google
I didn’t catch her name but the employee working around 6:30 on Oct 5 was very friendly and helpful. Went for the half sandwich which is 2 scoops between a cookie cut in 2 halves. Both flavors I got were Nutella ice cream and salted caramel truffle. Both were excellent. Alot of places have Nutella ice cream but its just a subtle chocolate hazelnut flavor. These guys actually have swirls of the spread mixed into it

Google
We tried their Lavender Honey and Banana Chip Swirl ice cream scoops. The lavender honey had a unique, subtle floral flavor, while the banana chip swirl was equally delicious. Generous portions, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff make it worth a visit!

Google
Amazing service and delicious ice cream!! The best vegan ice cream I have ever had with so many flavours. The gentleman working there was so kind and opened early for us! Absolutely an amazing experience. I would recommend.

Google
Booyah Ice Cream Shop is simply amazing! I recently visited and was blown away by the incredible selection of ice cream flavors and the delicious milkshakes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. The ice cream flavors are creative and delicious, and the quality is top-notch. I tried several flavors and they were all amazing! The milkshakes were also incredible, and the staff was happy to customize them to my liking. Overall, Booyah Ice Cream Shop is a must-visit if you're looking for the best ice cream and milkshakes in town. I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again! Five stars all the way!

Google
Booyah Ice Cream is a delightful treat for dessert lovers! The cookies are moist, chewy, and absolutely delicious. The ice cream 🍦🍨 is incredibly creamy with a great taste, perfectly complementing the cookies 🍪 in their famous ice cream sandwich. This combination is simply irresistible! Don't miss out on this local gem! 🌟

Google
Booked Booyah's Ice Cream truck for our simple office lunch event for Humberview VW. It was an absolute delight from start to finish! The coordination and planning was incredibly smooth — they were responsive, professional, and so easy to work with. Communication was timely and clear, which made organizing everything a total breeze. Their homemade ice cream — WOOOW. Their selection is amazing, with so many fun and delicious flavors and cookie options that choosing just a few was like impossible. They even offer dairy-free options, which was a huge hit with some of our guests. It’s rare to find something that checks all the boxes: quality, variety, and inclusivity for dietary needs. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and quality provided. Our guests absolutely LOVED the experience — a few have already asked me for Booyah’s contact details and package info. That alone says it all. If you're considering Booyah Ice Cream for your event, do it! You won’t regret it. This was an unforgettable treat that truly elevated our day. Thank you to Blair and the rest of the Booyah team!

Yelp
Walking along Vaughan Road past Bathurst - You will see two Ice Cream spots. Dutch Dreamns and Booyah - Ever since my first Ice Cream Taco this is my Ice Cream spot around the area. I love a good assortment of ice cream flavours and this ice cream shop hits the mark. The menu changes from time to time based on the availability of the flavours. They also offer curbside pick up and delivery for their pints which is worth in your freezer from time to time. Highly recommended "Honey Lavender" "Vegan Taro Coconut" and "Mint Chip". It is a small place and they offer patio tables outside to enjoy their scoops. They also provide some samples of ice cream you're considering having that day or night most nights they're open until 10:30 PM. I'm a two-scoop person and that always hit the spot for me. I try to go for some variety as on my last visit I got the Cotton Candy and Kookie Monster. I like the texture and more importantly the flavour of the ice cream. My favourite all-time is their Blood Orange on an Ice Cream Sandwich that's toasted with Nutella and finished with some icing sugar.

Yelp
The lady at the front helped design our cookie sandwich and was able to recommended what flavours paired well with each other, which was really appreciated. The ice cream flavours were phenomenal. But for me, even the half sandwich was a lot. I would recommend sharing if you want a small snack. The store is super tiny so only 1-3 customers can fit in at once to order.

Yelp
Very underrated. If you want amazing tasting quality ice cream, definitely go here. I know there's that other ice cream shop nearby, that dresses their ice cream up all crazy, but in my experience when it has to be dressed up that much it's because the ice cream itself is meh. Booyah on the other hand never disappoints and the staff are so friendly.

Yelp
I had one of their ice cream sandwiches. Actually, who am I kidding, I had two of their ice cream sandwiches. The question is are they worth $6 each? I had two scoops of Cookie Monster and one of them which is essentially just a cookie dough ice cream that is dyed blue because cookie monster. And I had another one that had one scoop of blood orange sorbet, and one scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. The cookie that I had was the chocolate chunk. I'm going to start with the cookie, it was superb. It was a really good cookie. What's not to love about a good chewy cookie that also holds up to ice cream? As for the ice cream, this is where it's going to be hit or miss for a lot of people. For some people they will appreciate that it's a crisper less creamy ice cream, whereas others will probably want the thick creaminess. On the sorbet front, that just had a wonderful texture and flavor. So, was each ice cream sandwich something that I think was worth $6 each? Yes. Does it make sense to buy a five pack of them for $30? Yes. There are people who are happy with 1.5 l of ice cream for $2.99, and there are people who are willing to spend a little bit more on ice cream for the experience, and the flavor. Ultimately everyone needs to make up their own mind, but I do not regret the calories. And I'm glad that I had a second.

Yelp
Yasssss! Lol So tasty the ice cream is nice and creamy. I got the half ice cream sandwich which you can choose 2 flavors to add. I chose the mocha almond fudge and vanilla chocolate fudge with a Triple chocolate cookie. I loved the cookie it was soft and chewy! My mom got the rum and rasin which she loved but wanted more rum lol (she's Jamaican) My friend got a pint of the lavender honey and cookies and cream. Both she loved. The lavendar honey had a stronger lavender than honey taste The line moved pretty quickly I would definitely go again

Yelp
Cool little shop! Good assortment of flavours. Friendly staff. But, I tried a bunch of flavours and personally couldn't find something I really loved. I settled on the toasted marshmallow. But, while it was decent, it doesn't even come close to better versions of this like Greg's Ice Cream used to make. I may try it again and update my review though. You may enjoy the flavours some of my friends seemed to.

Jacqui L.

Yelp
Honestly quite impressed. The portion size is ridiculously huge and anyone would be happy to pay $7 for a half icecream sandwich. It comes with two massive scoops. The whole sandwich cookie (you can get two different types of cookies) would have come with 4 scoops! I can't even imagine. We shared between two people for the half and it was more than enough. The cookies and cream + Oreo cheesecake are both pretty good. Both had so much cookie in it, it was a nice change instead of fighting over cookie bits lol. The cookie sandwich we got was chocolate chunk - soft but nothing special. Tastes kind of like a Costco cookie? I'd skip this and just get the scoop Definitely come and get some icecream if you're in the area. Well worth it! It's better than Eds icecream, so make your way here instead.

Yelp
We ordered ice cream and cookies from this location to make ice cream sandwiches. I found the dairy free Ice cream to be way to sweet and the gluten free cookies had no substance to them and crumbled before I could even get them into my mouth, defeating the purpose of making an ice-cream sandwich. There was no way the gluten free cookies could hold the weight of the ice cream. Uber Eats was really promoting this business and I'm glad I tasted it before potentially ordering an ice cream birthday cake from the shop. Would I return? No! However, with that being said, the employees were very nice when we placed the order and during the pickup process taking them up from one stat to 2 stars.

Yelp
Was on our way to Dutch dreams and saw a line up for this place and decided to make an audible. Glad we did. Peanut butter and jelly ice cream with mint chip. Lots of flavors to choose from and take home cartons. Delicious!

Yelp
Delicious ice cream for a reasonable price. Love the chocolate flavor, rich and creamy! My kids loved their ice cream. Great place for the whole family.

Yelp
This is a very popular ice cream place. It also has vegan options. They offer a variety of ice cream options, including the classic cup, cones, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream tacos, tubs and milkshakes too. They have a lot of flavors to choose from so you'll be sure to find what will make you happy. We tried the half sandwich with chocolate chunk cookie, rum raisin and coffee toffee chip as well as the vegan mango ice cream and lavender honey. The scoops were generous and the flavors delicious. I especially loved the coffee toffee chip which had nice chunks of chocolate in it. Rum raisin has pieces of raisin in it and I thought there could be more rum flavor (I do no drink alcohol, so if you do, maybe you won't be able to taste the rum flavor at all). The vegan mango was amazing as well as the lavender honey. I was a bit hesitant about that flower flavor but it was great, very nicely balanced. The cookies were ok. It's nice that they give you a quarter of a cookie if you get 2 scoops. Definitely recommend that place, which does get long lineups in warm weather but not as much as their Dutch dream neighbor. We were curious to try their ube flavor but they did not have it as it seemed it was a seasonal one maybe. Definitely recommend trying this place if you're craving ice cream.

Yelp
5 stars for the entire experience 4 stars for the ice cream We walked into Booyah around 1-2pm on a weekday. This was the best time because we were able to interact with the staff and owners. They were so cheery and welcoming. We could see and talk to the brother who was working the ice cream machine. We were able to sample their cinnamon toast crunch creation right out of the machine - what a delight. They were also very generous with letting my friend (thanks SW for taking me here) and I sample flavours, including their soft-serve. This made the whole experience 5 stars. Booyah serves both home made treats and Kawartha dairy ice cream. I appreciate their transparency. After speaking with the owners, I learned consumers still want a sub-par product. If you want Kawartha dairy ice cream, take a look at their ingredients. "Booyah" is what I wanted to say after tasting their HOME MADE earl grey ice cream. I could really taste the earl grey tea in the ice cream. The texture was creamy, smooth and velvety. It wasn't hard. However, I had encountered two instances of what I believed to be ice shards. As a result, the ice cream is 4 stars.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! Any thing you get is absolutely amazing! The Ower is a super nice guy who Is Amazing to the local community

Yelp
My bf is convinced that Booyah is better than Dutch Dreams down the street. I haven't tried Dutch Dreams so stay tuned... I was a fan of Booyah. From a branding perspective, you can see how Dutch Dreams put in more effort that likely paid off well. We went on a Sunday night and there was a small line (maybe 10 people deep) at Dutch Dreams. Booyah didn't have a line. But for under $10 we both managed to get ice cream (single scoop for me, double for him) and the ice cream was good! I had the earl grey and he had some chocolate one plus "wolf ____". They both came with a 1/6 of a chocolate chip cookie which was a nice touch. We're not from this area so I suppose we likely won't come back. But I wouldn't discount Booyah over Dutch Dreams just based on line-up, or lack thereof.

Yelp
Decided to give it another go and it was worth it! Had a sweet pocket in a sweet Brioche with Nutella and fluffernutter spreads, on top of the Bordeaux cherry ice cream. Best combination I've had thus far! Generous serving as well!! I think this is my new go to for ice cream every Sunday afternoon!

Yelp
Got pints of Pistachio and Banana Cream Chip ice cream. Pistachio: Creamy. Reminds me of Stock TC's Pistachio gelato but this one is not quite as dense as I would like. It's missing something. Too airy? I don't know but it feels like I'm not getting quite enough pistachio per bite. Might be all natural... or mostly natural. Banana Cream Chip: Has caramel swirled with chocolate chips. This banana ice cream seems to have some flavouring. Doesn't taste all natural to me even though they eventually said it was... Yes, eventually. When I asked if their Pistachio and Banana ice creams used any flavouring, they did not know. Couldn't tell me anything. Said the person who made them wasn't around. I tried to see if their website might have some info and one of the staff assured me that it does not, that she has worked there for 4 years and knows it's not on the site. Like, seriously?!!! Why are the staff not properly educated about what they are selling? This is literally the most basic information you should know. You should know if your ice creams use any flavouring and which ones. You should know this. And this should be on their site. I hate the lack of transparency here. I asked if there was someone she could call and she was like, "Yes, you want me to call them?" Ummm, hello??! So there IS someone you could have called all this time that I've been standing here, asking questions, getting nothing, looking at your site, getting nothing, and you just stood there?! I shouldn't have had to ask. You should have called when you knew you couldn't give me the info I wanted. Seriously. What kind of service is this? She was acting like it shouldn't matter even though it CLEARLY did to me. And even when she called, she just asked if they used real pistachio and banana, even though I was specifically asking if there was flavouring. NOT the same question. Most ice creams use the real stuff AND add flavouring. I did NOT want ANY flavouring. I even clarified this distinction while she was on the call and she still didn't correct herself. Sigh.

Yelp
Tried four flavours. Nutella was by far the best. And I am not a Nutella or hazelnut chocolate fan. Gold medal ribbon came in second. Expected the After eight Oreo to be my favourite and it was good. But not the best of the four we tried. Plain chocolate was exactly that. Good ice cream but plain. Having a few more chocolate based flavours available that are different from what you can get in other ice cream shops would result in five stars. With that said, if you are going to eat ice cream - skip the grocery store aisle and go to Booyah instead.

Yelp
Our friends and I were on a dessert binge to try all the hyped up ice cream places, and Booyah was one of the stops. The decor was a beautiful modern all white ice cream parlor and it was clean. There is a little bit of seating in the store, but there's also a big bench outside to eat and people watch. The big hype item is the ice cream taco, which of course we tried. It was actually quite affordable at I believe $7~. It came with the taco waffle and 3 large scoops of ice cream. The ice cream is from Kawartha, so we were pretty familiar with the the flavours and knew it was good ice cream. This also serves as a love/hate point because it was nothing new. Mocha never let me down though. The taco was decent but very messy to eat. I also suggest sharing with someone because it is quite large! Service was also very nice and worked at a good pace. I enjoyed our time there and would come again if I was in the area. Dutch Dreams is also right down the street, so maybe hit up both of these places with your friends. :)

Yelp
Found out about Booyah, as I was trying to go to Dutch Dreams one day but the line up was way too long. Walked down the street to Booyah & ordered a half cookie sandwich. After 8 Oreo is So Good!!! Brings back childhood memories of eating After Eight chocolate as a kid. This has to be my Fav Ice Cream place in all of Toronto. Staff is also Super Friendly & helpful. The flavors change weekly & are different from Dutch Dreams. Espesso & Cinnamon Toast Crunch are also some of my other fav flavors
google avatar

Yelp
We are new to Toronto and love ice cream, especially unique flavours. Booyah did not disappoint. The New Years Eve pack (three pints, waffle cones, cups, toppings, cookies and NYE hats...) was a perfect treat for our family - and it really helped make NYE festive for our kids especially. When I was growing up my dad ran a homemade ice cream shop, so I appreciate great ice cream. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Meghal S.

Yelp
If you want to find the best ice cream sandwich- look no further! This place has both homemade and kawartha ice cream. They are so delicious. We got an ice cream sandwich - scoops of ice cream in between 2 cookies. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite- Yummm!
google avatar

Yelp
Meh, I'm not impressed. Was hoping to try out the ice cream tacos, but they weren't serving them when we were there. Instead we tried two of the ice cream half cookie sandwiches. We tried the chocolate chunk and the double chocolate cookies. Both were mediocre store bought cookies. We had them with vanilla, key like, cookies and cream, and vanilla fudge brownie. All flavours were okay. Not super creamy, not anything amazing in texture or taste. Just run of the mill average ice cream. One of my kids had a milkshake with Cookie Monster ice cream. They really liked it but I found it to be way too sweet. Definitely not my favourite ice cream spot in town.
google avatar

Alexis L.

Yelp
I've been around the world and this is the only place I've found an ice cream on a cinnamon roll. It's love guys. Really enjoyed. Sugar on sugar could go wrong but this only seemed right. Unfortunately, I did not anything else but my friends did enjoy their ice cream sandwiches. Ambience and counter: Small. Two workers were presents. They were very knowledgeable of the items. I had just had my eye, stomach, and mind set on the cinnamon roll. Calories don't count here.
google avatar

Jo N.

Yelp
Came here during the summer with my sister. There road side paid parking. They workers were inattentive. There was no one in the store. They didn't greet or acknowledge us when we enter. When we were ready to order and standing in front of them they didn't respond and continued doing what they were doing. They only responded when we told them we were ready to order. I ordered an ice cream taco. I had mint chocolate chip, salted caramel and cookies and cream. The cookies and cream and mint chocolate chip were okay but it was really sweet. The salted caramel was extremely sweet and just bad. This place is instagram worth but the ice creams are just the average ones that you can get at any other ice cream parlour. Service was horrible. Will not come again.

Yelp
"Booyah" is what I said after eating the 'toasted marshmallow' flavour. It's unlike any ice cream flavour I've ever had. It's far from just 'ice cream'. You want a burst of flavour in your mouth? You want originality in your mouth? You want creativity in your mouth? You want to say BOOYAH! after every scoop of ice cream? HIT UP BOOYAH RIGHT NOW IF YOU SAID YES TO ANY OF THOSE QUESTIONS!! They are super friendly at this family run ice cream shop and always put customer service as their number one priority. The girl who makes the cakes is super cute and friendly, really knows how to put a smile on your face. I'd come back every single day just to see her. I come here almost every Saturday with my dog for a scoop or two. It's a great spot for you and your date, your entire family, all your friends or even just for a scoop of ice cream all by yourself (I do that pretty often). I highly recommend trying out their famous ice cream waffle tacos. If you're bored of the plain classic cone, the boring old cup then go for the TACO, it's amazing!! Even the police think this place is top notch!
google avatar

Hetal M.

Yelp
popped in here on an impromptu dessert date with my friends (8 of us). the two people working were extremely patient with us as we all were so indecisive. i wanted to try their dairy free ice cream and it was yummy - especially if you like coconut! i ended up getting the half double chocolate cookie, with the almond fudge and cookie dough ice cream! there's not a lot of space to sit there but definitely a cute corner shop, if you're in the area - stop by!

Yelp
If there is one word I can think of to summarise my general experience, it would be the word OPTIONS. The friendly staff seems to take a gleeful excitement in explaining all the possibilities. There are multiple edible vehicles in which your icecream can be delivered to you. The traditional paper cup or cone format? Sure!! Or how about four scoops of ice cream between two full sized cookies? If that is too big, it can be two scoops between a cookie cut in half!! Not exotic enough? We can put the icecream in a cinnamon bun, slather some jam in it and toast it so it's hot on the outside but cold on the inside. Or how about in a waffle taco shell??? SOLD I'll take the one dipped in chocolate with sprinkles. You still need to choose from a full range of icecream in a freezer tucked in the back. Unfortunately, you can't see the selection from the counter but the staff is happy to whip samples back and forth as you work down the chalkboard list. I would recommend the Toasted Marshmellow, which is a creamy vanilla embedded with chunks of sponge toffee. The combination invokes nights beside a smokey campfire. The taco waffle shell comes with three scoops of icecream, option of whipped cream, option of chocolate or caramel drizzle, and an option of two toppings (from two rows of options like chunks of cookie dough or smashed up as chocolate candies). It's a bit difficult to juggle the chunks of sugar on fluffy sugar on melting sugar on a curved waffle, just eat quickly and keep your hand steady and level the whole time.
google avatar

Steph L.

Yelp
Who needs an ice cream sandwich when you can have an ice cream TACO! A crispy chocolate-dipped sprinkle waffle shell, two scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, sauce, and two toppings. It's as crazy delicious as it sounds! I had the marshmallow and birthday cake flavoured ice cream. S'more bits as a topping! They also have dairy free soft serve! I'll definitely be back! :D

Yelp
I came here with a few of my friends to savour some iced desserts before the winter weather kicks in. By the end, I really wished I didn't go. I'm not a hard person to please at a restaurant if the food is at least decent, mind you. It's just that good customer service and ambiance have to be in place. What I found at Booyah was a lack of concern for customers and high leniency, both of which created an unorganized, uncomfortable atmosphere. When we arrived, the single table that seats four was taken up by two gentlemen playing on their phones. We were a party of four and were new customers. We took ten minutes to order and I had hoped that they would clear the table during this time. Nope. Also, during this ten minute interval, the workers even skipped my order when another new customer came in. I wouldn't have minded if they returned to me after serving the other customer, but they thoroughly forgot about me. Dang. After my friends bought their desserts, the gentlemen didn't budge and a worker never asked them to free up the table. It was only after fifteen minutes had passed after we received our orders and were halfway through our desserts (eating while standing up) that the gentleman freed up the tables on their own accord. I'm guessing they finally got the hunch cause I kept staring at them from time to time. However, they didn't leave the store but instead stayed and talked casually with the workers. Apparently, they knew one another, which further confused me as to why the workers couldn't have asked them to free up the table earlier if they weren't regular customers and were instead family, friends, or boyfriends. The last straw was when the gentlemen left and one of them wiped their shoes on the stores' benches and none of the workers reacted. It's possible that they didn't see this, but I was already at a point when I didn't know if the workers were aware of their surroundings to begin with. I will not be returning. My friends said their desserts were decent, but they also noted to me later that it was uncomfortable in the store due to the workers having skipped me and their lack of professionalism with dealing with their friends/family/bfs while on duty in-store. Unfortunately, I'm giving a ''Boooo'' to Booyah.

Yelp
Wow this place is the greatest new ice cream shop in town! I came across Booyah the other day and was very impressed to say the least. Way more fun and interesting than just eating ice cream from a cone. Booyah sandwiches their ice cream between two delicious homemade cookies! They have a great selection of amazing flavours of ice cream from Kawartha Dairy, as well as a few different types of cookies to choose from. I also noticed that they had a great assortment of freshly-steeped teas, though I didn't actually try any. They also serve gluten free, and dairy-free products for those of you with allergies or dietary restrictions. The prices are pretty comparable to most ice cream shops and the customer service was impeccable. I definitely recommend stopping by Booyah. Way better than any other ice cream shop in the area and a new and interesting experience.
google avatar

Idan R.

Yelp
They have a nice concept - they sandwich ice cream (of your choice) between two cookies (of your choice). They also offer half portions. The ice cream is pretty good, although the flavors seem somewhat uninspired. They even have gluten free cookies. Half a sandwich would set you back about $5. A small pet peeve of mine is that you really can't see the ice cream before choosing - it's tucked in the corner and you select from a menu. I don't know about you, but ice cream I definitely eat with my eyes first. Another small complaint is that they could also use some extra seating.

Yelp
I want to give this place 3.5 stars, but don't have that option. I had regular scoop of chocolate peanut butter ice-cream with waffle cone and my hubby had pistachio almond ice-cream cookie sandwich. The reason why I am giving 3 star is because the ice-cream wasn't that good ( it's from kawartha diary)...I'm very picky about chocolate peanut butter ice cream and don't like it when peanut butter is mixed with lot of sugar. My hubby said he wanted to give 4 stars as his ice-cream and cookie were good and hence 3.5 stars. This place is good but nothing extraordinary about it. Most likely won't return. Staff are very friendly, place is clean but you would have to bring cash to avoid ATM machine charges ( which by the way is in their store).
google avatar

Nikita I.

Yelp
HEADS UP!.. They only take cash. They have an atm in the shop that charges you a $2 service few to withdraw cash. They serve kawartha dairy ice cream in cones, cups, cookie sandwiches, waffle cone shaped like tacos. So I don't think it anything special that I haven't seen done before. It is an ice cream shop and i feel I can get their ice cream elsewhere too, so it's nothing unique. I decided to have the sweet pocket since it seemed like something I won't get anywhere else. I wanted the cinnamon sweet pocket bun with moose tracks ice cream and marshmallow fluff. I ended up getting my sweet pocket made in the sugar bun instead but I didn't make a fuss over it. It still tasted good :) I wish I had got more ice cream in the sweet pocket... After all I did drive 30min to Booyah for ice cream. I felt there was only a kiddy size scoop worth of ice cream inside the warm sugar bun. All in all, I love kawartha dairy ice cream. I feel they that one of the best tasting ice creams in terms of favors and quality, but I would not go out of the way to come back to Booyah.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday late afternoon around 6pm craving for some cold sweets and booyah didn't disappoint. It's a small shop nestled near a somewhat busy intersection so I was lucky to get there with almost no line. Parking is free on the street after 6pm which is an added bonus. Went to booyah with the sole intention of trying their "ice cream taco" - which was definitely a novelty item more than anything. The ice cream flavours we had were delfish though - a spicy caramel, pistachio and a vanilla fudge mix - topped with whipped cream, chocolate and caramel drizzle! It's definitely a sharing dessert item, unless of course you're confident in tackling 3 scoops of ice cream AND the taco on your own. I'll be back to try their other flavours and offerings for sure! HEADS UP However as it is currently a cash only joint. There are a couple of banks within a 5min walk in the area though if you need cash or an ATM in the store itself

Yelp
Ok. Came for the ice cream cookie sandwiches but didn't order it because saw large flies on the cookies which were stored on the counter behind some glass which was open at the back. The person at the counter didn't seem concerned when I raised this with her. I just could not bring myself to buy one of those sandwiches after that. So we tried an ice cream on waffle cone instead. Unfortunately 2 our of the 4 cones were not properly folded and had a large hole at the bottom which led to dripping puddles of ice cream all over the pavement and our shoes. Really won't be frequenting Booyah again.

Yelp
What a fun place! Ice cream is great and best served with a thin cookie. The half sandwich is really just two scoops of ice cream with a cookie broke in half to give you something to grip be ice cream with. Huge portions. Only downside to this place is the extremely limited seating and no bathroom access. There is just one table inside and a bench outside. If you're going to be eating with your hands, which you will, it'd be nice to have a sick to clean them with.

Yelp
Honestly some of the icecream hype in Toronto is pretty insane so it's hard to know which places to check out first so this one's been on the back burner for a little while. We drove down to this place late on a Tuesday evening close to closing and were pleasantly surprised to see a lineup of only like 5 people. I guess it helps that it isn't as centrally located as some other places. Big bonus here was free parking on the street. I was surprised at how fast the line moved. From joining the line to ordering was only about 5 minutes. I had the Taco Icecream (because why not?) and my fiancé had the half sandwich. I picked Cotton Candy (not sickeningly sweet so yay!), Black Raspberry Thunder (super refreshing and not too sweet at all) and vanilla (it's regular vanilla, no companies here. I skipped the whipped cream but got caramel sauce, sprinkles and kit kat bits as the toppings. It's definitely messy! But the taco shell comes in handy for scooping if you prefer that over the spoon. Our other item was the half sandwich with Pistachio Almond icecream and Grapenut icecream on a Chocolate Chunk Cookie. Personally we didn't like the Pistachio Almond, it was somehow salty but the cookie was soft and just chocolaty enough. We'll definitely come back despite the cash only limit!

Yelp
Best ice cream in the area by far! Had the cool new flavour Brie and fig Jam and it was the best ice cream I've ever had. Their classic flavours are delicious too

Yelp
All time favourite ice cream spot! Favourites are the cinnamon toast crunch, after 8 Oreo, and cheesecake. Such unique flavours & the brioche is delicious. 100% recommend!

Yelp
I really wanted to like Booyah, especially because it's like David fighting Dutch Dreams (Goliath) in the ice cream war just a couple doors down. Perhaps I just had my bar set high with my TO favourites like Red Bench, Bakerbots, Moo Milk Bar and Bang Bang... But Booyah really failed to deliver any wow factor in its ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a half sandwich of milk and white chocolate chip cookie and Moose Tracks ice cream. The cookies were thin and flat, with average flavour and the ice creams are not made on premise but rather are sourced from Kawartha Dairies. Ice cream sandwiches are 4.65 for a half (one cookie, two scoops) and 7.10 for a full (two cookies, four scoops), the value for which I expected better. The interiors however are very clean and modern, and the service was friendly. There are two benches outside its door (similar to Bakerbots) for seating. For a shop that's super specialized, Booyah under-delivered. It's good for when the Dutch Dreams line is impossibly long and you have an ice cream craving that won't go away, but otherwise I would patiently wait a few doors down.

Yelp
Went there by curiosity and will totally come back. Half a sandwich is made of 2 scoops of ice cream between 2 half-cookies, more than enough and only 4.65$! My brother got a yummy milkshake made of 4 scoops of ice cream for 5.50$ Both where delicious and ice cream very tasty, cinnamon really tasted cinnamon :D

Yelp
Loved the cinnamon toast crunch and the sea salt caramel. staff are very friendly and they let you sample different flavours. One cookie is more than enough for one person.

Yelp
Very friendly staff! My families first time here, it was delicious! They even had dairy free ice cream which was made with coconut milk (I think) and it tasted so good. My son made a mess and they were very helpful with providing wet paper towels for easier clean up.

Yelp
Booyah is the new school to Dutch Dreams old school ice cream in this little block. They take a modern approach to both the decor and presentation of the ice cream. I was drawn to the promise of an ice cream taco, with a selection of 'hard shells' to choose from. I opted for the chocolate dipped shell with sprinkles, and chose from their wide selection of flavours and toppings. The end result had Gold Medal (chocolate and vanilla), toffee (delicious), and Cotton Candy (pleasantly more cotton than candy with a creamy taste not overly sweet). This was topped with chocolate syrup, chopped skors bars, and cinnamon toast crunch. Eating was a messy affair, which shows why they had waffle cones and bowls before they had taco shells, but the execution was solid. This combined with great service and a comfortable outdoor seating area makes for a surefire contender in this neighbourhood.

Yelp
For starters the place is popping, so show up and plan on a shirtwaist. If you're getting the ice cream taco ask for a bigger shell as I noticed they have two sizes. Staff are friendly and the smell of this place is... Well an Ice cream shop so delicious.

Yelp
This place smells of goodness when you enter.  We went on a rainy day so there wasn't a line and we were able to get our desserts quickly. I got the sweet pocket  with a warm brioche bun with nutella and cold vanilla ice cream on the inside and dusted with powder sugar on top. It had to be one of the best combination I've tried! The downside is that the place is a little small with limited seating, but overall a great experience.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! We came here for the first time with her friends, they've been recommending it for quite some time now so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity. When we arrived they immediately told us to get the cinnamon toast crunch ice cream which was out of this world and we also got a chocolate vanilla brownie which was delicious definitely a five star ice cream place, the staff is very nice they speak to you they ask you questions you can have a great conversation with them, also I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies, every time we go there we got about six

Yelp
Nothing to write home about. Dutch Dreams was closed early for the particular day I was there, so I walked down the street to Booyah. Service was cold, uninviting, and the ice cream was definitely nothing special. I needed an ice cream fix and thank goodness they had the kiddie's scoop for just $2.75. Perhaps, I should have tried their ice cream sandwich. I probably won't come back. :/ Hours: 1 pm - 11 pm Parking: street

Yelp
This may not be fair, as I'm not a huge fan of ice cream or sweets in general. PLUS, I can't eat dairy. I thought this place was just ok. I had the only thing I could have on the menu as a non-dairy eater: vegan ice cream sandwich. I got vanilla soy ice cream in a big vegan chocolate cookie. The cookie was good (if a little too sweet for my taste), and I liked how chewy it was. I did not like the ice cream, as the food scientists of the world have yet to make a soy-based ice cream that doesn't taste... soy based. I hoped they had better quality vegan ice cream, or more than just chocolate and vanilla. I ended up just eating most of the cookie and throwing the rest out. Ah well. It's a small place that primarily caters to people who can tolerate lactose, I guess I'll just stick to my Italian sorbets.
