Fabulous hosts and coffee experts. You can really learn so much from them during tasting sessions on specialty coffee, and understand concept in full, production process from growing to preparing. Excellent testing sessions not only coffee but also other coffee related products. Home atmosphere and well spent time with them. Coffee lovers must visit location one of a kind in Istria.

Absolutely amazing place! All ordered drinks were amazing, coffee tasting was very interesting and informative; we bought the beans as well and coffee we make at home now with those beans is also great. Other highlights are the beautiful garden and the owners! Super friendly and welcoming :)

Such a lovely speciality coffee place with a cute garden 😊 Owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. We got cappuccinos (they have plant milk) and tried the coffee cherry tea which was very nice (we had never heard of it before!). Definitely worth a visit if you like coffee!

Best people we got to interact with during our two weeks stay in Istria Region. Also the only place where you can have a good coffee. This is not just a regular coffee shop, is an experience, a great one. If you want you get to taste multiple types of coffee, everything you could wish for, from cold brew, v60, espresso, cappuccino, you name it. Left the place with great memory, two bags of coffee beans, awesome espresso taste in the mouth and a bit smile on our faces. Love it, totally recommend this place.

My husband and I stopped over on Sunday after contacting Matteo through the Bora Nera Instagram account page. Not only where he and his family very knowledgable about coffee and other natural plants and fruits, they are super passionate about what they do and they are also very lovely and friendly people. After moving from Zagreb to Pula, we missed our specialty coffee cafes and me being lactose intolerant, makes it even more tricky in Istria for me to enjoy good coffee with milk. But they also had non-cows milk and the coffee was outstanding. We are from Melbourne, so we are very particular about our speciality coffee, and Bora Nera is one of the best we have tried in Croatia. They also have a nice garden with the sea in the far distance so you can enjoy your awesome coffee moment in a tranquil environment.

Nice shop, cafe and roster. Matteo and his wife are great coffee specialists. Tasty cold brew and pout over. Perfekt if you want to drink and talk sboru coffee. Gladly will return here next time
