We were on a trip through Catalunya last year -June- and spent a few days in Andorra La Vella.
Normally we rent an airBnb with a kitchen because we take eating seriously and we're very good cooks so we buy local food from the stores and cook our way into the local culture.
BUT, we always make a point of eating in at least one local eatery. We always ask around the locals for "where do YOU eat?"
Can Andreu was recommended by several locals so we went a little late, around 2:30PM. It took us a while to find the place so we were the last diners.
It was a very good recommendation. The food was excellent, the beef carpaccio, the veal, etc were outstanding, the service, the entire meal was very satisfying. They made us feel welcome. The price too was really reasonable - with the usual good tip! Very good Andorra-Catalan Food from the High Pyrenees.
The location is also very good, in the heart of the old city. So it's a complete enjoyment. After dinner we took a nice long three hour walk around the city.
We're going back to Andorra next May or June. We'll be back!
Thanks.
