One of the shortest land, but professional pilots made our landing unforgettable. Beautiful small airport, with a busy open air waiting luggage room. It gets busy, with all the hotels workers who help out guest from those expensive bungalow hotels. Those 6 or 7 hotels each have their own ferries who pick up guests. We used a local free ferry to the mainland. A joyful experience on its own.

Super small and neat airport with unbeatable views! It is on an island, not on the main island of Bora Bora, so you will need a taxi/ferry to get to where you need to go. It is rather hot and not air conditioned but who cares when you are on Tahitian time surrounded by turquoise waters! They have a small gift shop, restrooms and a waiting area with soft furniture. Calm and relaxed atmosphere and friendly people! Two gates - arriving and departing. Do visit!

Nice little airport but there was an intense smell of sewerage outside the landing / departing area. Has 2 shops, a coffee shop and the hotel boats embarking area right in the airport

This was surprisingly a pleasant airport. Arrival was super quick, and our resort had a counter and whisked us away on a boat and we were there in 20 minutes. The view was incredible! On the return, our flight was delayed by 3 hours, but time flew by. It is not airconditioned but there were fans and comfortable seating. And again: the view??! How could you be mad? The one and only snack stand actually had decent food. I had the chicken in a baguette and pineapple gelato, and it was delicious and well-priced considering the isolated location. They accept cards. There is also no security so that was extremely convenient and was able to bring a full-sized water bottle.
