We had a wonderful stay at the Bora, over a weekend trip hailing from Zurich. The location was as nice as we imagined, quiet, foggy mornings that open up with sunshine in mid January, a lot of swans and other sea birds at the lake-access surrounding the hotel. We came for the relaxing environment and to spend a lot of time in the hotels' sauna area, where they have a wonderful variety of saunas (do check the schedule in advance), a steam room, ice baths, infrared-therapy, massages and their very own onsen (45+ degrees Celsius) that were amazing We barely left the hotel because we mostly wanted to sleep and enjoy the amenities, but the city of Radolfzell does actually provide you with tourism tickets for public transport for the entirety of your stay; something small but unexpected and even though we didn't use it, it was like a cherry on top. We used the hotels in-house parking and stayed for dinner on the premises; the food was refreshing and creative - the chicken breast cooked on point with the skin still very crispy; and from what I could tell, they had a grand selection of spirits and wine that you could ask for pairing on your meals. Breakfast was included and the buffet offers all kinds, also all kinds of milk-alternatives, which was great for me. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for another relaxed weekend

We spent three wonderful days at this hotel, and our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The rooms were clean, spacious, and solidly built, featuring real wooden floors and ceilings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bar on the fourth floor was a very comfortable place to relax, with the option to sit outside in the patio/ winter garden area, thoughtfully equipped wirh blankets and heaters. The drinks were excellent-especially the Old Fashioned, which was beautifully prepared by our bartender. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but since the drink isn't even on the menu, I am sure he'll know who he is. Thank you again! Overall, the hotel is very pleasant and conveniently located within easy reach of the town center and shopping area. The spa and sauna facilities were absolutely beautiful. The layout was well designed, offering various "Aufguss" sessions with a very cold dip option in to the Bodensee if you chose to do so as well as plenty of space to lie down and truly relax. Above all, the kindness and friendliness of the stafff really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable-something that is always appreciated and not taken for granted. We would happily return and highly recommend this Hotel and Spa.

Very nice establishment! The Japanese room was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! The breakfast was varied and served in a very nice and light room. The room 301 has very easy access to spa area as the lift is literally opposite side of the room. The spa area is well maintained, but it was very busy between Christmas and New Year. Bora is easily accessible and offers indoor and outdoor parking. All staff members were very friendly. The bar at the 4th floor has super nice views to the lake.

The hotel was a short walk from the train station. The staff were courteous, kind, gracious, and friendly. The accommodation was inviting, elegant, and modern. The breakfast was delicious with a plethora of choices. Multiple coffee machines meant no line ups for morning coffee. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. The rooftop restaurant was comfortable with amazing food. I would rate this hotel as one of the best that I have had the good fortune to experience.

Google
Nice wellness and spa hotel with special wood architecture. The premises integrate an older sauna compound to make for six saunas and a steam bath in total, as well as an onsen-styled pool and several different relaxing areas, some of them also in Japanese style with tatami floors. The hotel rooms are beautiful, some overlooking the adjacent nature reserve. Gastronomically hotel Bora is ok, but unremarkable.

Very nice hotel, beautiful modern rooms with a big sauna complex. Easy access from hotel to sauna. Restaurant is expensive

Beautiful modern hotel with great Spa/Sauna/Pool facilities, if you don't mind getting naked. Awesome breakfast buffet.

Very nice staff, good sized rooms with plenty of hanging and self space for clothes. Good sized balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Bathroom layout is unconventional with both toilet and shower in their own separate small rooms and the wash basin area open to the bedroom behind the bed headboard. This will suit some as you can do separate things at the same time, but that means that if you need the sink while a partner is sleeping the noise and light can more easily wake the other person! The wellness area was excellent with saunas inside and out of different temperatures plus a small outdoor pool and direct access to the lake. The sky bar area was also very good with cosy seats and a great view of the lake. Parking is under the hotel with a €10 daily cost. The only downside to our stay was the bath robes, both were fairly small and quite worn including a belt missing the last few cm.

Yelp
The wifi signal was spotty at best in our room. Room service was prompt. Restaurant and hotel is very modern. Location is good- close to grocery store, gas station, the Bodensee. Overall a nice, clean experience but if you are paying good money, wifi should work seamlessly! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
