Boréal Coffee Shop Oerlikon (ZU)

Great place! Perfect if you like working in cafés. It's a shame it's only open till 2:30pm

I found the coffee really bad, perhaps it’s personal taste but I couldn’t even consume half.

Correction: Borreal shares its space with The Gärtnerei where we had lunch. I did not have a coffee there, but I know their store in town and if you are in the market for a really good, really strong flat white, this is the place. Really good.

Very friendly staff, place ok-ish (a typical business complex coffee shop) , coffee itself is not worth mentioning I´m afraid. First of all, thank you for getting back to me. I´ve visited your coffee shop 5 times in order to come to my personal conclusion. I find the coffee lacks character and especially body. To me it tastes flat, as if water had been added that washed away all the flavours and the richness. There are two cafés in Zurich that I´d recommend you to visit and try their coffee if you´re interested. All the best.

My favourite coffee spot in this office area. The only place in Oerlikon (and together with Miro one of the two in Zurich) where you get a good, strong artisan coffee. The flat whites are strong and the foam is thick.

Hipster place. Feels like you're conditioned to feel cool and relaxed. Rather enraging IMHO. Place was nearly empty and dirty. Coffee was OK-ish but expensive. I was asked for too many options. I don't wish to go down in history as that bland person that, rather impressively, always places the perfect order for a cup of coffee. Stop bothering regular people and just get your default settings right!

Wifi, electricity, excellent coffe and nice modern places to work and hang out

A cozy, surfy café with solid specialty coffee and a warm vibe right in the heart of Zürich. Their flat whites and Americanos are consistently smooth, and the Geneva-roasted beans give everything a rich, mellow flavor. It's a great spot to chill, read, or work from your laptop without feeling rushed. Expect to pay Swiss prices, but it's still one of the better spots for relaxed coffee moments.
